Yes its flashable... Can u try it? I don't gave my One yet to test it... But I believe its working great...
Just tried, boot down works, bootup is black screen. Might be me, flashed twice now, same results.

if i get some free time for this i will make it for One X+ too but i dont promise nothing right now...
but yeah u can do it yourself... just open these files and edit image size with photoshop to 720*1280 and u r good to go..=)

Currently still on stock, thinking about moving to TrickDroid or Revolution. Just come over from HD2, so have been used to AOKP/CM/PA mix, Sense is a bit of a shock. Any recommendation??
Really hoping for AOKP to come over, needing customisation!

Thats really too much . The bootanimations contains 2 parts but you can of course only use one of them cause they're the same but : even if you only use one part there are 204 frame to edit... holy! and then you also have to edit the size...
Let me see what i can do... But if you want one with htc i already finished it.

So I've made another version of this boot animation, resized to fit the Ace (320 x 480) and with the HTC logo removed. If anyone wants to try it out, I've attached it to this post.
Rename the file from 'AndroidEatsAppleAce.zip' to 'bootanimation.zip' then copy and replace with the original and set permissions.

One remark. Flashable zip works after removing "spaces"
Once downloaded and you open notification bar, I pressed on it and it asks you how you want to install it. I use rom manager as always. Phone rebooted into recovery but didn't install, came up with syntax error. But while I was in recovery, I chose install zip from sd card and it installed without problem, looks fantastic!
When phone first boots, I still get the horrible white screen with the HTC quietly brilliant logo, is that how its supposed to be? Is this mod supposed to replace that or are we stuck with that without s off?

I think U should unzip it to folder Venom/bootanimations and than use it in Venom Tweaks

Yea, the flashable zip pushes the anims to the most common place used
data/local
system/resources
But some custom roms use different places.
In that case you need to manually replace/rename Bootanimation zip and copy it to the correct folder and set the permissions right with Rootexplorer or ES FileExplorer or similar.

The first Logo is like a "BIOS" screen, then Android starts booting .. this is where we can replace the boot animation
(Correct me if I'm wrong) .. I haven't heard of any way to replace that first screen that comes when you turn it on.

It's called "splash" screen located on a locked partition.
Once there is s-off we can replace it.
Regular HTC unlock doesn't unlock that part

I have looked in every nook & cranny of the settings and I can not find anything that says "Mount File System".
I did find the R/W settings in there, and I changed them to RW from RO and still nothing.

I use root explorer I'm not so familiar with es explorer but it should be the same, mount as R/w which let's you re-write or edit any system file if your mounted as R/o that's read only you can't edit system files just let's you view them I hope this clears it up for some people , there should always be an option around there to let you change your permissions type (r/o r/w)

indeed, you mentioned the protection.smali.
this aint working for 4.2.2 M7 prism.apk
There is something missing or blocking this amended protection.smali.
And flashing stock the butterfly or dna prism.apk results in a borky launcher
Thats why i attempted this mod without real smali knowledge.

either with blinkfeed or no blinkfeed select from the home personalize

Cant find it there man,
extracted the folder but the home_nav_bg is the stock one
Theres a couple of extra pngs there but not that one
In on trickdroid and I replaced this prism with the one the ROM came with and my phone won't boot I had to reflash the ROM, any fix ?

replace the prism with your current rom inside the zip file reflash it and will revent the changes... plus will boot!

- Sense - bootanimation file: hTC_bootup_one.zip, path: /system/customize/resource/
- Viper - bootanimation file: bootanimation.zip, path: /system/customize/resource/
- AOSP - bootanimation file: bootanimation.zip, path: /system/media/

ps. if you can NOT find download files just tell me what are you looking for, whats your ROM and then I`ll add them to the collection.
DO NOT download all collection files at once - it consumes a lot of my bandwith.

I love it, ccan you make a version with the owl only (with htc, beats audios..etc in bootloop), or maybe reduce the time with the flower if it's not possible !

This bootanimation is really cool
I like it...
But its bad that there is no flashable zip for AOSP for the Owl Edition...
I did it on my own with push to system/media/ but its a bit complicated.. :/
Nevermind, its really cool, keep going with making bootanimations!

@cisza Hey can you remove the flower part from the end of the Owl boot animation so it will loop on the Owl when it's snowing? That would be awesome. I like the flower, but the looping would be more appropriate on the Owl I think - it looks awesome.
