[Q] Is there anyway to fix a hard brick? - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hi guys, I'm have my S3 i just flashed InsertCoin 4.5.0 T-Mobile Galaxy S3 and now it won't boot up or even start. Is there any known way to fix for this? I've done some research and found out about the USB JIB but is that the only way? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any sign of life such as led light up when plugged in charger ? Do you have adb set up on your pc ? Does it recognize it??

Never heard of that rom. Not for this device. JTAG or warranty.

It won't even let you go into recovery? If per chance you can get into it, look on the forums for the stock rom, then install per the instructions. You'll lose your root, but you should have a working phone again.

Why the link says tmobile ? That is confusing..
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium

Link doesn't even work for me lol, and I'm guessing the link is entered with a change of name before posted. they have a site http://insertcoin-roms.org/category/devices/galaxy-s3/ they don't attest to which phone exactly they have, just an S3 OP's fault overall but a little theirs too lol.

Jtag
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium

Go to www.mobiletechvideos.com and look for jtag repair for SGS3. I hard bricked my SGS2 and sent it to them and they fixed it for me. The whole process takes about 10 days from the time you send it out and for you to get it back. I highly recommend these guys. It cost $60.00 for the SGS3.

As a few others have mentioned, all you need done it have a jtag repair done. There are quite a few places that can do it. Bigtom624 recommended a place, I have also seen other companies offer this service through ebay. I recently just purchased a jtag box and fixed my s3 with it. I plan on offering this service once I have done a few more phones. Good luck.

Darn wish I had know about this darn

Are you rooted? If so don't go through with it yet and go to a root explorer and go to the root of your files and go to /cache and pull the update (update.zip) and then upload it to something. From there we can have our own magic of a ROM.

shouldn't be too hard for those that know how to build from a source. Should come out pretty stable also. I'll give it a go of course, but doubt I'd be able to stay on it for too long.
So far, i personally like the way it looks and acts.. But it suppose it'll depend on performance and stability, functionality.

i'd suggest you not flash this right now, as it's clearly stated that the ROM is only for the Verizon Galaxy S III, d2vzw.
flashing a ROM from another phone could cause your device to hard brick.

Technically, it's the mounting points that differ. You could go into the updater-script and modify the mount points to match our phone.
I assume it has a while sperate kernel though? (I haven't looked). If so, that would clearly be a problem too.

Please research before answering a n7100 ROM=brick. You can probably run an n7105 ROM just fine, but NOT n7100. You could have got this guy to flash that ROM and bricked his phone.

Correct, but it's proven to not flash n7100 all others are probably okay.
Look here's the deal I really appreciate how much your want to give back to the community. It needs more people who want to contribute instead of just get their questions answered.
