[Q] using 3g/4g with Xperia zl6503 in Sweden - Sony Xperia ZL

Hi I'm wondering if Xperia zl 6503 is compatible in regards to 3G and 4g/lte bands in Sweden?
Furthermore, I have started to see on eBay that people have started to sell it, is it safe to buy it? Expansys se only has it as pre order at the moment.
Thanks.

ARC 3G compatibility

i bought this ARC from hongkong and now im in canada
but i never found the 3G network, and then i go to Fido store
i changed a SIM card.But nothing change.
and finally i found the problem: My Lt15i is only support UMTS/HSPA 900/2100
And i wanna to know if i can fix by change CDA or the driver of baseband?
no way to change the band compatibility... it's hardware related. your best bet is to sell that one and buy the arc from rogers
I had the same issue. I did receive the LT15i so it only works on EDGE.
eBAY is going to refund the money when I return the phone
I will then buy a LT15a which will work on our bands.
I'm amazed you don't know this. You buy a Hong Kong phone or a European phone, it is not 3G Canada. Hey, this is XDA. This is where they're supposed to know.
Here's a pro tip regarding Sony Ericsson phones.
last letter a = North American GSM frequencies (850/1900/2100)
last letter i = Global GSM frequencies (900/1800/2100)
last letter c = Chinese GSM frequencies and may be TD-SCDMA
LT15a is Xperia Arc for AT&T/Rogers/Fido/Bell/Telus frequencies.
LT15i is Xperia Arc for Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia GSM frequencies.
SO-01C is Xperia Arc for Japan.
Is there an LT15c?
What about Brazil?

Brazil uses the "a" version.
I'm just wondering to the OP what did you do?
I realize I have the same problem.
I too bought an arc in hong kong. Actually it was meant for my mother, but I traded her with my x10.
My arc LT15i network only works on edge.
I think it's funny how my x10 works great in hong kong while the arc can't connect to 3g here.
Is there a service provider that would be in that same frequency?
I'm currently with fido.
[Edit] Excuse me for reviving dead post.
Switch to LT15a_3.0.1.A.0.145_NAM
maybe works
Here in Brazil, works with LT15a
But works LT15i
But if 3G is hardware problem, I'm sorry!
Greetings
Do not buy a internation version phone unless u clearly know the phone 3g band. It is because most of the international version wont work in most of the carrier in north america. I believe it is because frequency 850 only used in north america, so they have to make a "special" edition for north america carrier.
Also you can't change the baseband to get the 3g network, since it is hardware problem, not software.

[Q] Buying the right Arc in the US!

Guys Newegg just posted couple Arc models claiming it works with AT&T 3G, I am not so sure about the bands so could you check this out for me?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875212166
Amazon has the same through J&R and that one is 35 bucks cheaper...
Or maybe someone can convince me to get S2?
Those 3G bands are the correct ones to work with AT&T, specifically the 850MHz and 1900MHz bands.
I have ordered this phone and it should arrive with a couple days, is there anything I need to know about software/fw updates, etc? Or just use it out of box and it should be fine?

[Q] Can Arc use the 3G network of T-mobile?

Does the network frequency of Arc fit T-mobile? I can use 3G in China, but only GPRS available here in America with T-mobile network.
Anyone can help me?
Thanks
What is your phone code number, in America it is Lt15a, a is American, if you use i, this can be a problem maybe, they have different frequence like you said, first you can ask this to Sony Ericsson i guess?

[Q] ARC with Bell Canada

Bought the LT15I silver from ebay.
It totally works with Rogers, ofcourse EDGE, but not with bell.
keeps losing reception.

need help

Hi im wondering if Sony Ericsson XPERIA PLAY R800i works on tmobile usa 3g ? i wanna make shure before i buy it since they have one in my local pawn shop for 50 brand new and i dont wanna pass out on a good deal please some one help
3G workd on the XPlay,
and be shure, that its not sim-locked, then youre good
The R800i do not support T-Mobile 1700MHz, so technically no. However, the might be a chance, because T-Mobile recently leased(?) the 1900MHz from ATT after the failed buyout. However, I don't know exactly how the coverage on that is. All I know is I got it working on South Florida area.
Also $50 sound too good, just make sure it has clean IMEI and not a stolen item, which sometimes can happen. Ask them if you can insert the sim card and make a call.
FYI. The 3G T-Mobile band is 1700/2100. The ATT 3G band is 850+1900/2100. Xperia Play do not support 1700mhz so technically it should not work.
Not sure about the network thing but a new xperia play 800i for $50?
Hell buy it for me and ill PayPal you the money plus pay for shipping!
