That's cool. That one doesn't offer info in the OP. If you were even more observant you would notice that I even posted on there. That one is not getting any attention, and it may because the original post is not informative.

I am simply informing you

Want custom roms? Let Sammy know.

If you didn't know, developers are begining to drop from the Note II due to the lack of info on the Exynos processor and the difficulty it creates. Now Samsung may be softening and is considering releasing documentation. Here's the tweet.
We hear your concerns about documentation & source code for Exynos-based devices. We're discussing it with our team and will update you soon

I meant to post this in general. Can a mod move this thread and delete this post? Thanks in advance.

(Request) forums for Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 Korean Versions

Hello, I'm a developer in Korea. I'm new to XDA.
I'm writing this post because I found that the ROMs and Kernels for Korean Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2, although they are incompatible with the global models, only are posted under the global models' forums due to the absence of separate forums.
Because I'm new to XDA, I still am not fully aware of the XDA culture: I'm not sure if XDA is careful about creating new forums especially if the new forum isn't provisioned to attract a whole lot of threads. However, U.S. variants all get separate forums, and I believe it would worth asking.
Thanks for reading :good:

POTATO!!!!
In this kind of situation, another forum won't generally be created unless there's a high demand for it. So a good place to start would be making a request in the thread that Prawesome linked to and get other users of the Korean variants to make requests there aswell.
Also, if you PM a mod of the S3 forum you could ask to make a thread where all things related to the Korean variant would go. It's not exactly what you're after but at least it's a start.
Thanks. I went to the thread and requested.

[Forum Suggestion] - Please consider regrouping similar phones

In the past, I suggested that Nexus devices deserved their own forum grouping. I was told that this was an end-user perspective, but this forum is meant more for the developer perspective. I totally get that, which is why I'm now making this new suggestion.
The Galaxy S4 subforums are a mess. You have the i9500 and i9505 under the same listing, but they have different hardware. Thankfully, you've separated them within that group. However, the i9505g has no subforum. People are making random threads about this phone on most of the S4 subforums (I have to check the unlocked, T-Mobile, and AT&T variant forums at a minimum). I see a few potential solutions to this. The first is to give the i9505G its own subforum. Due to the partitioning, it does have its own issues with development (you currently cannot flash a Touchwiz ROM to the GPe due to smaller partition, but a GPe ROM can be flashed to a TW variant but with less user available storage). Due to this, many ROMs (if not most) cannot be ported to the i9505G, so it should not be discussed in the same areas as the other models.
Another solution would be to take ALL of the S4 variants, and group them within two subgroups; Exynos and Snapdragon. The Snapdragon subgroup could have the development subforums for all of the carrier variants. As it stands, these phones all have the same hardware with the key differences being radio firmware. In many cases, ROMs made for one can be flashed with no changes to another.
In conclusion, the current Galaxy S4 forum situation is difficult for i9505G users, but it's also a mess for development due to there being so many sub forums for identical hardware. At the very least, it would be nice if you could give an i9505G sub-subforum under the i9505 (due to model number) or T-Mobile variant (due to same hardware/radio firmware). Regardless of your decision, thanks for your time in reading this.
I was actually looking to ask get separated both i9500 & i9505 one.
I think we can consider to merge with same hardware. Like i9505 & i9505G.?
BTW, we have dedicated thread here for [All XDA Members] Requests to Moderators and Admins & [All XDA Members] Feedback/Recommendations for XDA
As you are pointing a great idea, you must use above ^ ^ mentioned threads.

Will there be a 7T Pro?

I'm thinking about getting this phone when it gets released but would hold off if there will be a Pro version released before 2020. I have searched this and even chatted with OnePlus customer service but they are tight lipped. Does anyone know if the next phone will be 7T Pro or 8?

If that's the case I may buy the 7T from the pop-up event in NYC on 10/11

Yes, I agree. I guess I'm better off waiting on this phone to get formally announced than going to that pop-up event and getting the 7T. Decisions decisions

[CLOSED]When did XDA become so unuser friendly?

I been a member for a long time and I remember when there was cooperation, people willing to help, share what they knew and it was a upbeat atmosphere. It seems like now days everything you post is scrutinized, deleted, moderated to death. Do you know you can't even start a new thread about a new phone if it's not already on here? When I saw that I was like wow, you really got to "request" it to a moderator?! Then it's up to "them" if they choose to put it up or not. It just sounds bad. It's like there are a few Dev's, a few hackers and then some control freek moderators. Like hall monitors or crossing guards. I tried to share the hacked Samsung torrent in a few different Samsung phone rooms. All were deleted. Like that right there will help any and all samsung phone threads. There is pretty much all of Samsung's codes, security, and even manufacture tools for programming phones. Like a wealth of knowledge any dev would kill to get his or hers hands in. Instead of thanks or people trying to share this info they shut it down. So I again ask... WTF happened to XDA?
I wondered why I saw hardly any discussion of the Samsung source code leak on XDA anywhere. I'm still a bit puzzled about that. Is that a topic verboten? Do I have to resort to using Yandex to find information about it?
