Google + Community here
The Mysterious ROM is a ROM based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It exists on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 and Samsung I9100 and Samsung I9300 and Maguro and Tilapia and Hercules and Toro and i9100g and Manta.
Features :
Added Linaro
So fast !
Added Bionic optimizations :
morfic said:
bionic is the "libc" of android, there are hardware optimized memcpy/memset and a few others for cortex-a9 and/or armv7-a, but also others specifically for krait, using those instead of stock bionic versions perform the same job a lot better than the more generic versions in aosp.
That affects memory throughput significantly and anything where you move data and need memory throughput using those functions will benefit from it.
there are other (math) functions that can be optimized more for the particular hardware

I tried it and it runs smooth didn't have a single problem. I'm just not sure what's different from say the pub releases. Don't get me wrong the more ROMs the better.
Sent from my Nexus 10 using XDA Premium HD app

That is all I needed to hear, (not a single problem) I will be flashing this tonight!

Very nice, smooth as silk right off the bat. Nice to have another viable option! :good:

Does this have otg support? If I install another kernal will the optimizations go away?

"Quick Settings" crashes. I dont know if its a known bug.

Is there a feature list somewhere? What is different?
Boot Loops
I love Liquid Smooth but on this release all I am getting is a boot loop. I have redownloaded and reinstalled to no avail.

no Mako is the codename for nexus4 ...Sadly you cannot flash TW kernels on this rom :/ The per app dpi engine, while it is awesome, is a Paranoid Android staple and you essentially have to use their base in order to get it to work properly. Its a HUGE hook in the source and although im pushing for per-app engine in our ROM im feeling a lot of resistence from other members of my team..This rom is designed with speed, stability and feature richness in mind first and foremost. It is the only AOSP 4.2.1 linaro 4.7 -O3 rom available for Note II afaik.

Thanks for quick response. Jellybear support per-app dpi and I think it is a good idea to port it, (seems per-app dpi just load different configuration file for different app, maybe I am wrong since I have not much experience of android OS development) , thanks for quick reply. And is it a good idea to move the thread to Android Development rather than stay at Original Android Development?

Doesn't matter what rom you're currently on. You will need to wipe anyway. I would hold off though, it's also not booting over on the Verizon side.

The file is only 105 mb. Is that kinda small?
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
it is kinda small. that's the point
i'm hearing that you need to factory reset after the install. the note 2 is a little wonky about transitions.
try that and report back. we had a working boot this morning with a tester so i know it does work.

No. It was tested this morning on a device with TWRP.

Thx and welcome!
known bugs or issues with the build so far?
One question tho...yesterday I installed on my Nexus 7 a 4.2.2 ROM and the following link was provided... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34610569&postcount=1 but it was only suggested.
My question is, can I use these gapps for 4.2.2 on this ROM, even tho there're "UNOFFICIAL"?
TIA!

I may hold off on this till the Google edition comes out to see if they have IR support or not and hopefully be ported to AOKP roms.
Literally IR is the only reason I'm on TW right now.

I have not installed this rom yet, so i cant speak to that. I was curious whether it works. When i stream things to my car via bluetooth it stutters. Its not the download speed as im on LTE. I also just updated my car's software to the latest version of Ford Sync
I have a Sony radio and it works for me. Keep in mind that I don't stream though. It's downloaded content.
All I can say is flash, test and report back.
