Hello, I have a i8610p NFC and German DBT rom, install the Leak MB4 JB, I downgrade to GB with Russian firmware 3 files (Pit, PDA, CSC). I'm no NFC i8610 GB, install a rom but odin i8610p German DBT gives me failure Modem Custom Binary and lost the NFC I can not install a rom i8610p with NFC. I can do?

You have to find right GB ROM to downgrade. You need to get i8160P GB rom with PIT file included to successfully downgrade. For i8160 (without NFC) there was only one available at Sammobile.
I think there is no firmware with 3 files for i8610p, I can take the pit of the Russian, the German firm of i8610p and the German csc preroot?

Your rom is one of from gulf country and there is no update still
You can flash any country rom, and you will get OTA when there is update for country which you have flashed.

well i try before flashing a diffrent rom but my csc will remain the same and when connecting to kies it say your device does not support trough kies
on sammobile all firmwares comes just one file PDA
how can i flash full firmware ?
PDA files comes with csc packed inside and in some cases this happens it doesn't flash csc
You may retry flashing same rom with csc tab instead of pda if csc doesn't apply correctly.
Otherwise you can reflash rom when there is update available for your csc.

The new update is not available yet in my country so I downloaded the new firmware from the internet it was in french language but now I am using custome 4.1.2 because I noticed too much battery drain in 4.1.2 over the previous 4.1.1

that is same stock ROM one available on sammobile OR from thread on XDA (first line on my signature) which you are using to flash with PDA in Odin
Hi team,
Is there a way to install a rom made for i8160 into my i8160p?
I have firmware I8160PXXMF1. For example I want to instal Kyrillos v8 rom or codina unofficial Cyanogen mod 10.1
They both require basebasn I8160XXMF1 and when I try to install them on my phone it won't let me.
If I force setup I8160XXMF1 on my phone will I be able? or is it a question of hardware?
If you install a gt-i8160 fw on P version you'll hardbrick your phone.
And yes there is a tutorial in generel section just search it. It's called How to install custom roms on gt-i8160p or so !

As for the thread, I found it but it doesn't seem to work....I get a product.prop error or something....
Just flash the custom rom on your stock rom.. No need to flash i8160 fw.. Im using ace 2 nfc version too, now my phone running cm10.1.. Just copy the tee folder for flash custom rom on i8160p..

Oh, i forget.. Before flash custom rom, after copy tee folder, change your device model on build.prop from i8160P to i8160.. U can change your model by changing ro.product.model, ro.model.name, ro.product.device to i8160..

Yes, I know, but I could not install the ROM without the modem, I read that the error is because of Kies, I closed processes, tried everything, but could not

My father have a GT-N7100. He bought it in France with the operator Orange.
The problem is that he's tired of the 4.1.2 Orange's rom and want to remove it to the pure stock Samsung Rom.
Can someone explain me how to install the latest Samsung Rom for the French GN2? I think the region's code is XEF or something like that...

Go to sammobile.com and choose any stock rom you prefer for your n7100... but if you like flashing custom roms and all, I'l not recommend 4.3 because it is not downgradable and also sets 'knox warranty void' counter to one.. (which cant be reset as of today)

I search on various Android website and the last Samsung ROM for my country is the N7100XXDME6_N7100OXADME2_XEF but I can't find this... Seems that all the links for this ROM were Hotfile's one and as Hotfile is down...
Flash dr.ketans prerooted firmware odexed dmg1.. it has dev-host link.. and it dsnt matter if you flash another country's firmware..

Yes it is possible,
First you will have to downgrade to any version before VALL4, you can do this by flashing the stock firmwares via pc odin.
Firmwares can be found in development forums, look for teeshx or MrRobinsons thread.
Once you are on an older firmware then follow instructions from this post to unlock your phone.
