[Q] Turn off Vibrate in Silent Mode - CM10.1 - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

Hey guys,
so i noticed my phone doesnt vibrate when i recieve text messages unless the phone is specifically set to vibrate mode.
with volume, i recieve a notification sound but no vibrate
Im using go sms pro as my messaging client and when i test the notification settings i get a report saying:
test result is:
ringtone is on
has turned on vibrate in silent mode
go sms notification test results:
ringtone is on
vibration is on
etc...
so the line im trying to figure out is the "has turned on vibrate in silent mode".
ive searched through the Sound settings on the phone and i cant find any way to change the vibration settings or the silent mode settings.
i even experimented with setting the stock messaging app to vibrate always and setting go sms pro to no block other app notifications...still no vibrate even with the duplicate notifications.
what do you guys think? i feel like im just full retard and missing a simple check box in settings or something.
thanks

Your question is about Go SMS? With the stock messaging app, vibration options are in the settings. Must be in there somewhere.

[Q] Phone rings in silent mode

Hey Guys, i have a question, my nexus is ringing when i have it set to silent mode.
The ring is not the normal ringtone.. when the call is received, there is a short ringing sound, the LED flashes and then it goes silent. all texts/emails are silent in silent mode its just phone calls show that ring-ring then go silent.
I am stock/rooted. Im not really sure what is going on here..
Any ideas? i looked through all the setting on the phone and couldnt find anything related to this.
Thanks so much for any help
Are you using any profile switching applications or apps that change your sound levels? I used to get this on my Droid sometimes when using a profile switching app. The app would say I was silent, and my volume levels were down, but on an incoming sound from twitter would still make it through, like the app didn't respond fast enough.

Simple and stupid vibration question

It seams that I don't know how to set up my HOX to vibrate for SMS only when I put it in vibration mode.
When vibrate is on in SMS options it vibrates even if the sound is on.
There is also vibration for calls and SMS in the general sound settings but it also seems that the phone vibrates only for calls.
I just need it to vibrate when I put it in vibration mod.

Vibration on Notification Bug

I just installed CM 10.1, have been on 4.1.2 before this.
I can't find the right settings for a sound mode where gmail notificiations will only play a sound and not vibrate.
I have disabled vibration in the options in Gmail, but the Gmail notifications are still vibrating. I have also tried the various sound modes available in CM. This is a deal killer for me because my phone will be vibrating all day long annoying the hell out of me. Putting it in silent and also losing the sound notification is not an option.
This seems to be an issue others have pointed out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1785800&page=3
Is there a fix/workaround?
Found the issue...it was profiles. I have to go into the Application Groups in the Profiles menu and change all the application options to not override for ring, vibrate, and light.
Awesome post!! Thanks so much for bringing this up....
as a new user I did not know how profiles override system settings in the setting menu. ESPECIALLY vibrate and notifications!!!
Thanks

[Q] Vibrate in call

Is there anyway to enable vibration in call? I know turning on "alerts" in phone settings works only for the default messaging app, that's all. Every other app, notification gets muted with no vibrations. Theres no way to tell if there's an important text or email that comes through without having to turn the phone back on and checking.
So is there any way to enable it, or by through any Xposed Module? Thanks!
