AW: Which custom ROM is recommended for HTC one x tegra 3 CID 0_44
Every rom has his own good things. Read the threads...
And for the future, this forum is only for present custom roms, searching in the future and/or read...

As you are new here, i will explain the mistakes you have made.
Firstly, never post questions in the dev section, this section is strictly for development. Questions just dilute this section making it difficult for all.
Secondly, there is no ROM that is best for all, its subjective depending on usage. I suggest you read through the OPs and posts of the development section, and from what you learn, make your own informed decision. It is for this reason i close the thread.

Adding Custom ROM

Im thinking about adding a custom ROM but which should I choose? Also I saw the release of Cyanogen 6.1. Is this a good stable rom? Plz give me a review before I flash this ROM.
Another useless thread.

Wow, really? Did you really create this? Thread reported.
No dude I wouldn't use any roms on here. They'll do crazy bad things to ur phone. Maybe even blow it up
Joell27, before they close this thread you should first know you can't make threads of such questions in an dev section.
Go to the Q&A section.
Second, try CM 6 to me its much more faster ,stable and safer.
I've tried the others, and id use this one for now.
Other than that, don't make another thread like that asking questions on this section.
Just being nice, giving heads up and helping out.

This question comes up all the time. Read about the ROMs and pick one, try it, and see if it does what you want.
If not, try another one until you find one that is "right for you"
That's really the only advice there is tbh
Closed as I reckon this will turn into a "ROM war" if left here.

It did. When you were born. Could you answer the question?
they all are pretty much the same. i like jokersdroid
Sorry i don't answer to stupid people who can't follow forum rules.
... wow i just liked saying that, seriously post in the Q&A section next time.
Don't be a rule-nerd... Mods will take it to the Q&A section. So if you can't answer the question don't post because you're spamming.
LOL im spamming? i'm not the one that's too lazy to post a thread in the right part of the forum, that's spamming.
But whatever do what you want, i don't care, peace.
JokerDroid 4.2 (soon upgrated to 4.3) is definitely the best sense-ROM for wildfire

Answer : Do your own research because each ROM is different for each user based on how it is configured.
Do not create useless threads. Having that kind of attitude to longer serving members will not get you any respect.

I tried all rom but at some point i could find some minor bugs not all rom are 100% bug free rom. I finally decided to end up with stock rom, made it root disabled few stock now i feel it's quite faster.

Thanks!
"Faster" is a little bit personal, so I prefer to use benchmarks to be more imparcial. Jokerdroid gives me 3.2mflops with linpack, using 730mhz.
Better use CM7 no bugs. 5.2 mflops
flash wildpuzzle... flash an oc kernel... then use darktremor script to free up more space... and in the end use this...
hxxp://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1111145 ... just mine opinion

Yes, 4.2mflops an no bugs, NO HTC dialer, NO firendstream, NO HTC contacts, NO flash, NO way!!
He asked by a sense rom...
I am using jokerdroid for 1 month and cant see any kind of bug or force close, never... What bug did you find on it?
You should really use the search function or one of the indexes, but JokerDroid is the best sense rom imo.

You didn't see the post just a few down from this one?
Because of the controversy and arguments they inevitably generate, "best ROM" threads are prohibited on XDA. To determine which is best for yourself, read user feedback and better yet, try a few ROMs for yourself. Thread closed.

[Q] ROMs and Kernels fot HOX+

Hi people,
In few days' time I'll be a proud owner of the HOX+ international (I'm Polish) and I have few questions to ask you:
1) Do guides regarding HOX such as this apply to HOX+? If not, then what's the difference?
2) Where should I (as a newbie) should look for stable and trusted kernels and ROMs?
3) What are the most important things to check, when choosing a new kernel for my device?
I'm tremendously grateful for all helpful answers and tips :good:
A good place to start would be the on x+ forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1814
There you will find guides and roms and also kernels.

Omni-rom!

Hasn't anyone notice that we have Omni-rom for our HOX? Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2666267
Do take a break from your hectic lifestyle and flash it than leave your comments to the developer for further improvements.
PLEASE don't forget to thank the dev for porting it for us
...............
C'mon Mr Hofs! You should really be more supportive of the devs whom tries their best to port over AOSP rom for our hox
No i dont. I don't see the need of such a thread. Why don't we make such a thread for every rom and call out to support the devs. Xda would be loaded with this.
...if you want to support the devs you give info and input about the rom in the specific dev thread instead of making polls/unnecessary threads in the general section.
Such a poll will probably only lead to some sort of rom comparison thread because one day there will be someone who posts here that he thinks that rom A is better than omni because ..... etc etc etc.
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
A thread for Omnirom already exists in Original Development. Thread closed
