Ok so i solved the issue myself. If there is anyone else that fubared the NV files i am copying all the factory settings to if all else fails i can have a refrence to go back to. If wanted i can try and post the settings that will fix my issue.

Suggestion Needed

My problem is I can't access QPST, after I made a change to my ppp config...the weird part is, Odin works, and I can reset the phone in download mode. But when it comes back on, it keeps swithing into airplane mode...also, its giving an error message.TI have all the proper drivers installed...and the phone works...I just cant think of away to get back into my DIAG MODE so I can do programing. I have another post with more detailed info....I'm reposting here because I cant post in the development section yet.....
So...what error message is it giving you? What rom are you on? What change did you make to your ppp config? And are you using the proper modem for your build?
rom is the 2.1 stock..i didnt get a chance to change that yet...In ppp config, I changed my NAI Tethered..from boost to blank..then i changed the user ID to blank.... and I copied the HA AND AAA's from profile 0 & 1 to the epic from th Tp2....when I wrote to the phone it reboted.....as far as the modem I'm not sure but I think is odin..i downlaoded on it and tired to restore everything to stock but that doesnt work...
the message error says Sorry! The process com.android. phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
ummmm try a hard reset, or data restore... see if that resets the information that you changed, cuz the information you deleted and changed is the sprint programming so you might not have signal for data, atleast when i do my toroubleshooting i see the HA's and user name and stuff
I dont think the issue is with the ppp config..Its the NV items I wrote to the phone in cdma workshop...when the phone reset, and came back on it stopped reading the port. the phone can connect in pda but you can not acess cdma or qpst from there..I cant change back the NV items

[Q] 3g off 1x on can you do this?

I have my Evo flashed to revol. I want to know where or what i can edit to make my phone only use 1x mobile data. When i turn off my WIFI i get the 3G icon for like 5 min then it finally turns to 1x and i finally get connections. What i want is to change it so it doesn't even look for 3G it just goes straight to 1x. Someone please help me find where this is located in the system. There has to be a file somewhere that has this in setting it. I have been looking for days now and cant find the answer. I have googled and searched on here and have found notta. PLEASE HELP
EDIT: problem solved in post 5
If you are running a EPST enabled rom. Just use ##3282# then EVDO change the preferred method to CDMA instead of automatic. You of course need to use edit and your MSL.
Under mobile networks on aosp you can force 2g only which is 1x or you can use 2g+3g or 3g only etc on cm7 or decks you cab use the notification toggle and set the mobile network mode to 2g only and off and when you enable mobile networks you will only use 1x and not evdo
We are legion, for we are many
Thanks guys for your help
Ok so if any one out there wants to force 1X data here is how.
1: Download a copy of QPST ( http://www.fileserve.com/file/xaJaa5z )
2: Download a copy of the newest PRL ( http://cid-eabe29f3770d8d15.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public/PRLs )
3: install QPST
4: Using RL Editor in QPST open the PRL file
5: Under System Records find any that don't have 95(A,B)/1x as the system type and delete them.
6: Change the Preferred Roaming List ID to what ever you want it to be
7: Save the file
8: Copy it to your phones SD card
9: Use This method to update your PRL.
10: Reboot and you are done
REMEMBER to only delete the ones that don't have 95(A,B)/1x as the system type. Also don't change anything else as i don't know what might happen. If you run across any issues just update your prl back to the original.
Also i am not responsible if you screw up your phone. You are doing this at YOU OWN RISK.
Here is the newest PRL already edited for you: http://www.box.com/s/6s4bkj8cbv3bud8c7a47
This is the one i am using right now so it does work. You will know for sure it did by going to settings, about phone, network, and look at mobile network type. It should say CDMA 1xRTT. If it does then you are all set. If not then you didn't delete them all.

LTE Config APK

Hey everyone,
Back when I purchased my device I did not have a LTE option available for mobile data. It was only available via the 'secret menu 3485#*855#'.
Recently I managed to get it to work and have it as an option (via editing /system/build.prop), but there still is an issue: my selection will not save. This means that when I reboot my phone, it will go back again to GSM.
So I figured, maybe the LTEConfigs.apk has something to do with it. That and the .dex thingy.
I deleted them a while back while trying a different solution, and I'm wondering what would happen if I bring em back?
So basically, what do the files do?
Thanks.

Just a quick question. Why were you trying to change LTE On/Off in the Engineering Screen? Were you only trying to enable LTE bands or did you have a problem with your data connection? If you were having data problems before downloading the Field Test app, did you know there are some know data issues with CM13. Did you lose your LTE connection?
Also, what gave you the idea to download QPST & QDXM? Do you have prior experience with these applications?
Also, since you have CM13 installed on your 5x, did you try and restore a backup in TWRP that you have saved to see if it corrected your problem?
Which carrier are you with?

Hello,
thank you for your answare, and sorry for my english.
Before problem phone was new and all was worked, but i tryed make some changes, because i searching solution for changng band and editing priority for diferrent LTE band.
Now my problem with no connection on lte is solve, i write zeros to partition modem1 and modem2 from modem filesystem and modem itself after restart phone reset factory setting, but i dont now where modem took IMEI, because i think IMEI is save on this partition...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But i still dont understed why, after reboot changes on line ID 06828 and ID 06829 comming back originaly number .
Bestest solution for me wold be if i find in NV parameter band priority according signal strenght. Or some application (IN Phone) for disabling and enabling all LTE band without computer.
My most-used bands is : 800,1800,2600Mhz

Shortcut Master Lite in the Play Store will allow you to access the LTE Engineering to set band priority. Open the app and click the 3-dot menu In the top right corner. Click on "secret code explorer" and allow the list to populate. You will be looking for a numbered code like "3282” or "33284". Click on each one, select explore from the menu and look thru each selection. The one you will be looking for will say something like Sprint LTE bands editor. You can enable bands 25, 26 & 41 and set band priority. When asked to enter your MSL, enter 000000 and tap verify. You can figure the app out. It takes a little time to get used to how the app works. Good luck and let me know if you need any more help.
P.S. I dont know why you would start changing NV values without any experience using QPST & QDXM. You can make a mistake very easily. Be careful when making changes. I would start fresh by fastboot flashing the factory images, bootloader and radio and start over. Just my opinion.
What carrier are you with and where are you located?

Why i start Edit without experience ? It is easy, because i need get experience
Band 25,26 And 41 is not important for me.
I need disable and enable and set priority for 800 1800 and 2600mhz, quickly from the phone...
My location is czech republic and switzerland.

General Modem always crashing, losing voice/data

Modem always crashes especially when outside. As long as I am at home on wifi, it seems to work, it crashes but not a lot (sometimes even during the night). But going outside and the phone switching to cell/wifi/cell/wifi/etc make it crashes rapidly.
Easy to see because I am losing voice/data. Phone does not reboot.
My F3 is stock, stock rom, never been unlocked or anything. It did this last year already. I am using the latest MIUI 14.0.4.0(TKHMIXM). I'm in Canada with PublicMobile.
error is
modem subsystem failure reason: ssr:MP:rflte_dm_rx.c:8779:rflte_dm_rxagc_config_update_switchpoints_and_lna_offsets_in_d

Any way to send ramdump to xiaomi?
Problem seems to be
"External
Modem sending a Fatal Error Interrupt, with a error that Rx Calibration
Data (basically a instruction for what modem have to do with a Band
Receive Commands) is missing, and External Modem calling a "kill itself"
mode because of it can't recover from it.Βasically you go to
countryside, ur band switches from 20 to 3+7+20 and modem crashes"

Would disabling specific bands fix this? Is so, what ones?
In another thread it seems someone tried it and it changes nothing :-/
Dial *#*#663368378#*#* to access modem test tools suite, hopefully something there can tell you more about what is going wrong
It seems I cannot access "MODEM test tools" (aka Rueban / MTB) app on official ROMs without authorized Mi Account according to some search. It only gives me a black screen.
Well that's mildly frustrating. Sometimes theres modem debug options in city (dial *#*#6484#*#*) tucked away in the 3 dot overflow menu in the top right...
Unfortunately there's no such option here :-(
I have a lot of ramdump about modem crash, always the same error. I tried to email poco support but gmail reports back that the server refused connection or something...
