We give love and much respect to Cyanogenmod. The AOSP scene would not exist as it does today without them. We implement some of their branches to support legacy devices and features that users have demanded. The resources we use include, but are not limited to:
Features:
Code:
Phone: for T9 dialer support
MMS
T-Mobile Theme Engine
Branches:
Code:
libhardware, libhardware_legacy, system/core, system/netd, /system/vold, frameworks/native, frameworks/av, isolated frameworks/base cherry-picks,
and various qualcomm support related branches. We also use some qualcomm related branches from CodeAurora Forum.

thanks guys!
this is a great team, been running their roms for 1.5 yr on my xoom
ps: gapps was updated

franco.Kernel + Eos 3 was my combination of choice on my Nexus 7... and now I can do a similar combination on the Nexus 10 Thanks!

Solarnz, BRD, guys I'm so glad to see you here. I've been using your ROM seems like forever on my Xoom. She was good but had to be replaced.
Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk HD

I now have EOS on all of my Nexus devices.
One suggestion:
When the nav bar buttons are on the left, there needs to be a little more space between them. They're too close together.

running smooth for a day no reboots everything seems to be working well

I noticed there are a lot of Nav bar customizations. Does this ROM include an option for tabletUI?

you can hide and have a smaller bottom bar(i like)

No full tablet UI, but you can move the buttons to the left, which is a perfect balance in my opinion. The buttons are a little too close together on the Manta ROM, though.
Really loving this ROM. Going to test out HDMI and Bluetooth tonight with the MUPEN64 and sixaxis app.

Damn, the gesture navigation is something I've always wanted in Android, I'm giving this a shot soon.

The old tablet ui is depricated and won't be found in Eos. I know some guys still run it but I'm not gonna clobber SystemUI to make it work. But be on the lookout for for enhancements that make the tablet experience with Google's ui better.

Did anything besides launcher change between the last two builds??
I updated, got the Glass... LOVE the look... but it also seems to have given my USB OTG support some wonky behaviour. Rather than having both mounted side-by-side, it completely swaps out my Internal storage for the USB storage...
I don't remember from the third build... but I'll swap 'em out and give it a go...
EDIT:
Never mind... I must have been thinking of another ROM I'd tried... It does the same thing on 3. It ends up dumping the internal storage when you plug in OTG storage...

Does this use the stock kernal or a custom one? It's just incredibly smooth.

you will find eos roms to be smooth almost always. in the past 1+ yrs on my xoom i only remember reverting to a older nightly 2 times.
hopefully brd will do some of his magic with the kernel, he did some sweet stuff.

Ya but that was a different time. The Xoom kernel needed much love. And there was no one else to do it. These new devices have awesome kernel devs.

These guys are amazing. Hands down. They are miracle workers. And the fact that they don't charge for their work/skill still blows my mind.
Thank you all again and again for all you do.

30 minutes with the rom and this is what I have to report so far:
1. Very snappy.
2. Original Rom settings, very polished!
3. Better clock widget.
Bugs:
1. Play Video seems to crash every time.
seems different from other ROMs, gonna flash it now
I'd love the option to be able to reorder the navbar buttons - is this possible?
This is gonna sound Mega noob... but I really want to download this, only thing I need to know is what is the difference between the toro and maguro download links? Both are 1.01?

Apologies. About ten second before you wrote this I figured it out as I swore I had seen it somewhere.
Looking forward to trying this
Great ROM. Has the necessary customization (for me) available, smooth, well laid out, obviously a lot of work went into this. One thing I do typically miss when I try out other ROMs however are Quiet Hours +/- Profiles.
Quality ROM, and a more than worthy alternative for fine ROM connoisseurs.
Voltage Control dont work for me!
I use popcorn 8.3

I think it is because of that theme you have installed. Remove it and then check.

No,its definitely ROM bug. With 320dpi it works fine with default and custom theme too. With 240dpi both with bug.Its the same bug as in XenonHD ROM (they have same function for dpi change). For example SlimBean has not this bug when set 240dpi.

Ok I get what you mean.
The thing is that your device is natively set to support 320DPI.
Its another thing that developers like to play around and provide options to set different DPIs. We have too.
But support for DPIs other than the native cant be provided.
is there an option on this ROM to change just the navbar dpi size only like on xenon and cna?

Team EOS never cease to amaze me! Awesome work guys
Xoom development is not dead. Thanks Team EOS!
I'm also submitting a legitimate bug, but I want to know if this is a just me thing - I go to set the clock to 1000/1700 lagfree, and I just can't change anything. I'll select a min freq, and it will just stay at 200. I select a max freq, and it will change it to whatever I set it to (at least it says it does). I select a governor, and it doesnt change. If I check off the set at boot option, it will show the options I just selected as the boot settings, but it doesnt actually apply them.
That said, this is one of the faster JB roms I've used, so it's not too too bad, but still. My xoom's showing it's age, especially next to my Gnex and Nexus 7.
AWESOME! Team EOS, you rock! Way to continue developing for the Xoom! Trying it out now.
Yes!!
Here are some bugs i'm experiencing on 156:
-switching to photosphere camera causes Gallery to stop
-pressing the photosphere button on a photo in the gallery causes Google Play Services to stop
-as stated by BRD previously, the stock keyboard will have problems; it has for me, crashing a lot.
if i run into any more, i'll post them here. Anyone want logcats of these issues? i can post them too
Verhaal nice to see this development going on!

ok the over clocking is working, and can be set in the setting>>EOS settings>>system..Preformace Settings. and you can verify with any thrid part cpu app that the cpu is set to what ever you choose, as for governors the settings is there but yes it stays on interactive, however if you use a thrid party app you can infact change the gov just fine.
or if you are a command line type of guy and want to see for yourself you can do
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq
or
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
to see the current gov

Great Job team. Is the lag do to hardware acceleration loss from the kernel, or just from lack of stock code?
Also is init.d scripting enabled on your Eos4?

First of all, I thanks for this.
One thing I noticed was the lack of an option to sync bookmarks with the stock browser. I found that there was a solution to it.
Looking forward to future updates

Hi all! I am proud to finally release EOS 4.0 nightly builds for our beloved Xperia S!
The whole rom is compiled using Linaro GCC-4.7 and using -O3 optimizations all over!
What is better now, 4.2.2 rom X or teameos?
Performance wise: teameos! definately! We have Linaro all over, and only clean-select and implement features
AOSP is faster than CM-10.1. I won't judge about other roms, but see yourself...
These builds (teameos nightlies) will receive fixes faster than any other 4.2.2 rom! I am close to getting 1080p video recording to work!
The device configuration was build from the ground up, only minimalistic sonyxperiadev configs were used.
Planned features:
Optional PIE control
Custom EOS OC kernel featuring 1.7ghz max clock, 2d/3d adreno220 overclock, 2d gpu scaling
1080p video recording (to be fixed soon!)
Known Bugs:
No 1080p video recording
No FM Radio
HDMI

Damn, again with the signal getting lost bug. Have to reboot a number of times to get it back. :sigh:
Damn it Sony, release those sources already.
No bugs so far. This is f* c king smooth
If coming from OpenSEMC Beta3 do I still need to perform a full wipe?

What do you mean 'Earphone' ?
Headphones work just fine for listening to music.
I think I do not quite understand what your problem is here..
About torch: true, I will investigate this and fix.
For the time being, just download a torch app from google play, this is no 'real' bug, is it?
Probably related to a missing torch implementation though.
Doing some intense testing with the new camera blob from DooM's JB, I think memory allocation issue are fixed, from what I can tell.
Means: no more freezes when taking 12mp pictures.
1080p video recording is a bit more tricky, but should be just a matter of time.
downloading.
stand for whatever rom created by the team which has Rayman :good:
first impress i't good.
but i need to try for a couple day.
New feature for the Xperia S!
We have a new awesome feature especially for Nozomi users in the pipe!
You'll get the ability to toggle the system navigation bar (the one that e.g. the nexus 4 has) and adjust it's size to make it thinner and get more space on the screen!
All the awesome navigation bar features that EOS has (like our very own NX gesture control) are going to be available!
I'll not make any promises here, but it could occur that these features will be integrated in the next nightly already (meaning very soon, the following days) .
Because this is so awesome, I will post two fully-sized screenshots here:
>>> (first one is with normally-sized navbar, second one with mid-sized (selectable via EOS Control Center!))
>>> The theme is Mianogen and the launcher MiHome (try that combo, smooth as silk!)
I need your help:
>>> For an unknown reason, someone seems to have rated this thread 1-star. Since I am unable to see any post with serious complaints which would justify such a harsh move, I kindly ask all people who like my work and want to support me to rate this thread 5-stars, so users are not mislead and the quality of our (Team EOS) work becomes clear. I never asked for donations and will never do, but in this special case, I'd really appreciate support in form of 5-star rating for my thread. Thank you !
i don`t have NAVIGATION option in EOS control center ??
