[Q] Move Multiple Apps at once - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I would like to select 5 apps on page 1 and would like to move them to page 2.
Is there any way to do this besides:
- Moving 1 app at a time.
- Moving them into a folder, moving the folder, then removing them from the folder.
Would this be functionality my launcher has to provide or is there an application that would allow me to do this? (I'm using Nova Launcher Prime). Or would an application be able to allow for this?
Basically the Android equivalent of "MultiIconMover" on iDevices:

In your app drawer? not possible (yet) as far as I know
On your homescreens? Android does that natively, no need for an app to make a folder for your games.
What I do to keep things organized and keep my app drawer from looking like a scrapyard of apps is I make folders for stuff (right now I just have tools and games) then I hide all the apps in those folders, as well as any other apps I don't need to see in my drawer (like chrome-to-phone, its a one time setup). I use LauncherPro which lets you hide apps in the drawer.
best solution I've found is an app called apps orginaizer - best app management tool out there imho. Does exactly what you're looking for.
Ok maybe this will be better looking for a app so I don't see so many when I bring up apps I rather see a folder with all games in there not see 5 games when I hit home than bring up apps that's where I want to see the folders

[REQ] Stock Launcher MOD >16 Apps in Folder

I can't believe Google was stupid enough to limit only 16 Apps per Folder. WTH. This isn't iOS grrrrr.
So I've tried a lot of the current launcher mods but all still have a limit of 16 apps per folder.
I know I can use Folder Organizer (which I do currently), or a different launcher like ADW.Launcher EX (I do use currently too), but both have other drawbacks when using them to get more than 16 apps per folder: Folder Organizer is slow, there's a <1 second delay to open the folder.
Adw.Launcher ex: Can't reaarange items in folder, also depending where the folder icon is put on the screen depends on how many apps in the folder are shown, if put in middle of the screen, only 2 rows of apps show up, if near the top or bottom, 3 rows show up. bleh.
anyways... please anyone? Mod the built in ICS folders to support more than 16 apps!

Placing apps according to their alphabets

Every time I unplug my phone from my pc I see that the order the apps are placed are changed, fx once an app which is located on page 3, next time it is moved to page 4 or it even changes it place with other apps on the same page.
Is there a way to organize the placement of apps by alphabet, so the installed apps/games are placed according to their alphabet?
I use Go Laucher Ex...
isn't it possible without a launcher?
most launchers can do this, but I don't think its possible to do this in stock touchwiz...
EDIT:
this one has it, but after flashing the launcher won't work, so problably because its for galaxy s, and not for more resolutions/sizes
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049501
Code:
alphabetical: Arrange the menu alphabetically. (Re-enter edit mode after moving an app into the dock fill in any hole in app spacing)
i think they move because you have some apps on sd, they cannot be usable if you have connected your phone to pc as mass storage
I always liked touchwiz' appearance but disliked no sorting in app drawer. Workaround? Use desktops to arrange launchers as desired. It's quicker to access the apps (; .

Launcher with pagination support

Hi,
My previous device was Galaxy SII and after moving to Galaxy Nexus, there is one feature that I miss from the TouchWiz.
In the TouchWiz launcher, there is pagination in the App drawer, and I can click the dot to move to a particular page of apps. Its missing in the stock ui and I end up swiping pages to select a particular app. I know I can do a quick search, but this would be faster IMHO.
The Go launcher has this feature but I dont prefer it because I'll have to use their widgets and all, and last time I used, it was not really responsive.
Can anyone suggest an alternative with pagination support?
Thanks!
Not exactly what you're looking for but with Nova Prime you can have folders in the app drawer. I just categorize my apps in to 1/2 dozen or so folders & they are all accessible on the first tab in the app drawer.

Click to collapse
I dont want to create app folders and curate them as I install more apps...I just need a fast way to open a specific page in the app drawer....like touching the third page dot, and I'll be in the third page, skipping second page.

Any mods to add FOLDERS in the App Drawer (the middle circle button)

I know that Google default launcher in the Nexus series (not TouchWiz, not Sense) does not have the capability to create folders in the App Drawer.
Does anyone know any mods to add this feature?
PS: I know about "use other launcher", but I like Google default launcher. I tried Nova and the folders CANNOT be arranged. I tried Go Launcher and for some reason bog downs my tablet.
Since I received no response, I assume this cannot be done.
So I will change the question:
If I create folders on the home screen to group all the apps, I will have about 10 different folders. Since these are like "Widgets", will this have any impact on battery? Basically I will have 10 widgets (the folders) and 3 other widgets.
