[Q] Cannot boot phone, vibrates 7 times, no LED

Hey,
I'm worried that my phone is bricked, but would like to hear if there are some options of reviving my phone without sending it to repairs.
I was in ClockworkMod Recovery as I wanted to update my ROM from oxygen-v.2.0-RC7 to the latest version.
I had wiped all data and dalvik cache and was in the middle of installing the .zip when my battery popped out (don't ask how).
Now my phone won't boot up at all. When connected to a charger it vibrates 7 times, but the LED is not on and I cannot boot it, even when trying Power+Vol. button.
Am I screwed? Or is there a way to save it?
Nevermind! It suddenly decided to boot up into Recovery on one of my attempts and I managed to restore my old settings.
It seems it just needed some time.

Stuck on Google Screen after JB Update

Hi,
I've attempted the JB update
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1737899..
fastboot flash boot boot.img etc.. which said all was well..
But now find that my phone will not boot up, doesn't get past the Google and unlock screen.
I've tried all combinations of volume buttons, I can get to the fasboot menu where I can choose either Recovery Mode, Power Off, Start or Restart bootloader.
None of these appear to do anything, recovery goes to the google a screen followed by an Android on it's back with an exclamation mark over it.. then goes to the Google and unlocked icon screen and stays there...
I fear my phone is bricked... Please help..

1.) Your phone is far from bricked at all. You have access to the boot loader (i.e. the screen with the options). The recovery you're seeing is stock recovery. All you need to do is go into boot loader and fastboot flash recovername (CWM) and you will have your custom recovery back to wipe data and reinstall a rom or restore a nandroid backup
Mine is doing the same thing, weird thing is, it was working since yesterday on jellybean, it just randomly froze this morning and and now won't boot..
im currently at work so i don't have admin rights to do a fastboot flash..
any idea why it would randomly stop working when i havn't flashed anything on it besides the jb rom?
Sorted..
Thanks for the comments.. yeah i was over-reacting a bit there..
I downloaded the Galaxy Nexus Toolkit, got a stock rom form gopogle, flashed it.. back to normal, well, it will be after i restore the CWM backup i took.. phew..
Thanks again
Ian.
Still stuck
I'm also stuck in the same situation(google with the unlock screen). I fear I'm a little more stuck. I also can see the recovery/restartbootloader screen. However, everything I try still comes back to that same google screen and gets hung up. Need some help!
this has happened twice today and i think it from using volume+

Stuck on boot screen even after factory reset

Hi,
My Android (Samsung Galaxy Fame Gt S6810P) stuck on start up boot screen. This is a rooted device with custom rom (xperia) was working properly. Recently I installed a custom boot animation. At beginning boot animation was playing continuously and after 2-3 restarts it was ok. I didn't restart after that. Now I restarted it yesterday, It stuck on again and even after 10 times restarts did not help. So I boot into recovery mode and tried everything including factory reset but no hope. When rebooting after factory reset it was showing some error like "no root access".
And when I reboot again stuck!! Please help me out...
Wrong forum, this is I9100 Q&A; your device has its own Q&A here. I've asked mods to move your thread, sit tight until they do.
did you have nandroid backup if yes use it..else try flashing stock firmware via odin
hey..
u can also use samsung kies for ..this issue.....

[Q] Problems with Galaxy Nexus please help :o

The Gnex became very slow and there were apps and processes constantly crashing.
Did a factory reset, and the phone got bricked. The screen was just black, it didn't show a sign of life, not even the google logo.
Then I tried to unbrick it with OMAP flash or something, then it booted, showed the google logo, and then the nexus logo.
Then it crashed and rebooted.
I tried reflashing the stock rom using odin.
That didn't do a thing.
Next, I installed TWRP recovery and installed Cyanogenmod and Gapps.
And its still in bootloop.
I don't know what to do now, please help me!!
Is it still fixable??
Thanks in advance

"Did a factory reset, and the phone got bricked. The screen was just black, it didn't show a sign of life, not even the google logo." - Why did you think it was "bricked"? Did the battery die? Also, why did you use OMAPflash before trying to recover the device with fastboot/factory images (or even odin)?
That said...
Are you 100% sure it flashed TWRP? Did you wipe data/factory reset before flashing CM/Gapps?
Anyways... boot to fastboot (device turned off, hold down both vol keys+power until you see the android flying, big "START" letters at the top, small letters on the lower left corner), then flash factory images. Don't use any toolkits, learn fastboot if you have too.
Wel,I thought the phone was bricked because it wouldn't boot up properly. I tried omap flash because it was the first thing I found about fixing a bricked Samsung. I know the bith volume Keys + power but the phone wouldn't do anything. It didn't even boot in fastboot.

Factory restore from bootloop or hung device without pc.

A few weeks ago, my phone rebooted and it was stuck rebooting to the att logo. I was on the road and was unable to use my phone. In frustration I tried to do a factory reset from the recovery mode.
It wiped system as its supposed to, but I was still stuck booting up to the logo screen and freezing there.
How to factory reset completely : Warning! You will lose all apps and data on phone as if you were reflashing with odin.
Boot into recovery mode (volume up + home button +power) select apply update from adb. Once started, just put your phone down and wait. It will take a little while. Then it will time out and completely wipe and restore your phone to factory.
Proceed to setup your phone as new.
