I have CM10.1 with nitest kernel and TWRP Recovery installed too and the file you looking for (Recovery.log) is not in this directory /cache/recovery
but I found another log file called (last_log) 225.58 Kb in the same directory and looks like it has a lot of info when I opened it, does that work for you?

ok but how do i add tweaks and different kernels?
Easiest way to copy and paste codes in the build prop, and tweaks in the etc folder. I have no idea how to tweak the kernel. As far as I know you need the source for that.

[rom][back up] creeds rom v2.0.

PS DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK..
THIS IS A BACK UP FILE FROM ONE OF MY COUNTRYMEN WHO IS CONCERN ABOUT PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO HAVE THIS ROM.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
Instructions
1. Download and copy to your sdcard.
skin1980cwm.zip
2. Download the links below, this will be normaly saved in to your pc's download folder. Do not rename the downloaded files as it is essential for step 3.
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.001
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.002
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.003
CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup.zip.004
3.then join it using hjsplit
hjsplit DOWNLOAD LINK
hjsplit
when joining, just click "join" and you need to browse the files. you wil just browse the first one. the program will automatically detect the other 3 files. AND DO NOT RENAME THE FILES.
4. after joining extract it. then copy it sdcard, you need to copy it at /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/
5. go to CWM and restore the backup
cheers enjoy.
credit to my co-symbianizer
detorresrc
the reason for this thread is that I cannot upload my own powerful mod of the rom.
hope it satisfy you guys.
PROUD TO BE PINOY!
anywy. please do not rename the backups because it is essential in joining the backups at hjsplit..
the name of the backup would be CreedsRoomV2_NandriodBackup
or you can just manually create a folder under /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/ with the back ups inside it.
thanks bro....
Or you can get the links for the rom (not a backup) from my post in general section. It's in that thread of that guy who was asking for the links for 2.1.

FI03 Custom Bootanimation Fix

I finally figured out why bootanimations no longer work in FI03 (I didn't bother checking FH23, I'm sure it will work for that build too).
I did a diff of all the lib files (there were 33) and narrowed it down to libsurfaceflinger.so. The file is showing a different binary signature between FH13 and FI03 even though they are exactly the same size byte for byte. If you take the file from FH13, custom bootanimation now works. :victory:
Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.
That is the same file you replace to fix the flicker after crt off animation. Nice job, i wonder how it changed to stop boot animations.

That's correct, I almost forgot about that. Once I finally got around to trying the lib, it was the first file I replaced when I spotted it in the list.

Yes, FI25 is working for custom bootanimations again (as long as the kernel you are using has custom bootanimation support).
I have a bunch of custom bootanimations ported over from Rom Toolbox if anyone wants to try them out. The link is in my sig.

Change Carrier Name - Sprint

Device: Sprint GSIII
ROM: Stock L710VPBLJ7
Experience: Noob
How do you change the "Sprint" carrier name on the lock screen and pull down menu? Search and read various threads but none seems to work with JB 4.1.1. The instructions/codes does not match any of the .xml files in SystemUI. As stated above, I am a noobie so any help would be greatly appreicated or even pointing me to the right post/thread.

Well, after 8 months of frustration working with the S6810, I got a chance on a mint Galaxy S2 at a bargain price and went for it. Them I sold the shyte S6810 and used to money for groceries for my daughters at their house as things were a bit tight for them this month and the change I used for gas for the car... So after 8 months of frustration the Fame finally managed to do something useful.
As for the Galaxy S2.... It had already been upgraded to Jelly Bean and within half an hour I was rooted and running all my apps again, but without lag, freeze and frustration.
Seriously folks, stop flogging a dead horse and get rid of the Fame and get something better with real support and roms and kernels and lots of goodies! You can only get happier...
