[Q] Really quick question about i9250T - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hey guys, im not from the nexus forums i'm from the Note N7000.
I am getting my note sold and I have the opportunity to buy the i9250T. I just wanted to know what are the differences. I read that the 9250T is from australia and that is all the information I can get about it. Is it basically the same phone? Or would I need to follow different rooting and flashing guidelines? Or can I buy it can come straight back here and begin reading/flashing.

[Q][HELP NEEDED] Nexus carrier unlocked/locked quesiton

Hi Guys,
First of all apologies if the title of this thread is somewhat vague. I don't really know what title I should use. I've been using a Nexus GSM unlocked version and my brother asked me to help him buy a Nexus as well. Here in our country, you can only buy a Nexus through our carrier providers and of course in a grey market. I was able to buy mine on the grey market and we also bought his there (different shop). However, the one we bought him was originally locked to a carrier. The shop just unlocked it (making it carrier independent). Moving on, here's my question: is it okay to flash a custom ROM to my brother's Nexus? Will his Nexus be locked again to that specific carrier if I installed a custom ROM? To be honest, I don't really know how they unlock a phone to be carrier independent. Here's hoping someone could help me out and very big thank you in advance. :good:
One more thing, i found this thread and I'm also wondering if the thread below also applies to Nexus.

[Q] Questions about Note 2 on Seoul

First of all, hello? I'm planning to go to Seoul next month for the CIGIF 2012 event and I'm planning to buy Galaxy Note 2 there. But I got some question regarding buying from there.
1. The most important question, how much is the price compared with the current price in USA? I mean the international version selling in USA.
2. Second question, regarding about the compatibility. I heard that Korean version doesn't support GSM as they only support CDMA. If yes, how to unlock the phone so that it can use GSM-based SIM instead of CDMA? Because I'm living in Malaysia and CDMA hasn't yet popular.
Thanks for spending time reading my questions and all for the answers. Sorry for nooby questions. More question to come.

Tmobile version or international?

Tmobile version vs internaltional version?
Guys,
Im planning to buy galaxy note 2 no commitment handset but im confused which one to go for. They are same priced. Since i came to US in fall 2011 i have never used a US locked phone. Im currently using htc hd2 (the legend).
My question is if i buy att phone and then unlock it will flashing new roms etc still be a problem compared to international version. Do they provide only a code to unlock the phone or a complete new rom to flash which removes att bootloader and drivers and makes it like an international version. The only difference i guess is about warranty and lte radio between the two variants. I do not care about lte radio since im mostly connected to wifi but i care a little aboutthe warranty.
Some questions might be stupid since im new to this us version phones so im sorry about it.
Thanx in advance for replying

[Q] shall i buy the note?

hi guys im litereally about to go and buy a galaxy note ii lte, however before i do i just wanted to ask 3 questions:
1) is there a method to get s-off on this (i am a htc one x owner and its annoying as hell not having s-off)
2) can this be unlocked for free as shown by that xda thread
3) there seems to be a different thread with less roms for the lte edition of this phone...why is that? can I not use the other n7100 roms for the n7105 phone?
a quick response would be amazing before i head out to get this
Unless you buy from Verizon... it already is s-off.....even Verizon note 2 can be rooted....
More people have the international n7100...so more ROMs available for it
Lte version is different... needs different ROM than that used on the international one
You can take some time to go through different sections for different carriers in the Us for note 2 on the xda forums
scribbled from my note 2 (N7100)
so i bought it and it seems amazing!!! just need to learn how to use it and stuff.

You can't root any of the NA versions.
I bought the SM-901E[/DS], it's a snapdragon variant, root able but does not work on CDMA carriers in the US
