Hi all,
I am using CM-KangBang V3.0 for my one V. I like this rom on this rom. And on this rom i can slide 3 or 2 induction button to lock, unlock screen. But i don't know how this feature called. I tried orther rom, but with them, i can't do that. Can someone tell me how this feature called? Is there a app with this feature. Thanks!
It is a feature of the kernel,its called sweep2wake.there are plenty of apps that can lock/unlock the phone without using the power button. eg,smart screen on which unlocks/ locks with a sweep over the proximity sensor.

i just installd TB Fusion 0.9 ROM.
i love this rom but i have one problem.
i dont want to use the power key for wake up. i want that the volume keys will wake up my device.

proximity sensor (free_from market) will wake and sleep phone using the proximity sensor, nothing else is close to what your looking for

You can use the "No lock" app from the market. Once you push the phisical buttons, your phone will wake up without lockscreen. I love it

proximity sensor is not good for me
i have NoLock, its nice but its skip the SENSE 3 lock screen.
i want to keep this lock screen.
i dont know whay its hard to wake up the device with volume keys...
i search on the net and didnt find answer.

I recently switched back to ARHD from CM7 and I really miss the feature to switch songs while the screen is locked, over the volume buttons.
Is there a way to enables this in sense roms, or does anyone know in which file the settings should be that i can manually activate it?

There is an app in the market that can do this! Search for remap or something like that. And I think you can use it while it is locked

I think there called proximity sensors or the home, menu, search and back keys.. Anyways I got the pacman rom and i want to use the pie controls as my home buttons instead of the actual sensors.. How can you disable it if possible? Running to pacman 4.2.2 with cerux kernel

There is a mod in the themes and apps section that has a mod called disable soft keys which is a flash able zip. Just flash it and put electrical tape over the soft keys so they don't look ugly

The proximity sensor is at the top of the phone used to decide when to turn the screen off when the phone get into proximity of your face.
Light sensor is also at the top of the phone and is used to adjust the screen brightness based on how light or dark it is around you.
The four buttons along the bottom are not sensors exactly. They are simply soft keys. There is a flash able mod to disable them. Search in the PAC man ROM thread I'm sure others have asked the same question.

After installed official JB, my Screen off and lock (donate) has a bug. after lock the phone by this app, i have to press power button 3 times to unlock the phone. If i use the power button to lock the phone, then unlock by pressing it again, it's okay.
any slution?

Hi guys i would like to ask if there is an app that can wake up screen without pressing the power button? I have used gravity screen but after the recent update it is causing problems...auto screen on app works for 2 or 3 times and then doesn't work...i m new to android so have no idea about kernels, etc...ur feedback is appreciated

Try this app or flash a kernel that supports it like Elemental.
