Case-mate Phantom [Review] - Galaxy S III Accessories

Just got my case through today and am very impressed. The quality is nice and the feel of the screen protector that is built in to the case I'd really nice. Smooth. I have dropped it from pocket height and ear height and it just laughed at it.
My review:
Feel: 5/5
Size: 4/5
Functions: 3/5
Weight: 3/5
Grip: 5/5
For me the case is perfect. It feels really smooth with loads of grip, has enough weight to know if it drops out of your pocket. It feels like a thick Galaxy Note II but fits into your hand perfectly. The buttons I find to be quite hard to push, but... it's a tough case so it's to be expected.
Over-All I would rate this case 8/10. Does the job, buttons could be easier to push, just a little easier, and the build in screen-protector is a really good idea and feels absolutely fantastic.
I would recommend this to people that don't want their phone to break if they drop it.
Got mine off Amazon for £28.99
Worth the money.

Not bad. Lol @ so many Galaxy Nexus ads.
Looks great. Would that fit the LTE Nexus with the extended battery?

unfortunatly i cant very it however I can tell you that my gsm with the extended battery does fit..and I wouldt see a fitment problem as the inner part of the case is silicone so it can expand a little bit. To be safe I would email Beyond cell just in case
Nice looking case. Been using mine without the case as of late.

Otterbox Commuter white Review

I got my otter-box commuter case in white today finally. Its pretty decent, but the only problems I've had with it is that the buttons are really hard to press, and it takes a bit to get it on and off, which is a problem when you want to switch batteries. I made a video reviewing the case, if you guys want to check it out here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLs84TCAK74
Hope this helps you guys deciding on which case to pick..
My wife's been bugging me about picking her up that case in that color but after watching you struggle I'm a little worried about probably having to listen to her complain about it all day long.

Yeah it's difficult to press down the side buttons. I have to use my fingernails instead of the pads of my fingertips
hah yeah i use my fingernails to press down on it too, but it still takes too much effort than it should. The volume rockers have gotten easier to press now. I'm going to keep it on for a couple more days and see if it gets easier.

Tempered Glass screen protectors?

Has anyone tried one of these screen protectors? I've already cracked my glass once, and I'm not about to crack it again after replacing it.

Have a friend that has that for their S4, looks pretty nice and does its job. Moshi also sells something similar that's a few bucks less.

I've had one on my phone for a few weeks and for the most part am smitten with it. I can't imagine not having it on my phone. I do feel the need to point out a couple of shortcomings though.
1. I get a rainbow effect in the center of the screen but rarely notice it unless I'm looking for it but I really wish it wasn't there.
2. There are little dots on the bottom of the glass, I am almost completely oblivious to them but some people can't stand them so I thought I should mention them.
If/when something happens to this protector I'll surely purchase another.

Planning on getting a nexus 5 in a few weeks and wanted to know if anyone had tried this case, and what you thought of it. Couldn't find a YouTube review even, but It looks nice.

I've been using it for a few days now and I'm still not sure if I'll keep it. It is a great case just a wee bit more bulky than anticipated. But I suppose I should have expected it to be since I recently jumped from an iPhone to a real phone.

Actually I have this case and love it very much , I add on the extra protection when going out and love that it also protects my camera lense .

How easy can you get the cover off the camera? I saw somewhere it was kind of difficult?

Quite easily its made of a rubber like material but offers good protection I believe.

Ok have the phone in hand. Very snappy. I really like the front of the phone and screen. Definitely hate the glass back. Feels like smooth hollow cheap plastic. Looks crappy too. The back looks like an unfinished prototype. Wont see or feel it after I get a case though.

Another little dislike it is very easy to completely muffle the single bottom firing speaker, a case might also help this. This phone needs a surround type mod like the note 4 has . Something I really do like the curved screen makes it very comfortable to scroll on the curved edge.
Sent from my SM-G928P using Tapatalk
Ya the speaker thing happened from time to time with my s6. Just got my plus yesterday. Idk how i feel yet. Kinda having 2nd thoughts about the note . It is nice up front though
Sent from my SM-G928P using XDA Free mobile app
I had same thoughts but it always came back to I only had the spen out about ten times on my note 3 + 4 combined. The edges are growing on me even as just a novelty. Development might be a little bit slower here though .
