[THEME] N4 ParanoidAndroid 3.0 1% Battery Theme (No Flashing Needed) - Nexus 4 Themes and Apps

This thread was originally posted over on the Galaxy Nexus forums (linked in my sig), which is the device I have. A user (Kick-Ass Joe) tried the theme on his Nexus 4 and said it works perfectly fine, and I don't see any reason it wouldn't, as long as you're running Paranoid Android 3.0 (should work with other 4.2.x PA versions too). Once we found that it worked on his phone, he suggested you guys here might be interested. I don't have a Nexus 4 to test on, however, so please only test new versions if you're confident you can recover from any issues you may encounter. Please also let me know if you have any issues.
OK, many of you are like me and have been looking for 1% battery increments on the amazing Paranoid Android ROM. The devs have been working so hard on making the rest of the ROM great for us that they just haven't had a chance to add battery %. So I've made a theme for just that purpose! I know you can install one of thousands of themes out there that add battery %, but I have always been partial to the stock look of ICS and JB, so my theme will only add battery percent icons, nothing more. It applies via the built-in theme manager, so no flashing required! Just download the theme you want from the attachments below and install/apply like always. Also, please swing by this thread and hit the thanks button on the OP, ATTACK. It's his icon pack that has made most of these (maybe all) possible, given my rather limited photoshop skills. He OK'd the use of the icons, but I'd like to give him "something" back.
Thanks!
I've got 14 themes now.

Disclaimers/Warnings:
*This is my first attempt at theming, but it has been running perfectly on my own Paranoid GNex for several days now, and another member (ben.nesheim) was kind enough to test as well. He has had no problems since applying the first theme Saturday night. At this point there are quite a few users with no issues. However, if for some reason you run into problems (themes won't apply, phone dies, ROM borked, dragons flying out of the charging port, etc... ), I am not responsible. I will help you however I can, though. I honestly can't think of anything this theme could do to your phone anyway, but you never know.
*MAKE A BACKUP! I know that sounds silly for a theme, but since this is my first try, I suggest you have a backup just in case. Again, there are two phones so far that have had no problems, but that doesn't mean they'll all work perfectly. So far I've had a good bit of downloads and comments in the Galaxy Nexus thread, and I think it's safe to say its stable. Still, make a backup just in case, especially since this is on a Nexus 4, which I can't test on....
*The theme works in all standard UI modes, (phone, phablet, various tablet) but I can't test every configuration out there. If you have issues let me know and I'll see if I can fix it.
*You will most likely get the "This theme is missing assets for your screen size" message, but hit apply anyway. Almost every theme I've ever seen throws this message, but it doesn't affect anything in these themes.
*It should work on each version of PA that comes out, but there is a chance something will change to break it. I'm really not sure. I'll test when each version comes out, until there's no more demand for this theme.
Thanks for looking, and if anybody has any issues or requests, feel free to let me know!! Enjoy!

Sweet
Been waiting for this. Works well, except when PA changes status bar colours, the numbers in the stock icon disappear. The numbers or thin battery works best if you have per app colours set.
However the battery meter fills up to full in the set colour as you can see in attachement. Anyway, not huge issues, thanks for this.

I hadn't noticed that before, I guess because I don't use the per-app colors. I will try and figure out why the numbers disappear, because to me that is unacceptable. Since none of the others do it, it must have to do with those particular icons.
Thanks for letting me know!!

Thanks, much appreciated! Will try this out tonight

works well for me. Cheers.

Seems not working
I just tried on my nexus 4 circle and stock but nothing change about the battery icone.
I have Paranoid 3.00 and Go Launcher.

I haven't tried all but the "full circle" version works great!!! running 'per app' colors and it changes fine, no numbers disappearing or anything LOVE the work!
i have everything i want on my phone with your theme and the following setup
-Rom: ParanoidAndroid 3.00 - (Feb 11 205950_krait)) | PIE
-Kernel: franco.Kernel r72
:highfive:

Never mind it's work, i did a wipe dalvin cache and it's ok

I'm glad you like it! I think the color issue is only with icons like the stock and thin batteries, because they both have multiple colors and they all get changed to the PA color, making it unreadable. I'm still trying to figure out what I can do to fix it.

Didn't work for me 4.2.2 14 Feb buld PA

Great work, saved me the hassle of flashing. It works perfect on the latest build 14-FEB, I use the stock battery with numbers but I think the numbers are a bit larger than usual.
Not being picky but that's just what I thought

Somebody else mentioned an issue where it wasn't working, but clearing dalvik cache fixed it. Not sure why that's happening, but its apparently only on the N4. Nobody in the gnex has reported problems. I also don't think we have 4.2.2 yet, but my work schedule has been preventing me from keeping up really well. If you want to try clearing dalvik, let me know if it works.
Also, which one did you try?

I actually think they're a little big, too. My next priority is trying to get the icons to work with per-app coloring, but if the battery % still isn't built into PA by then I'll see if I can work on that size. Won't be hard, just time consuming. I know I saw a battery icon contest on the PA site, so I think it won't be much longer until they add it.

Lool worked now thx.My bad I didn't changed t system theme

OK, I'm glad it's working with 4.2.2. I think most of the problems so far have been fixable, and to be honest, this is a really simple theme so there shouldn't be any reason it won't work with any version of 4.2 PA, maybe any 4.2.x ROM period. And I was on Tapatalk so I didn't see the sig, but I thought a while after my post that maybe your info was in the sig. I kinda wish Tapatalk would add the forum signatures in, instead of separate signatures........ Oh well, seems like they're more interested in sticking ads in........
I don't think I'll be able to fix the per app color issue on the stock icons, but the thin batteries I think are fixable. I think the pa colors work by changing any part of the icon that currently has a color value to the new color. That means the white percentages, blue filled in part of the battery and grey non-filled part of the battery all get changed to the same color. I really don't know any way to make the battery percents visible while keeping the battery behind it. I'm pretty sure any theme that doesn't have colors "stacked" on top of each other should be good. I'm still working on fixing the thin batteries, though........
Edit: I don't if that's right on the per app colors, either. I just realized the signal and wifi icons still color correctly. I'll keep working on it........
Lastly, I added this to the thread in the GNex forums and didn't get a lot of response (only 7 downloads), but I'll try it here and see if you guys like it. It is a combo theme that, when on stock or phablet UI's, will show the full circle battery, but on any tablet UI shows the CM thin (blue) battery. I did that because the circle battery can be difficult to read on tablet UI, but looks really good in stock. I may need to do something different with phablet too, but I want to see if anybody uses this first. I honestly won't use it myself, because how often does anybody really change UI modes? But it was easy to make, so I thought I'd try it to see if it works, and then share it. Let me know if any of you like it or want one with different icon sets!

Hey thanks for these apk files. I own a nexus 7 tab and these Apks work for me. I'm using pa 3.0.

I'm glad you like it! I've thought about posting them there too, but just haven't tested it yet. I use CM10.1 on my Nexus 7. I'll put them up there tomorrow. I'll also put that theme up you asked for. Shouldn't take me long to make. I'm pretty sure that battery is in the pack of icons I have, but if not I'll find it in 1% levels. I know I've seen theme recently.

[Theme] Mr.Inc_Theme_CM-DS-6.1.0 (Stable and some nightlies) [12-24-2010]

Amazing work CM and team!
With the help of Firerat's scripts, (Custom MTD Partitions, and All-In-One) I feel comfortable enough with CM-6.0.0-DS to play with the nightlies. I do not like the built-in apps2sd. Too slow and too much room for disaster.
I've replaced a lot of "borrowed" icons and such with my own graphics. My new status icons do require you use a dark(er) status bar than the stock white. By now most of you know where to find the Notification bar changes. I did include, for my own comfort, MMS and Gmail apks from the google apps tiny add-on. I only made a couple of changes to those to replace some notification icons.
9/8/2010: Fixed the download links. Sorry Google changed things around and I wasn't paying attention.
9/12/2010: I couldn't resist. Such good things were being said about the third 9/9 nightly I just had to flash it. Since I'm not playing the nightly game regularly now, I decided to Theme it for my enjoyment. So far battery life is good and it's a quick ROM.
10/22/2010: Updated for Nightly #213... I've updated a lot more of the notification icons. I'm working on changing the color of the new dropdown power manager. I couldn't get a screen shot of the "USB In Use" image. This includes APKs for Email, Gmail, and Vendor. Sorry if you don't use them, I do.
10-22-2010 Part Deu: Updated for nightly #215.
10-24-2010: Updated for nightly #219
10-26-2010: Updated for nightly #222
10-28-2010: Updated for RC1. Swapped the USB Connected graphics. Makes a little more sense.
12-14-2010: Updated for CM-6.1.0 DS Stable. I have updated a lot of the graphics to color. Some have just been colorized. Others are full color icons. It still works best with a black or dark notification bar. That can be set with the Cyanogenmod Settings. There are still some google applications here. I do this primarily for me so if you don't want the google apps you will need to remove them yourself. I haven't figured out how to incorporate the wallpaper into the CMWallpapers.apk. For now you will have to download and apply it yourself. (gee aren't I helpful?)
12-24-2010: Updated for Nightly #285. Lots of colorized notifications and menu items.

Changes to the nightlies mean changes to the APKs. If you flash an older theme over a new nightly you change the APKs back to when the theme was created. Some big changes have been made lately. From, I think, 218 to 219 there was the new notification dropdown power widget. Really nice. The graphics for that are all in the framework-res.apk. Flash and old theme over that and you miss it. So, when a new nightly comes out I like, I update it with my graphics.
A new RC1 is suppose to drop tonight... I'll probably do an update for that and leave it alone for a while. It gets old doing this almost every night.

I downloaded MrInc_Theme_cm-6.1.0-ds-rc1.zip and followed your instructions on flashing it.
It flashed and booted fine but the only thing it replace was the icons.
Literally nothing else changed. Any suggestions?

It is a theme not the whole ROM. That is pretty much what it does is replace the stock graphics with my colorized icons. To change the notification bar colors you have to have the full Cyanogen ROM. It is available in the G1 Android Development forum. CM610RC1
Well yes I know this. I have 6.1RC1 installed...
Again I followed your instructions to the T and it looks nothing like the images you posted.
Is it ONLY the icons? If so where can I get the rest of the images that are advertised on your first post.

Well the wallpaper is the last link on the OP. The rest is either widgets or apps I have installed. The clock with weather is Beautiful Widgets. The audio widget is Audio Widgets Pro with Wood theme. Some of the apps are pay-per-view so I would never include them in my theme. Other than that it is all there.

Mine too.....
This ROM looks really nice. I like what you did with the dialpad, pull down icons and the dock w/o borders. I think I'm going to try it out!
Cool brotha, love the style and the icons. I think im going to run this thing for a few and see how she goes. I bet this will run awesome with go launcher. Like what i see so far so again, thanks for the new rom!
Downloading now. I'm liking the look of this one.
Thanks for sharing your personal ROM.
Well, just about have to try this now looking forward to it, looks good
edit: back in cwm to reflash, first go 'round wouldn't boot. went through the bootanimation(which is nice) but then just appeared to shut off. this time round i realize the bootanimation doesn't repeat, so the first flash needs a good bit of time to build dalvik etc. dont do a battery pull for a while
got to lockscreen now and have bootloops, unresponsive screen. gonna give another wipe and flash.

Hey thanks! If you're using tw launcher click the app icon, click menu, click edit (then click switch or OK in the pop up), then drag your icon you want onto the bottom tray, then click menu and then click save... I've done the Gmail icon before but Gmail gets update so much the update would over write the icon... if you use the supplied adw launcher you can download icon packs and use whatever icons u like... fyi

[ROM][06-01-12]AOSP+ V2.2|ICS 4.0.3|Source Built-Nice Mods|See what the + is about!

AOSP+
ROM has been fully tested now and ready to go.
This is a port of my Nexus S ROM to Galaxy Nexus CDMA. You can check HERE to see what users have said about ROM on the Nexus S.
I do not have Galaxy Nexus so a few people just tested on IRC and it is ready to go. Bear with me as some of the status bar widgets are not fully built yet and as other functions are built for GNex over the next few days. Some settings in AOSP+ Tweaks will not work on GNex and will have replacement functions for them soon.
ROM:
Neapolitan flavor ICS 4.03 with Stock Kernel.
Built and compiled from AOSP.
Bits from CM and some of my own are included.
This is a totally base ROM with very few modifications added to it once it was done compiling. Does not contain any Google services out of the box. You must add GApps, which can be found below. Your phone will have the most basic Android platform. You can text, surf, talk and do everything else you expect with an Android phone but without any of the Google services.
All additions were imported very carefully as to use only source code that is required and nothing extra. I am trying to keep this as close to stock as possible while adding some useful enhancements.

Anyone...you guys are missing out on a great ROM if I do say so myself
Sorry busy day. Just got to install a little bit ago. So far I think u have pretty nice start here. Wish more of the features worked in asop+ tweaks. Show battery % in status bar does not work. The only other thing as of rite now is it could use a way better kernal. I will post more later after I get some more use out of it. Really love the setup though

v2.2
Thanks! Working very well so far. Seems stable, haven't tested battery life or anything yet (but I'm using a different kernel anyways [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1422956], so battery life might even matter anyways.
EDIT: I noticed the status bar tweak to add the LED flashlight doesn't show up either. No big deal, I don't think it does on other ROMs either.

Thank you for trying ROM.
Use custom kernel to activate more of the AOSP+ Tweaks. Working on BLN replacement for Galaxy Nexus. Will be able to control led flash and color if the hardware allows it. I do not have device so it is hard for me to test so hopefully more will join for the ride

Awesome! I was using this ROM on my Nexus S and loved it! Just bought my Galaxy Nexus yesterday and knew I would be able to use this on it as well. Downloading now and will give it a shot. I'll let you know if I find any bugs.
Any suggestions on a kernel to use with this for the best battery life?

No ideas on kernel, you would be a good person to help me test since you been using it on the Nexus S. Besides the BLN settings is everything else running the same?
Thanks!
I'm running on both nexus's Franco's kernel on galaxy nexus and matrix on nexus s and so far its amazing on both. The only bugs I've found so far are the minor ones known related to the toggle buttons. Don't know if your aware but I donated a couple hours ago. Thanks and keep up the amazing work. Only has my galaxy nexus a few hours so much more testing but so far its just as smooth as it is on nexus s

Feel free to email or add me to google talk. My email is the same as my user name here, just add @google.com

The stock animation is in framework so if you place a bootanimation.zip file in media folder it will be the new boot animation.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks. This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode. This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually. Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course. Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on. This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size. You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to. You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot. You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode. Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself. This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.

If you have an issue and you want to call our attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread and Cyanogenmods aswell (its our base) for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.

How to set the workspace mode Version 1.96
How to change an apps Layout and size
20120810v1.9.8alpha
Project butter recents in tabUI (2/2)
Quick access hybrid properties by longpressing a recent app
More refined hybrid algorithm to reveal more layout containers
TabletUI toggles
All recent cm merges (Trebuchet, googles 4.1.1 r4 with a whole bunch of fixes for memory leaks, etc)
Areoevans Kernel V12 included, No Boot.img
Coming from Sense with Kernel 3 you are going to need to flash a CM10 and boot and then reboot into recovery to install
Navbar enabled
Disabled hardware buttons and lights Warning if you turn auro brightness off the hardware buttons turn on.

Breakthrough: We can finally target the actual layout containers inside the apk. If an app brings only phoneUI, you see it right away as you only have one UI option. If it brings ten, you will be able to pick each one of em. We're finally away from this Phone/Phab/Tab nonsense.
Total Hybrid engine revamp, alot less clutter, many bugfixes, apps wont make jumps when you load them up because their actual size is calculated by the engine.
Panel is still growing. It brings new options and new preferences that can even change android system settings.

Finally hardware accelerated recents in TabUI, as fluid as ever. The ugly gradient is gone aswell
Paranoid got its own dir in /system/etc/paranoid - pad.prop is not properties.conf
A clean backup properties file is shipped, you can make a full reset in the panel in case you lost it with all the settings you made
Force option can be activated in the panel, good for widget scaling
The DPI sliders in the panel read min/max props from properties.conf, define them as you like
TabUI Recents are back to a bigger size, this is temporary, i'll look for ways to port the phone implementation as project butter skipped the tabUI code
CM fixed alot of features again, we included them all

Trebuchet extras: 3x4 widgets, speed dial menu button, ... and some weird rocket button which im sure will be very useful to most of you
Pad.prop revamp, new preferences that should pretty much nail it. Im sorry but this trashes your old settings again, do not attempt to restore them unless you do it in a text editor
A warning: if you need to scale keyboards, do close their hosts first (that is, if you have the keyboard running in chrome, close chrome, then attempt to change the size). Otherwise you run into caching problems. Also not that some keyboards use fixed layouts and others dont. Should one of your keyboards not scale, just leave it at PhoneUI/DPI and be happy about those that do scale.
Not Working

Woot glad to see this up and running, great job my friend!

softkeys are broken this build though 1.5A is more than enough though, if it wasn't for JB i'd be completely satisfied with it as my DD forever.
I'm still waiting on an initial boot.. Strange.. It's not working.. Grrr.. Softkeys broke has been reported though.. I'm sure OP will fix soon..

What ROM you are you coming from. I did make a note in OP about flashing CM10 ROM and boot and then wipe and flash this ROM. I may revert back to the CM10 kernel and have people flash aeroevans kernel next. Kernel related

----------------------------------------------------
Hi everyone.
This is a notice to everyone that BrassDroid is being discontinued. We had a lot of fun doing it and we have learned a lot about the Android system.
However we are currently working on a few other projects including some games for android and maybe, before long, iPhone that is taking up the majority of our time.
When JellyBean 4.2 was released we felt there was only little we could do to improve the ROM... Maybe add the quick link bar at the top (as well as leaving Google's extra Notification area), we were also considering implementing the dual screen from the S3 and maybe an optional unity like menu that could be swiped from the left side (Think that may also on the S3). But as mentioned before, we just don't have the time these days. :crying:
We'd like to thank everyone who helped us through this immense learning curve. We were complete noobs to the programming scene (building a website was our limit) when we started this and cannot thank you all enough for being guinea pigs We have really enjoyed doing this project and appreciate the time you've spent testing our ROM's (especially our friends across the pond who were willing to try our blind built LTE ones).
Once again thank you to everyone who helped us and tested for us, we couldn't have done it without you
Maybe our paths will cross again soon
-----------------------------------------------------------
We have recently found ourselves being caught up in numerous projects and are not quite able to keep up the regular updates as you may have noticed. We just want to take this opportunity to say that they will likely become slightly farther apart. I'd like to think that at the most they will be every two weeks. Hopefully more regular though to keep in-line with the current CM changes (however we are slowly building our own ROM from the AOSP that we hope to use instead of CM... however this is a long time away yet)
We'd like thank everyone for their support during the development of this ROM and hope you continue to enjoy it (If you have )
A BrassFeet ROM for Galaxy Nexus.
Here we have BrassDroid, a collaboration between PjFlo and DeeToTheVee.
This is a CM10 Kang [All props to them, they always do a fantastic job!],
compiled with the brilliant and energy efficient, Trinity Kernel by, Morfic.
We have found this to be a great combination of power and battery life.
This ROM also includes a few build.prop tweaks as well and some shaven fat.
The Toro version is being built BLIND. We do not have the device so unfortunately, you are our testers!
However we have had confirmation from XDA user Baby_Phil who is already using the ROM (B3), that everything is working and that it is stable.
(Thanks for having confidence in us Baby_Phil!!)
Stable CM10 Source
Choice of Trinity or Franco Kernel.
Trebuchet.
Ability to move clock to the centre. (Temporarily removed - This is due to notification clashing with the clock)
NavBar mods, Menu, Search etc.
Extra browser controls.
Improved scrolling.
Improved dithering.
Google apps included!
Added smart stay app for keeping the screen on when looking at it (Disabled by default)
All new Android 4.2 features!
New Android camera with fully functional PhotoSphere!
New Android gesture keyboard (YOU NEED TO ENABLE THIS YOURSELF!!!!)
Go to settings - language and input and set the keyboard to Android Keyboard. (NOT THE AOSP ONE!!)
BrassDroid RC3 - 07/11/2012
PLEASE READ!!!!
THERE WILL BE A PERIOD ON FIRST BOOT WHERE THE PHONE WILL RESTART AND ON SECOND BOOT ATTEMPT THE SCREEN WILL GO BLACK. THE SCREEN GOING BLACK IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE BOOTANIMATION DOES NOT RUN LONG ENOUGH. BE PATIENT IT WILL BOOT!
WE WILL MAKE A NEW ONE BEFORE LONG BUT WE'RE NOT VISUAL DESIGNERS SO DON'T EXPECT TO BE BLOWN AWAY!
We strongly recommend a full wipe before installing this update as it will be replacing the camera app. It requires the Gallery2 apk to be removed so that GalleryGoogle can be installed. (Although PJflo did a dirty flash and all was fine.)
If you are comfortable with doing this manually then a dirty flash should be fine. If you're unsure then just do a wipe and then install the new update.
BrassDroid-TR-RC3 - goo.im
Trinity Kernel (for battery performance)
BrassDroid-FR-RC3 - goo.im
Franco Kernel (for speed)
BrassDroid RC2.1 - 22/10/2012
BrassDroid-TR-RC2.1 - goo.im - DISABLED DUE TO CORRUPTED FILE AND RELEASE OF RC3!!
Trinity Kernel (for battery performance)
BrassDroid-FR-RC2.1 - goo.im
Franco Kernel (for speed)
There is also a GSM version available over in the Galaxy Nexus GSM forums -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801849
Wipe data+cache and flash .zip with CWM.
If you are running BrassDroid already feel free to 'dirty' flash.
If you are coming from another CM10 build; remove any screen customisations (gamma etc.) before wiping and flashing this rom!
What works:
Everything!
If anything is not right for you, please let us know.
Future updates coming soon!
Please let us know your thoughts below, and enjoy BrassDroid!
Changelog:
RC3 07/11/2012
Latest feature listing (kind of a changelog but not quite)
Disabled centre clock for now as there has been some issues compiling with the latest source. It will hopefully be back though - main issue is that notifications are overlapping the time and this looks pretty ugly so... we'll see.
Disabled our default notification colour due to some reported issues, once again will be back soon.
Profiles added again (will, in final build, be disabled by default though)
Status bar power widget now has with most common widgets
Nav bar mods:
Ability to add and remove buttons from the navbar
(height adjustment will come in final build)
New stopwatch and countdown added to desk clock
Enabled development by default and some options within it
loads of the other general CM additions - far too many to name all of them
Choice of Trinity or Franco Kernel.
Disabled and removed CM updater to stop any updates to a CM build. We will remove all references to any Cyanogen features for stable. (Not to discredit them of course, just to stop conflicts)
Almost latest gapps. (Some like Chrome and Earth will need to be installed manually by you)
New cyanogen file manager - removed es file explorer
New data folder for apps some users may wish to uninstall such as facebook, instagram, franco updater etc etc
Added smart stay app for keeping the screen on when looking at it (Disabled by default)
New camera and gallery app including photosphere
New keyboard from Android 4.2 with gesture features
RC2 changes missed... mainly CM updates

Flashed ok. Initial boot took a little longer then other jb builds i have tried.
I did a full wipe before installing.
System, cache, data and dalvik cache
Two cameras
Two galleries.
One camera works but i did not try to take a pic yet, other one failed to connect.
Both galleries wouldn't show my pics, wiping the cache and dalvik cache resolved the issue but still have two galleries and still have two cameras.
I have read about this issue, I believe it involved gapps some how but i could be wrong.
Checked the md5 before hand and they match so it wasn't a bad download.
Other then that very smooth but I hope you guys look into the two cameras and two galleries. In the mean time I'll be testing the basic features for now. I did download over 4g, I'll try WiFi later today.
Time for bed.
I'll report back.

Hi thanks for trying the rom and for the feedback!
We are aware of the duplicate gallery, it was a schoolboy error and we will be uploading a new build today with this issue hopefully resolved + latest CM source + a couple of minor updates of our own. It was basically we forgot to remove gallery2 when we added GoogleGallery - Duh!
Anywho, we are compiling now and hope to have it up later today. The gsm build we have just done is much faster to boot and, so far, has had no bugs

Try wiping data and davlik cache from advanced menu.. also maybe try a different link.
Please try what PJflo has suggested
We have had reports that the B3 build works but you will need to remove the /system/app/Gallery2 to remove the duplicate camera.
Unfortunately we cannot test this rom ourselves as we do not have this phone and live in the UK
However we will look into what could be causing this (if the full wipe doesn't work) and hope to have a working build asap

IF you're happy to, switch back to B3 for now and we'll try our best to get another fully functional version running for you asap.
Good to hear it has a good battery life too
