[Q] cm7 kernel

is there a kernel compatible with cm7 fxp111 that has more cpu governors?
will kernels from other cm7 devices work with the xperia play???
i cant seem to find updated cm7 kernels with more options...
can't seem to get answers from the cm7 thread either...
Perhaps the DooMKernel is compatible, haven't tried it though.

[Q] Wich ICS Rom is the "smoothest" for the Play

Hello, i 'm running since 2 weeks the miui v4 rom from pricey ( thanks pricey so much .
before i have running miui 2.3.7, and i mean it is smoother. but i currently running 4.0.4 and i don't want back to GB
and there is my question what do you mean is the "smoothest" ICS Rom? Or it is better on GB?
Is this for CDMA or GSM? Because I should be interested in the answer for CDMA.
actually for GMS but i think its the same for CDMA when the rom is running ?

DoomKernel

What roms work with the latest CDMA DoomKernel?
CDMA roms... stock-based gingerbread ones
OK so no ICS roms?
Also how do I find my firmware version? Does that change when I flash a kernel?

[Q] want some info about ics kernel...

is it possible to make an ics kernel for sgy to work with CM9 or AOKP roms...
or we can use any Gingerbread kernel like Merruk Technology 2.0 kernel to compile CM9 or AOKP for sgy...
what feature are needed to run ICS that couldn't found in stock GB rom from SGY?
Actually, the 2.6.x.x series of Linux kernels works fine with ics, so there is no need for a 3.x.x.x kernel.
Although if you are interested we could make a team and compile it
well i say go for it if it has more benefits than bugs tat are gona hopefully be fixed eventually

[Q] stock ICS

hi I have unlocked the bootloader of my xperia arc now if I would try the Serene Kernel -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2097138 in the post says I should use the official rom, as I put it with the bootloader unlocked?
Well well well, if you got a stockbased rom, then try it

I am now using the cyanogen 10, so I changed the kernel on the phone, the fact is that I do not know which ROM install after putting the kernel, I also wondered if it would be compatible with cyanogen 9 of Anzu.
ICS kernels will only work with ICS ROMs
JB kernels will only work with JB ROMs
GB kernels will only work with GB ROMs
stock based kernels are compatible with stock based ROMs only.
most (NOT ALL) non stock based kernels are compatible with any cm/Aokp/miui ROMs
so to answer your Q: serene kernel will not work on CM10 because
1) former is for ICS but CM10 is jb
2) cm10 is a non stock based ROM is

Try out different kernels to see what you like, but be sure that the ROM matches the KERNEL! or it won't boot!
