The N7100 doesn't have LTE hardware in it. The T889 T-Mobile variant clearly does. You cannot add capabilities to a device that it doesn't have the hardware for.

Was more of an annoyed post not physically why.

The US models are not the N7100. I quite clearly said the N7100.

Im chilled just sick of all these mods that get on there high horse when there is far more duplicate posts to be seen than bring up a post that hadnt been touched for a few days. Lol.

Cleaned.
Right, cleaned this thread of all the bad language and arguments.
I'd like to take this opportunity to remind members that XDA is a place for sharing, learning and last, but not least helping people develop, theme and improve their devices, not for silly little arguments in public forums - we're part of the same team, remember that.
In regards to people trying to help enforce the rules of xda, as much as we appreciate this, it's better if you let us deal with it, and help us by reporting any posts which violate the rules.
Some of the language in these posts have no place in XDA, what you might not find offensive, some people do. So lets do our best to not include any profane or foul language, thank you.
Anymore problems, use the right channels (the report feature).
Kind regards,
Lady Android

@Lady Android
Don't see why you didn't just close this thread. Your caring and relaxed attitude seems out of sync with other mods who feel that XDA is not for noobs, and especially not for noobs to bloat with their garbage, posted without reading the rules and usually through boredom or laziness.
If you want people to use the report feature; might I suggest the xda app is updated to include a report button.
Thank you for your time.

You would be better off starting a new thread for your question. It's not likely to get much attention in a totally unrelated thread.

Check GTN7100 IN THE INTERNET IF HAS LTE in it.

Who said XDA was not for noobs? XDA is a sharing information comunity for everybody and to prove it there is a guide just for Noobs.
XDA official Noob guide ->http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699450

The line I've see written by many mods is:
It's xda-developers.com not xda-noobs
And if that's guide is worth it's salt then it will strongly discourage threads like this one:
Information that already exists
Question in wrong thread
Lack of searching, reading and understanding, just more bloat for people to sift through to find the juicy cream.
Anyway this has been thoroughly off-topic we should probably let this thread die now.

I hope that is the case, if labled with the right tag, we will only need to focus on that when looking at topics. I for one want to focus on all Sprint related topics/questions first, and if I have time help the rest of the SGS3 owners. But Id like to be closer friends with the people that are on the same carrier as me... No offence

Don't forget (Americans often do) that there's also Rogers, Bell, and Telus, not to mention a few more in Canada.
Rogers, Bell and Telus use the AT&T I747. I'm not sure about Virgin, Mobilicity, etc.
Peter
Addendum: I really should say that Rogers, Bell and Telus use the I747, which AT&T also uses. I really don't like saying it's an AT&T I747, because it's not.
Personally, I will try and use [I747] on all my posts.

XDA is about hacking devices, not discussing carriers. Don't forget that.
Go to a carrier-related forum if you want that.
I, for one, see this as a good change. Speaking as an engineer/developer.
Already we have 2 Off-Topic threads discussing this change. Don't complain about off-topic threads when you post in them.

Not really a good change, a step in the right direction, yes. But I for one only want to see Sprint related general/off topic posts when I come into the SGS3 general forum. That's why I ask for the tags. I mean that is a system in its self that needs to be used here ( I would love to see that happen). I'm just saying that makes it so much easier when scanning, and when you don't want to have to subscribe to all the Sprint related topics just to keep up with what your trying to focus on is ridiculous if you ask me.

Okay, so other than:
1. *****ing about poor coverage.
2. *****ing about LTE roll-out.
3. *****ing about bundled apps.
4. *****ing about insurance/TEP.
What else possibly belongs in the General section that's Sprint-specific?
XDA has an off-topic section. Go there if you want to talk about whatever. It's about time these forums get back to device/development. This place has been taken over by whiny 14 year olds for too long.

Tho we wouldn't have to if we had separate forums. I know in the past there were several that would cross platforms from international version to US versions and that was great, but I think it's a bit confusing to do it like this and if you're going to label every thread with a carrier anyway, why not just have it's own forum??
It is what it is I guess.

For oc/UV check out the original dev forum.
As for benchmarks... Yeah.
The random number generator known as quadrant will spit out anything from 5,000's to 9,000's for me.
The random number generator known as antutu spits out anything from 4,000's to 8,000's.
Have fun!

[KERNEL] Request DualBoot Kernel T999

Hi folks, I have a flamming subject today. I am the onlyone would would cut a finger to have a dualboot kernel like on the Internationnal version? I mean why are we the only device to not have this ? Rarz got one, S3 4 core got one, HTC one too and now they are planning the S4. I hate juggling between backups.
If it is money it need i'm ready to give some via paypal, and I dont think I'll be the only one that will support that developpment. Imagine switching with one click from AOSP latest CM to a touchwiz based ROM.
I dont want to be burried because of this post but seriously this would be awesome.

I didn't even realize that this was the t999 was the only version that didn't have a dualboot kernel
I remember I wanted this ability super bad about a year ago but figured the devs would eventually get around to it. So disappointed that this just never happened as I'm constantly forced to choose an OK ROM over a great ROM due to 1 or 2 important (though often rarely used) features. If I could dualboot I would benefit from using a great ROM (AOSP based) as my daily driver and switch, only when necessary, to take advantage of modified/stock benefits like better driver support for video recording. A "feature" I only really need when on vacation or at an event.
I'm not sure how dualbooting works exactly. Is this a kernel feature, as everyone seems to be suggesting, and wouldn't that force us to use 1 and only 1 kernel for all our ROMs?
