If all apps force close maybe you accidentally deleted dalvik files or "orphan" data. Do you have a backup of your ROM?

Odp: [Q] Titanium Backup Caused All App Force Close
Sometimes it happens to couple of users of Kv5. There is quite a number of posts about it throughout the forums.
Cause unknown for now. It's something with mounting system partition?

accidentally,i had same problem with triadiaureus even i'm using different rom. don't know what caused this problem exactly. i was installed tb,try to backup one of my apps, then i try to reboot my phone. and voilla, my android.phone; launcher; whatsapp; etc force-closed
i can't detect whether this problem caused by the problem with mounting system or anything else, cause when i got this error,i simply do nandroid restore..
ROM: jellycream v2

I had this problem before, I think it was because you accidently tried to restore a system app from another rom. Try restoring one by one, not through batch.

anyone figured out whats causing this? its just started happening to me

I noticed if I don't reboot but power off I dont get this problem, anybody else rebooting instead of powering off then on? Maybe that's why the ace 2 doesnt have an option to reboot in power menu in stock roms only power off, was everybody using reboot from either TB or another app?

skyraider 3.5 Force close all aps

Rebooted the Dinc and then as all apps started all had to force close.
The only thing that fixed this was to revert back to a recovery backup.
Anyone else seen this happen?
Did you restore apps by using Titanium Backup, and also restore data?
If you did then that's your problem, you're not suppose to restore data of the apps
Also try going into Rom manager and running "fix permission." That fixed the problem for me.

Nope did not restore data... And my DINC was running find for as long as 3.5 has been out. Just suddenly started this.
It's good now I had a backup...

Problem I was not able to do anything with the DINC. Anything your started did a force close.
So I just reboot into recovery wiped everything and loaded an backup that was just created a few weeks ago.

why you want to restore system app?
IMHO, it can crash your rom

Maybe I have to explain more thoroughly about my problem
I love converting my favorite apps like my Launcher, Whatsapp, Root Explorer, Dropbox, etc to system apps from Titanium Backup. So every time I flash a new ROM I have to install it back from Titanium Backup again, but in stock ROM, every app restored reboot my phone once.. And it never happen on CM ROM. So I'm curious and ended up posting this thread
Hope mastah Phiexz can answer my question

[Q] Xperia S kept install unwanted apps after reboot

Hi,
I have a rooted xperia s running 6.1.A.2.45
For some reason, my phone kept install unwanted apps like officesuite, wisepilot, and mcafee everytime I reboot my phone.
Is there anyway I can stop this?
use titanium backup then uninstall those apps
That's actually what I do every time after I restart my phone. I guess the question is, can I stop this nonstop reboot installation process ?

Try freeze them instead if u can't uninstall.
Or uninstall via applications
These apps comes with sony firmware, its weird that it revived after uninstallation.
try factory reset then do it again.
Your only rebooting? Not kernel flashing?

try to delete source apk from /etc/product/application ......

apps suddenly force closing

Hi guys
I rebooted my note 2 and somehow found myself on the setup screen(the one which we run on firstboot).
After that, many apps stared force closing.
Im running stock rom with kernel note2core asylum.'
Please help
If you have titanium backup, try "fix permissions".
I think it's also in your recovery too from memory.
Edit: I just looked and couldn't find it in titanium...I could have sworn that it was there before. I use TWRP and it's definitely there.

[Q] swiftkey restore via Tib in 4.3

Hey, first I want to ask if its just me, rom related or a common issue.
Using slim rom. I restored apps via tib and all is fine except swiftkey that informed me about failed download of language pack which should be backed up tho..since in 4.2.2 i havnt any problem once. So it asked me to redownload it but my personal data pack was gone so I tried to restore only data and suddenly swiftkey stopped working. Like completely spammed me with ''stopped working'' until I deleted it.
Then all apps were crashing also. Couldnt even reboot. Did it twice with same effect.
Tbh my question is does swiftkey work after restore for anyone?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
SwiftKey has been having server issues with language pack downloads for a few days.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4
yes working for me...
however when i was on slim it gave me language download error . but on cm10.2 it doesn't give any errors..
sent from my sexy Nexy
I think its a titanium backup issue, i noticed some apps cause titanium to hang during restore when trying to restore user apps on CM10.2, nexus update checker app will just hang tibu in an instant an ruin the whole restore process.
