[Q] Can't access bootloader and recovery after using AAHK (Orange light flashing) - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all dears...
I'm new user in XDA, please help me solve my problem
Thanks in advance...
I searched every where about this problem but my problem is a little different!
I faced a problem while root and s-off my desire hd with advance ace hack kit.
Everything was good until the step that pc couldn't find qualcomm cdma technologies msm driver!
So device makes 3 vibrates and goes to a black screen and orange light flashs! It doesn't go to boot loader, recovery , etc.
If press power + vol- it makes 5 vibrates and green light turns on!!
When connect to charger it goes to recovery but screen goes black immediately!
I put away device, after 10 minutes turn it on. BUT strangely it goes to bootloader by power + vol- without problem!!!
I had ViperDHD ROM in my sd card so I flash it. BUT after installation, phone restarts and again it makes 3 vibrates and goes to a black screen and orange light flashs!
I remove battery, after 30 seconds put it again and device started with ViperDHD ROM without problem!!!!!
NOW my problem is every time I reboot phone it makes 3 vibrates and goes to a black screen and I should remove battery and .....
Sometimes it goes to boot loader some times not!! No stable situation!

I just used aahk to root and unlock my inspire. Did you try going to their irc channel for help?

That sounds like a hardware issue and not a hack kit problem. Actually, Hack Kit does not requiere qualcomm driver in any of the processes.

htc evo 4g vibrates 5 times no sd card or usb connection

hello, my htc evo was working fine, but after flashing some roms i got it missed up
to start off, my phone turns on stays on for exactly 2 mins and 15 secs, then screen turns off, phone vibrates 5 times the green led light start flashing then nothing, the only way to to turn the phone back again is to pull the battery out
now when i connect my phone to the computer, sd card isnt detected however i manged to fix it by fowling this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=695243
now whenver i connect my phone to the computer it asks for qualcomm drivers thats what i see under device manager 3 yellow arrows with qualcomm something something, the guide above mentions how to fix it, but i need root and i cant root the phone atm because i cant get ADB working, phone displays qualcomm drivers
i was rooted with CWM recovery, but atm i have updated my phone to the latest ruu using fastboot mode drivers (holding the volume key and power), and im back to stuck with no root or custom recovery hoping that will fix the problem but its still there.
so is there any way that i can fix my phone, like when the phone turns on it works great but after 2 mins screen turns black and vibrates 5 times.
please let me know if anyone knows a solution to fix this.
thanks

Wait .... coffee yes... not busy
1. Let your phone go dead (Power and volume up +) or lights reset on and screen on to off phone > ok, pess power not run phone > ok. (can take about 3 to 10 hours, could be more depending on your battery level).
2. Test recharge your phone - You should get the normal charging red light always on (not ok red light on 10s off /on but red light on 10s off /on wait phone dead for time ok ). Wait Test 1-2 minute > no recharging.
3. Run Flashtool roms 2.3.7 - 0.72 > check next > ok > to need press capble.
4. Press capble with phone recharing on Computer (PC-Noterbook)
5. Wait 15-20 minute auto flash roms finish > ok > run phone and recharing. Phone run nomal.
Good jod.

You got a softbrick device now. Go read the 'recovery from softbrick steps' thread in general forum.

Thank you for replying to my issue. I looked at the steps that you were talking about "softbrick recovery steps"
All those steps need the phone eather on or in recovery mode etc. As of right now my Ion is charging and as soon as it gets 10-15 min charge it turns on and starts looping shows the sony logo then restarts and again........ it does not power on from the botton it only turns on by itself, the botton is fine because the only way i can turn the phone off is by holding the vor+ and power btn, i tryed puting the phone into flashmode by holding the vol- and pluging it to pc. Thank you
When it starts looping like that you can try to get it to flash mode. Hold the power and volume up just long enough for it to shut off and as soon as it does let go of power and hold volume down. You should then be able to get it to flash mode.
solved the issue

HTC Incredible won't boot, orange light blinks

My HTC Incredible hasn't been used for a while, so when I tried to use it, it wouldn't turn on. The orange blinking light blinks and it vibrates once if I press the power button, but then it stops doing anything. If I charge it long enough the light turns green but then if I press the power button, it vibrates once and stops blinking. Do I need a new battery?
What was the last thing you did to the phone? Did you recently flash something? Try booting into fastboot: power volume down, if it boots to that your savable, but not even the HTC screen shows up when turning on?

My phone hasn't been used for a long time, was stock after restoring to factory settings when last used. (used to be rooted with a custom ROM) Worked fine when last used, only stopped now. Can't boot into fastboot or recovery. Screen stays black.

the only time I've had this problem it was because I flashed an incompatible hboot... had to drop a PB31IMG.zip on sd card and shoot in the dark to install it. If you haven't done anything with the Hboot, then IDK. try dropping Hboot .92, 1.02, or 1.07 on sd card as PB31IMG.zip... when you boot, hold down vol - and power on. be patient, because you can't see....wait about 30 seconds and push vol+ to install the parsed hboot and then wait about 30 seconds more and push vol+ to reboot..hold down the vol- to hopefullly get into a visible bootloader. Other than that...maybe looking at a hardware problem...open up all the motherboard covers and see if anything is fried...Good luck! and be gentle with the ribbons if you tear it down!

[Q] HTC ONE M8 (International Version) Black Screen | Vibrating by Powerbutto

http://youtu.be/CPCVecKSPAA
After I rebooted my Phone the screen got black. I am not able to boot up the phone. If I'm using the Power+VolUP and hold for a while the Phone will turn on, but will continue with the black screen.
The keystroke Power+VolDOWN will do nothing.
Furtermore the Phone is in kind of a bootloop, every 3 Minutes and 35 seconds (3'35'', 0:03:35) with the same result, a blackscreen after the first bootlogo.
Moreover if I am pressing one of the Buttons the Phone starts vibrating like tss tss [pause for 4 seconds] tss tss [pause for 4 seconds] tss tss and so on.
Also the Phone is detected on my PC with a sound and recognized in the management console as "HTC MTP Device".
I am not able to reboot in recovery, bootloader by pressing the buttons or with adb nor fastboot.
Furter infomations about the device:
Newest FW: 1.54.401.5
Rooted: Yes (SuerSU 1.94)
S-OFF: Yes (Firewater)
CR: Yes (TWRP 2.7.0.4-m8_ul_ca)
[UPDATE]
NOW good News! I am able to boot into Bootloader after the Battery ran emty of the many reboots.
But bad news at all, I flashed the ROM 1.54.401.5 again, and did a factory reset, but the blackscreen problem still exists !!
So problem isn't fixed at all !!
[UPDATE FINAL]
I fixed this by restoring a TWRP Backup.

I had a similar thing yesterday - if looking at the screen in bright light, can you see the HTC logo? - That happened with me, and I held the power button in for one minute (seems forever, but needs to be done), and it kicked itself back to life...
Hope it helps

I have the same problem and just wondering how long or how many reboots did it take you to drain the battery, and at what percentage was the phone at when you started?
thanks! :highfive:

HTX One X, Frozen, No Bootloader, No Power Off... suggestions ?

HI guys,
Hoping you guys can help me. I have a HTC One X I picked up 2nd hand (apparently wouldn't charge). When I received it, I cleaned out the USB port (little bit of fluff) and plugged it into the charger... no light (expected).. I left it on and shortly after, a solid red light appeared..
After a little while on charge, the phone turned itself on but stayed on the 'HTC' splash screen and went no further. I tried powering it off completely so it would charge without draining battery or slowing the charge because the phone was on.. but every-time I tried turning it off (either holding Power button for several seconds until screen went black... or holding Vol Down + Power button for 10sec as some suggested) the phone would just reboot back to the HTC logo splash screen and stay there.
Eventually I got the screen off (not sure how) and continued to charge, then it came back on again... :/
I tried to boot into the 'Bootloader' to Factory Reset etc.. but I am unable to do so. Every-time I try, the phone would just reset back to the HTC screen.. even if I kept the Vol Down + Power button held down, the phone would just loop to that HTC screen...
As I type this, the phone is sitting, plugged in, Red LED Light Solid lit but phone on (stuck on HTC screen)... just wondering if anyone has any tips ?
Is it possible to reset the phone via ADB if I can't get into the Bootloader ?
Thanks in advance..
UPDATE: Somehow I managed to boot into the Bootloader, and by the looks of it, the previous owner rooted the phone as it have CWM v5.8.4.0 installed. Wiping Cashe, data, factory reset, Dalvick cache etc.. still no change, sits on the HTC splash screen.
i did notice in the Bootloader though, it said the battery was too low to flash .. so I guess I have to leave it on charge for longer to try flash the phone again (maybe previous owner borked the ROM installation or something?)... unless is there anything else I can do? Maybe with ADB ?
Mods, can you please delete this thread.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
