Vibe P1 Dead

Had screen error before so i cannot unlock phone to retrieve photos and videos. Tried flashing but basically bricked the unit since im a noob. Now it wont turn on, I have "unrecognized usb device" error when plugged to PC. How can I revive the unit and is the data still retrievable?
Yes,you can try the following steps but I cannot give you full gurantee that it will work. Anyways trying is better than nothing.
Download files using this link: https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0BzeT4pCC5KBxcGVadWtZV0ExZXM
Download drivers using this link: http://www.mediafire.com/?bhm18trn6imms5y
Now follow the steps
Step 1: Download Lenovo P1 Stock ROM Firmware zip file in your PC and extract it. (It includes Scatter files, SP Flash Tool, and Drivers).
Step 2: Download Lenovo USB Drivers and install it PC.
Step 3: Go to extracted folder “extracted in Step 1” > SP flash tool > you will see Flash-Tool.exe > Open this to Launch setup.
Step 4: One setup is launched Click on > Download Tab > Scatter Loading. Now locate scatter firmware file (Present firmware folder extracted in Step 1) and load it.
Step 5: Connect your device with PC via data cable Now click on Download Button / Upgrade Button (having sign of Green Arrow) to begin flash Flashing.
Step 6: Wait Until process complete. In end of Successful Flash Lenovo P1 Stock ROM Firmware, a Green dot / ring will appears.
Maybe your mobile will become working but you will not recover any data
ALL THE BEST
Regards milkyway3
Leave it to discharge itself (takes up to 3-4 days, on my experience) then use the steps given above. It "ressurected" my unit which was able to power up but the screen wouldn't turn on.
