XDA Notifications

Is there a way to have text messaging notifications for xda? With the option to reply via text messaging? Similar to facebook and twitter.

There is a way to have text notifications, but no text to thread messaging. You can set notifications in the user cp - edit options.

Phone auto on when text

Is there a way to not have my phone turn on when i receive a text ? Ive looked throughout the settings and have yet to find a way cause thats just a battery killer

Under your messages click menu then scroll to notifications and un tick however you won't get any notifications if a incoming text

try a custom rom from the dev section. most of them have that function disabled. You will also still get your regular notification which is better than turning off your notifications

Hense mod 7. But I mean like I wanna send mms from my stock messaging app but it would never send and I was thinking if I change the mms setting that it would work

Is your WFS a CDMA one??? And do you have MMS settings from your carrier??

S3 Stock Messaging App

Does someone have the stock messaging app that will actually flash onto a rooted stock 4.1.1 Touchwiz rom? I have tried one that worked, but the vibration when receiving a text kessage did not work EXCEPT when the phone was on vibrate. I really need it. I tried the AOKP mms but MMS did not work!!!!

AOKP MMS works just fine on stock.
Just download a stock ROM and pull the secmms.apk from it push it to system and fix permissions
