same result here , i installed , before i installed the kernel , i uninstalled oc daemon , made a back up (to be safe)
then flash , the phone is snappier , but is the top OC is 1188000 .
i also when to edit the parameters of the governors and there are no values there .
sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq the rest is empty
Also the init.d support is gone
hope that helps

[ROM] Cow ROM v7 (Bionic Cow 2)

Version 7 of Cow ROM: Bionic Cow 2.
- For arco68
It's basically an update to Bionic Cow using latest firmware from Sammy - I8150DXLC1. Features:
1) The OC kernel has been rewrote. It should be more stable and graphic score improved.
2) Bionic Scorpion Optimization library. Using NEON instructions for faster memory operations. Learned from arco68 github for ICS.
3) CowPanel 2 - use this util to configure VSYnc on/off. For speed, use VSync off. For smooth, use VSync on + triple buffering. Read more here. You also may configure zRam option here. zRam is off by default. Read more here.
4) Many CPU governors: Default using OnDemandX for best battery; 80% left in 24 hours. Use "Performance" for benchmarking.
5) More RAM - 358Mb available, compare to 351Mb in stock ROM.
6) Using a super light Zeam Launcher. Thanks cloakt for permission to use.
7) Internal / external sd card swap, CRT screen off effect, Low Memory Killer Tweaked, OnDemandX tweaked, Custom Bootup animation and Larger SD Card cache, Voice Search, etc.
8) Based on arco68 GB kernel. Without which, none of this is possible.
Special thanks to arco68, tch9, andynroid and pinkyunki, Murny Umairah, Myrule Anarki, Santos San Martin and Mohd Fazrin Daud from SGW group.
*WARNING*: Don't use OC ROM unless you know what you are doing. The ROM will automatically reset to 1.4ghz - OnDemandX after reboot as a safety precaution. I only set to 1.8ghz OC for short time during Cheat Engine hacks, zip / unzip, benchmark, etc. I always reset back to max 1.4ghz for normal used. I strongly recommend you to set a temperature profile if CPU ever get above 50C you should lower max clock back to 1.4ghz.
So, here is the link:

Part 2: http://www.mediafire.com/?e368mc427y19611
Here is how to install the ROM:
1. Enable recovery.
2. Use 7zip, right click on xxxx.001, extract. It will create the zip file required for flashing. Copy this zip into your phone. (Don't extract xxx.002)
3. Boot into ClockWorkMod / RZRecovery, backup your current ROM using nandroid (just in case).
4. If you are upgrading from my previous ROM;
- BEFORE installing the ROM, Uninstall CowPanel: Setting, Application, Cowpanel, uninstall
- Wipe Dalvik-cache. All your settings and app will remained. Theme will changed though.
5. If you are installing from stock or from other custom ROM, best to wipe everything using CWM, including your USB and external sd card. Reinstall everything from fresh, don't restore anything from Titanium Backup or anything.
Google Map? Missing apk? Original theme? If you want to restore to stock theme, get all the apk here.
Report Problem: If you encounter FC or any problem, please provide logcat so I may trace it:
1. Connect phone to USB
2. adb logcat > log.txt
3. In your phone, reproduce the crash / FC / etc
4. Kill all adb process in your PC
5. Zip and send me the log.txt
Update Radio Firmware
I8150DXLC1 comes with an updated Radio firmware. This should improve voice call quality. Check if you need to update this, go to Check "Setting", "About phone", "Baseband version". If you already have I8150DXLC1 or newer you dont need this. If not, use Odin to flash this. This will only update the Radio firmware, nothing else will change. You can do this before or after install Bionic Cow 2 ROM.
1. Get Odin.
2. Get ancora.ops.
3. Get radio firmware.
4. Boot into "download mode". Connect phone to PC. Start Odin
5. Select OPS file = ancora.ops. Select One Package = radio firmware, check "One package", "Auto reboot", "Protect OPS".
6. Start and wait till it complete.

Antutu 5067 on 1,8GHz !
I really love the theme, very nice!!
Thanks my friend!!
As now, i'm using your Bionic, Cow. Love the green-ish theme, seems smoothly smart!
A few things btw :
1. When booting up, there is still sound of the boot animation. How to disable it?
2. When locking the phone, the transition is somewhat like distortion-type, not like the scale-old-tv in your previous ROM. Is it supposed to be that way or my phone goes wrong?
3. The "3G icon" in status bar alternately goes from small to big and vice versa. Also is this meant to be as such? :/
Apart of those, it is indeed a GREAT and SUPERB ROM.

min speed ? ondemand or ondemandx ?
I must be dumb.
I download xxx.7z.001 and xxx.7z.002.
Right click on 001: extract here puts META-INF, data and system folders and the other files in the folders I am working in. If I right click and extract to GT-I8150-BIONIC it just puts those files in a folder. No sign of a flashable zip.
What am I doing wrong?
Bomoh, an user who doesn't have permission to post in Dev section yet, told me this solution and it's working. Thanks to him!
Extract 001 in a folder > select all the files > right click > 7-zip > add to archive.
In 7-zip window, change "Archive format" option from "7z" to "zip" then click OK.

[Q] Can't Overclock

Hello,
I have some Problem with my Phone. It's currently running Cyanogenmod 7.2 the latest Update. It's a A510e.
So, the Problem, when I want to Overclock my Phone over 600 MHz it will Freeze or Reboot in some Minutes after that. Is there any Problem that can solve it? Maybe another Kernel for CM7.2?
Thanks for your Help.

So..isn't it be able to make a Overclockable Kernel for all WFS Models..or it is just hardcore to code?
U could try dust kernel by einstein.frat but he is banned Ap get the file by another xda member.......it can oc to 865 I use it on 825 and its quite stable but be sure to get v8.8 as it is better and more stable

Well it's the same with computer CPU's, some CPU's can get to 5 Ghz some only to 4Ghz. You'll need a bit of luck.

The thing is (at least in my case) I can't even set the values for CPU - even if I use the option "apply on boot" - when I set the CPU values the phone reboots in few seconds and the values are back to defaults - 600 Mhz.
Today I tried to flash the new WildChild ROM 1.5. (which is already overclocked to 768 Mhz), but I'm stucked at the white HTC screen - I guess it's because of the overclocking because other ROM's work just fine.
So as I take it, I was just unlucky and bought one bad piece and there is no way to solve this?

I have this Problem too. At the moment there is no way to solve it, badly. To use OC Roms you can only Flash the default 600MHz HTC Kernel.
reflashing rom can often fix some issues but most likely a kernel problem
what are you using to set cpu e.g: nofrills etc??
did you wipe dalvik, cache, user data and whatever else is needed for you rom??

Look, I face the same problem. But i can flash HenseMod. HenseMod is an OC rom...and it works...so why shouldn't wildchild.....there has GOT to be some method to get it working on our phones...
be posted on this thread that I've created...maybe someone mighthelp...http://androidforums.com/wildfire-s...27-wfs-cant-over-clock-stuck-boot-screen.html
have you followed these steps exactly how they say??
just flashed it to my A510e and its working fine
Prepare and partition your SDCard. (Folks seem to enjoy a FAT32 primary, a 1 GB ext4 (I use ext2), and a 512MB Linux Swap... in that order.)
Copy the WildChild ROM .zip file to your SDCard. Cool.
Reboot into Recovery mode.
Wipe data/factory reset. (Do it twice, especially if on CWM)
Wipe Dalvik cache. (twice, as above)
Choose "Install zip from SDCard".
(You might have to toggle Signature Verification until it is Disabled)
"Choose zip from SDCard" and select your WildChild ROM .zip file.
(read the splash screen and wait about 2 mins.)
Reboot phone; wait another 2-3 mins.
N.B. Starting with WildChild v1.5, two reboots is now normal and expected during the setup.
When lockscreen appears with your local carrier time, you may unlock phone and start using.
Enjoy! (...and throw a "Thanks" my way! )
I think the problem is that Wildchild is already overclocked to 768 mhz. If you also experience troubles overclocking your CPU in other ROMs try it and let me know if it works for you.
I followed the instructions carefully, tried to flash it several times with both odex and de-odex versions, but the results were the same, it didn't load at all. Just the white HTC screen.

Those tweaks are more like the "Under the bonnet tweaks". You won't see them, because it is internal stuff, thus not visible.

This is the SickleKernel for the HTC One V (primoc and primou). The source code has been modified to support both devices in a unified development environment. To assist in the development, simply checkout the source code, add a feature, test it and push the changes to my gerrit with the included gerrit script in the kernel's root. All changes will be reviewed and tested, and if the code is up to spec, will also be accepted. All contributions are greatly welcome.
The current goal of this kernel is to get the MSMFB from the jb_chocolate branch of CAF to boot fully on this device. Currently the goal of this project is to get past the black screen currently encountered so that we can have proper msm_fb drivers in jellybean and more easily port a 3.4 kernel. The current URL for the work (and booting caf drivers is here NOTE: Booting drivers means booting with a black screen.) We must properly initalize the panel of this device, but as soon as that is accomplished there will not be any problems with jellybean vsync.
Major Changes:
Code:
Add gerrit script to allow others to contribute to kernel code
compiled with cfx 3.8.1 toolchain
Fix Makefile flags so that kernel compiles on 4.8 GCC toolchains
Add google snappy
add -fno-pic flag for some compilers to fix wifi module
fix jb-4.2.2 no booting issue with MSMFB
Add XZ compression
patch to 3.0.67
Fix multitouch issue
Add cflags to optimize the code such as cortex9 and funloop
add primou board files
fix wakelock of bluetooth (caused bad battery life)
add new KGSL drivers for jellybean
fix compile warnings in 3.0.56 for gcc 4.6 (google prebuilt)
patch to 3.0.56
fix bluetooth in kernel
add overclock
fix warnings
Installation guide:
Use this awesome guide by the helpful cybervibin
How to compile:
1) download this tested toolchain
2) get kernel source here (Current branch is "jellybean-4.2")
3) put the toolchain in your $HOME directory
4) be sure your system has all the dependencies to build a kernel (system-devel, gcc, ect)
5) cd to the kernel source
6) issue the command `make ARCH=arm primoc_defconfig` NOTE: If building for gsm, primou_defconfig should be used
7) issue the command `make -j4 ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=`echo "$HOME/prebuilts_gcc_linux-x86_arm_arm-eabi-4.8/bin/arm-eabi`"`
8) grab the kernel from arch/arm/boot/zImage and the modules from drivers/net/wireless/bcmdhd/bcmdhd.ko
9) create a boot.img with either mkbootimg and mkbootfs or android kitchen (Android kitchen is reccomended)
NOTE:
mkbootimg flags:
primoC base is 0x14300000 and ramdisk is 0x15300000
primoU base is 0x13f00000 and ramdisk is 0x14f00000
command line for both is console=ttyHSL0,115200,n8

How about Multi Touch fixes? One thing I noticed about Jelly Bean is that using 2 fingers cancels both touch gestures.
I play Minecraft on my One V, and when playing, I can't because I can barely move due to multi-touch not be liable.
Multi touch is in the ROM. Not the kernel drivers. The drivers have comments that state multi touch support exists

I noticed it works fine in things like launchers, but not games. It cancels all touches.... Any ideas?

Woah who is Jmz working with to get us soff? I am looking forward to this and hopefully it won't be crazy tricky to get it either

he donated to unlimited.io there's no promises but these guys are good. Also team blueridge, which lloir me and kalaker belong to (I'm one of the two founders ) has found a hopeful method for one v CDMA. It is the same way as the wildfire s. We just need the proper diag bin... but back on track. Create a general thread else please

I always figured it was the kernel until Simon just taught me something. I can't use CM10 because of reboots and that touch glitch. That's all that keeps me away. xD
