Stuck on boot logo

Hello,
First of all sorry for my English, I had a Kindle fire since few days. I try to root it to put ICS on it. That's the only one reason for what I bought it .
I tryed to follow this video ( ww w. youtube. com/watch?v=mwMHIkX20YI ) but I was stuck on the kindle fire boot screen for many minutes after the downloading step on the step number 2. The download was completed but the window always say " waiting for device ". After a while I unpluged it and now I'm stuck on the boot screen and KFU say " offline " for the status.
Right now I'm trying to drain down the battery but can you give me a solution for my problem .
Thanks.
Draining your battery is one of the worst things you can do a this point.
Read this
It will give you some insight as to what's going on.
Thanks for your fast response, I already read all of this topic yeasterday before starting the rooting. I think that I must use ABD to type command line to change my boot mode to a normal boot mode but I really don't know how to do this and I can't find a topic about that.
Sorry for my stupid question but I'm little confusing about all of this.

It's much more likely that you will have to use fastboot to change bootmodes. The 3rd post in the thread soupmagnet referred you to will have both the adb and fastboot commands to change bootmodes.
In fact I really don't understand where I need to put the command line .
And wich one put .
Shift + right click your KFU "tools" folder and select "Open Command Window Here"
[Edit:] You might need to make sure your drivers are in order as well...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23747671&postcount=2
I think all the ****ing problem come because the drivers are not installed well.
Sometimes my windows recognize the kindle as " unknown " peripheric and sometimes it didn't recognize it yet.
I try to re install the drivers but it just take half a second to re install and it's seem that's a fake installation.
The problem is that I have the kindle as " unkonw " in device manager but when I try to install the driver with the explication in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=20421225&postcount=222 , I didn't find the android driver...
Up .
Up as in you got it fixed?

No I have always the same problem .

It's really complicated for me to install Linux because I already have bootcamp with Windows on my MacBook, I think I will go to Best Buy and ask for another Kindle Fire because this one don't want start up...
WTF?! You have a Mac? Why are you even messing with Windows in the first place? Get breakdroid and fix it easily.
BreakDroid doesn't work at all it always be on offline status, I have a MacBook pro with Lion and Windows 8.
If there is a solution with BreakDroid I can't find it, that's starting drive me crazy .
Update : I got the error " device not found " what ever I try on BreakDroid.
Update 2 : Wao I just try with now hope the kindlewater in the DMG and I'm now on the TWRP. I don't now whats happened but...
Great...will it let you mount your sdcard?
I have rooted my Kindle, after I have boot with normal mode, put the zip on sd card and flash it with success .
Thanks .

I posted this in another thread earlier today, but it applies just as well in your situation.

Troubleshooting Kindle Fire problems without having access to it can be difficult at times. Not only does one have to try and figure out the root of the problem, but one also has to try and disseminate what is actually happening from what is perceived to be happening by the person who needs the help. It only adds to the confusion when that person jumps into another thread in the middle of someone else's problem.
If you have a problem, and you've searched the forums as best as you can, and you've read all the guides available, yet you still can't find an answer to your problem, start a new thread. In that thread, describe what you understand and what you don't understand about your problem, how your problem started, what steps you have taken to try and solve your problem along with any errors you received (exactly as you received them), and any additional problems that arose as a result. Be sure to include important information like everything the device does from the moment you press the power button to turn it on. Also, describe in detail, the boot logo and recovery screens, specifically their overall appearance (color is key).

Your Kindle has detected a problem and must clear app storage. The recovery process will erase some applications and data from your device. Apps from the appstore are stored in the cloud and can be reinstalled later.

5 days of going nuts you solved problem in 5 minutes thanks again
TWRP has a USB mounting option.
You should be able to just plug the Fire into your PC with a USB cable, mount it as a USB storage device, copy a new ROM over, and install it.

[Q] Stuck on Kindle Fire and FireFireFire (blue&white) Logo

Please help! I was trying to flash an ICS rom on my kindle fire 2. I rooted it a few days ago and flashed JB rom by following the instructions here..
Everything was working fine untill i flashed Gede ICS rom. Now whenever i press the power button the device keeps repeating the logos
First the Kindle Fire one and then the Blue and White Kindle Fire logo.. The later one stays for only a second.
Before, i could press the power buttong by pushing it during that logo but that doesn't seem to work now...
If only i can enter recovery mod i have powerpoints45's ROM resting in a folder in the internal SD card..
EDIT: When i plug the device with the PC using a usb cable (the normal one) nothing happens.. it doesn't show up in the devices list and neither do i hear any kind of sound..

You mean a factory cable! No but i'll get it tomorrow if that's what i need to fix it.. can it be fixed? or is it bricked for good? =(
yeah they can usually fix 95 percent of kindle fire bricks, im pretty sure you'll be able to fix your kindle with it. and yes factory/fastboot cable are on in the same.
Thanks i need those kind of words to keep my hope up.... what do i have to do after i get the cable? coz its not being recognized by windows..
No sound! No yellow mark! no nothing.. it's like i didn't attach it at all...
I don't pretend to be an expert on this, hopefully someone with a little more knowledge than me will chime in, but the factory cable when automatically start your kindle fire in fastboot mode, it will be able to be read by your pc, the only trouble you might run in is with drivers, but it's nothing that can't be fixed. Then i would go over to hashcode's rom and follow step by step his instructions (fastboot method) for installing bootloader and then cm10.1. But like i said, someone with more information than me will hopefully post on here

I installed the drivers but i'm not sure whether they are the right ones coz they don't seem to work now.. i'm running windows 7 x64 and it used to detect the device before it got bricked but now it doesn't do anything..
I searched all over the market today but can't seem to find a factory cable is it okay if i try to do the home made Fastboot cable thing? or should i order one online instead..

Why don't you think the drivers are working and homemade fast boot cables are okay but if there not done right they just want work or cut out half way though my fast boot cable it great just make it your self or get a Scorpion cable
I don't hear the sound the window makes when you connect something to the PC.. other than that there is no device recognized in the device manager.. so i figured there might be something wrong with the drivers too now.. i'm trying to make one if i can't i'll be getting the scorpion one you mentioned.. thanks
buy them from here, he makes the best

I had the same problem: I bricked it when I wiped the data (and the rom I was going to load). I tried Windows and Mac, to no avail. Then I used my Linux machine.
Get an Ubuntu Live CD, and check out this tutorial; it worked like a dream:
http://desire.giesecke.tk/tutorial-adb-on-xubuntu/?wpmp_switcher=desktop
I was able to adb sideload the Rom and Gapps very easily via the terminal and TWRP on the KF2 - with a regular / stock micro USB cable.
Be sure to use 1949 and 0x1949 as the Kindle vendor IDs in the tutorial.

[Q] Please help me with my Xperia S

I should start introducing myself, well as you can understand from the title above, I think i am the world's biggest noob.
I've got a Sony Xperia S (Lt26i), untill yesterday I was waiting for the JB firmware from Sony to come, but (and I don't really know why) I wanted to try the ParanoidAndroid Mod (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098129)...
Well I could say that everything was going right, i could unlock the bootloader and so on... But then I made a really BIG mistake, i forgot to send the firmware to the SD before installing the new boot.ini.
So now I've got a Phone which starts with the CMW bootLoader, but I don't have any file in the (inner) SD.
Can anyone help me? Please...
How can i put the firmware file into the phone now?
Please help me...
(I forgot to do the 2nd step in this list... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2098129)
I hope someone will help me to fix it.
Thanks for reading/helping..
Go to CWM > mount and storage > mount mass USB storage
Connect your phone to PC and put the rom zip into SD card.
Hope this helps
I did the way that you told me, but the pc doesn't recognize it as Lt26I but just as Unknown Device...
My pc runs Windows8 (x64)... should I try to reinstall the dirvers of my device?

It should just recognize it as a USB-disk... Like one of those key hangers. If it doesn't, there are other solutions though.
You could push the .zip with ADB to your phone. You probably just used fastboot to unlock your bootloader so the drivers are already set up, it works in the same way. Take a look at this post of how to do this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667929
There's an older version of opensemc rom that was fastboot installed. Install that and it's kernel via fastboot. Get your phone booting again. Then start over for changing the rom

Help Troubleshooting bricked Kindle Fire 1st Gen Please Advice

Hey guys my name is Vito, even though this is my first post I have been reading Xda developers forums for a while. More than a year ago I bricked my first generation Kindle Fire and ever since been trying to unbrick it. These days i have a new version of kindle fire but from time to time i get back into trying to fix the old tablet without succeeding. I've read many threads on this forum in regards to Kindle Fire trouble shooting and used the search button dozens of times so i hope i don't repeat an existing threads. I am posting here as my last resort to try to trouble shoot the problem and get some experienced advice to hopefully fix the tablet because i failed trying to fix it on my own.
My kindle fire 1st gen has been rooted, it has FireFireFire bootloader v1.4a and working TWRP v2.2.2.1 also I got factory cable and otg cable, and USB debugging Disabled, No ROM,
How I bricked it: One day i was playing with an operating system tuning application and after pressing auto tune kindle fire either froze or shut down and when i power it back on it would just freeze on "booting, with blue kindle fire logo". That's where i made a few mistakes i believe, instead of researching xda developers forum thoroughly i went into TWRP and wiped cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, and unfortunately system (ROM) however i did not wiped the external storage so that still there. Also USB debugging was disabled on my kindle fire at the time i bricked the device.
What I tried to fix it: I tried to install and re install many different kindle fire drivers for windows on at least 4 different computers and operating systems ( XP, WIN7, WIN8 ) but my kindle fire would not be detected and adb would not work, also tried going trough guides on installing Android SDK and getting ADB working but now i know that i wont be able to get ADB working without having USB debugging enabled.
So i ended up with only one option Fastboot. I tried installing Ubuntu on one of the computers with soupkit but linux would not recognize kindle fire being connected, it would always say waiting for device, same thing would be if i log on to ubuntu from flash drive boot.
Also when i type # lsusb command in ubuntu command prompt it gives me all usb ports and connected devices but kindle fire does not get detected in any mode while my new kindle fire does get detected in ubuntu once connected.
When i get into fastboot mode and i type # fastboot getvar product every time i get < waiting for device >.
So that's about it, all the above i tried and re tried hoping to get it going but im either doomed or im just doing something wrong or missing something all the way which is possible. I would really appreciate anyone's help and feedback on this post and would really love to just try to figure this thing out.
Thank you.
Vito,
I am new and far from an expert, however, I just discovered if you have TWRP, there is an option to mount the sdcard space and copy files. Not sure about the version you have but give it a try:
- Connect USB to PC
- Boot on TWRP
- Mount sdcard
- copy ROM (make sure you use one that works with your TWRP version and whatever other software is there)
- install ROM
Like I said, far from expert, but I believe all you need is a ROM.
pokeys fire kit should sort it. im back in 2 hours. i can help you then

Hey Lovejoy777, thanks for the help, I will send you PM.
it does not mount it? Or it does not show on Windows? If it is the Windows part, you probably need the drivers. I used Kindle Fire Utility v0.9.9.zip.
This also helped me after rooting my device.
