Sweet DNA Person Case from Cruzerlite - Galaxy S III Accessories

Hey folks! So you're most likely like me, a huge Android fan, especially considering you're here, lol
Anyways, i got this sweet case from Cruzerlite.com, the people who make the custom XDA case. Thought i'd share my review of it with you. I LOVE the design on the back, which is why i chose it.
Hope you like it!
Cheers,
Jared
p.s. links to buy it are located in the video about section (aka the video description) at the moment it's on sale for super cheap! Also, it's called the DNA Persona case, not person case, lol. XDA won't let me edit the thread title...lol

Thanks for the review. That ceratinly looks nice, but I miust say it will not absorb impact that much because it is very thin and hard. If you want impact absorption, the case must be thicker (on the sides and corners) and also soft like silicon.

I think the case is tpu. So it should be soft  Great review

Video Review: SGP Ultra Capsule Case!!

Hi guys,
Just wanted to share a quick review of the SGP Ultra Capsule I was sent for review, it is a great TPU style case that fits snug onto your device and will offer pretty decent protection.
Watch the full review for more info:
Nice video, the case looks really good but that glitter is pretty much a deal-breaker for me.
Have it in white also
and i can say this is the best SGP case
unless you want the black color, dont worry about these glitter ! they are almost invisible unless you stare at the case right under your nose

Yeah, trust Jeandujardin's word and mine, you won't see it unless you look at it closely under light. I do have some more cases coming in so perhaps we'll find one you like.
Thanks for your comment and support

I wouldn't buy it if I were you. I made the mistake and I'm paying for it till my neo hybrid arrives. It's not too tight when you get it, but after a month the device freely moved in it, and there's a lot of space between the battery cover and the case. The matte finish which I liked so much about it is wearing off at the corners too. Holes are well aligned though, but it's lifespan is 2 months tops.
I have this case too and I have to say I really like it. Unlike other people, I actually like the minimalistic glitter. It makes the material feel more premium than generic rubber plastic.

Video Review: Otterbox Commuter Series Case For Galaxy S2!!!

Hey guys,
Super excited to bring you the full review of the Otterbox Commuter series case for the Galaxy S 2. This case met and exceeded my expectations, definitely recommended. It is super protective, clean and feels great in the hand. You can watch the full review below:
nice review mate (yet again) you are a good talker on camera do you do them off the cuff 1st time or is there much editing
about the case , i think i prefer the casemate tough . same sort of style case yet doesnt seem to have as much silicone exspsosed to attract dust and also seems to fit a bit tighter to the handset then the otterbox .
The top bit that wont lay flat would annoy me like it did you so thanks for pointing that out .
nice review mate keep them coming

Many thanks for the compliments. I usually make a mistake here and there but nothing major, if you look at some of my older videos you will see it's just a matter of keeping at it and practicing haha.
I've got a Tough for the HTC Sensation and I can relate to what you mean, the Tough seems to cover up more of the Silicone, however the only thing I'm not a big fan of is that the Tough leaves the bottom portion very flimsy.
Thanks again, more videos to come!
wow mate keep up the videos, love the content, thanks
I actually don't have the raised silicone at the top that you complained about. It may be because your phone is White and modded that its dimensions differ from the original galaxy s2

Someone commented stating that as well, it may be because I have an SGP Glas screen protector which adds some thickness.
I have the same issue, and it doesn't have a screen protector.
This case is perfect without the front silicon.

Thanks for letting me know that. I was starting to think it was my SGP Glas but now that you're experiencing it, perhaps some cases have their silicone a little more stretched than others.
FYI, some people were wondering if/when Otterbox would release their Defender series case; my contact said this:
Also, to the best of my knowledge, we will only be making a Commuter Series for the Galaxy S II, not a Defender Series as well. Sorry to disappoint. If that changes I will let you know.

Hi Ploone,
Awesome reviews you do here! Glad to see you like your Otterbox case as much as I do. One thing your review doesn't cover (it didn't really need to) is the included screen protector. Here is my short review of that:
The included protector appears to be there for the sake of being there. It isn't sticky, which is about the only pro I can think of. It is a fingerprint magnet. It's finish is one that not only do fingerprints look awful when the screen is off, but actually interfere with the colours of the screen when it is on, mostly when viewing lots of white. It is hard to tell if it is interfering with my touchscreen, I really do think that it has affected sensitivity just a bit, but that could be a placebo.
All in all, if you are cheap and anal (like me), you will find yourself using it because it was "free" with the case. I do want to look into getting an SGB Glas protector, but don't want to spend another $35 on that, and then get a 32gb class 10 microsd at another $70+ lol this phone is costing me too much money!!!
Or maybe I'll live with it as is

Hopefully Trident Cases makes one, they usually take their time to release a case (as they did with the Nexus S) but they are good quality and I've been pleased with their products.
Thanks for the nice review. IMHO the Case-Mate Box is probably better as the four corners of the SGS-2 are protected by the hardcase as well. The Otterbox seems to protected the corners only with the silicone parts.

[NEED YOUR HELP] REQUEST Case-Mate Brushed Aluminum Barely There W/ KICKSTAND...

Hey, everyone,
We all kno that a Case-Mate Brushed Aluminum Barely There case with Kickstand'd b the hottest thing since sliced bread for our E4GTs. So, I'd come across a request here for 1 to b produced. I implore u all 2 go & vote. Case-Mate's very good 4 takin' customer feedback, so let's make it happen. I don't kno about y'all, but it's the *only* case I'd evr want 4 my E4GT.
Thanks.
I would have to agree and just voted on your request page. The Pop case is very similar and will be out next month but might be too bulky.
Not sure how effective this will be, but it'd sure be awesome if they made something like that. I wouldn't mind paying a good $40 if it had a quality kickstand, unlike the cheap plastic one on the Sprint case. In any case, I voted.
Thanks for the heads up and link! I just voted.
Im pretty sure the actual kickstand part of the sprint one is metal.

Haha yeah you're right, my bad. Still feels really cheap though.
i think a kickstand will add bulk to it so it would be hard for them to call it a "barely there" case. But i still think brushed aluminum and kickstand would be awesome.
Glad u all share my interest. Let's keep those votes comin'. 8D We're already ranked 13th‼ All overnite‼

I agree with this entirely...
"kickstand" and "barely there" are mutually exclusive concepts.
I love the way this looks, and I want a truly "barely there" case - if it were condom thin I'd be happiest - so I'd be glad to pass up a kickstand.
But, if - say - the entire aluminum part was hinged as a kickstand, that would be very cool - for a regular-thickness case.
::bump::
We're up 2 7th place. Keep votin'. I've a TPU Matte Black, but this is what I really want.

5th Place, ppl...

Still n 5th... VOTE‼

come on guys i want this case lol
I voted! Can you vote more than once! If so , how?
I want that case ASAP!
Actually the kickstand and barely there are not mutually exclusive, it just takes a bit of design finesse to achieve. I voted.

Video Review: Case-Mate Barely There Matte Black

Hey fellas,
I got my hands on the Case-mate barely there recently and wanted to share my thoughts on it. It's a snap on the back case which is made for someone who wants to keep the device as slim as possible, so it won't offer much protection either. It features a matte coating which is comfortable to hold & feel. Ports and cutouts are properly aligned and for the most part, it is what you would expect from Case-Mate.
Check out the full review below:
cool case .. i have a cheap ebay one that does me well tho

Yeah there are alternatives out there (such as the Ringke Slim Lite) for much cheaper, but the case itself is well made - only too pricey.
Great review as always Ploone, love your channel!
I would like to make a request, when the SGP neo-hybrid comes out you should review it asap.
I really want to order that case would be great to know your opinion on it before ordering!

I will be getting that it as soon as possible and will be sure to post a review on it. That was a very popular case for the S2 & Nexus!

So I'm wanting to buy a case for my s3 after almost dropping it the other day and i have never used one before because I hate the added profile to the phone. Can you guys or girls give me some pointers on what i should be looking for? I have no idea what materiel is best, or design, or anything about getting a case. any info is helpful! Thanks!

I would just say if you want slim basic protection you cant go wrong with a TPU case ,.
If you're really careful with the device, I'd say a regular tpu case will do. But if you have butter fingers I'd recommend body glove shock suit. I have it and it's great and slim

Agree with everyone else about TPU cases, they're the best blend of protection and bulk. I've had 5 different TPU cases for the S3: Mercury, Diztronic (matte black), Boxwave, (all about $10), iGadgitz ($3), and ZooGue ($5 on sale). The ZooGue is the best I've used: http://www.zoogue.com/galaxy-s3-cases/. The Diztronic was too slippery, Mercury was a bit too low-profile with not enough screen protection for me (you may like that one if you want to keep the phone slim though). The iGadgitz was pretty good but just didn't look very good. Boxwave should not be considered.
Looks pretty cool, almost military grade. Seems bulky however

Not really. There is a post around here with comparison photos with and without the case.
It's the slimmest case I've found offering that amount of protection.
I might be checking this ZooGue thing out. Thanks!

I had a zoo gue for the longest time and was really happy with it. Honestly its the BEST Tpu case. Quality, protection and great price. The Diztronics had nothing compared to the zoogue. I had the all.
I use Urban Armor gear for S3, and i'm happy with it, I got a feeling the phone cant be damaged at all, and the power/volume buttons work great with it (very important for me). I highly recommend it.

I'll second and third the ZooGue. Perfect combination of grippiness yet slippery enough to slide in and out of a pants pocket easily.

Me too. Have been using it for 6 months with the extended battery. Still look and feel very good. Love the case.
Living in Florida, I go to beaches and love fishing, so I wanted a case that could survive water, sand and accidental drops. Ended up getting the lifeproof case even though it is pricey...about $80. However, I love that it is a a pretty small case compared to other life proofs like otterbox
I have 2 brand new Otterbox Defender series warranty replacements for sale, a Grey on white and Black on black with clip holsters for sale. Looking to sell both for cheap in a bundle. Shoot me a PM if your interested.
