[How To][4.2.2][4.3][4.4.2] Use ZipThemer to flash your themes in stock firmwares ! - Nexus 4 Themes and Apps

Hi everybody
Since I learned how to use ZipThemer in order to change and apply mods with my Nexus 4, I've made a little How To, it might help some of you. ZipThemer is a very simple app that allows you to create theme files (.zip), ready to be flashed with your favorite custom recovery. It supports ZipThemer and Metamorph files and it is very easy to use so let's start!
As always, you make those changes at your own risks. I can't be responsible for any brick or death of your phone. Be sure to make a Nandroid Backup before any changes.!

Be sure to have :
- A Rooted Nexus 4 (or any smartphone)
- 5 minutes
- The .zip files of the update from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 that you can download here :
OR
- The .zip files of the update from 4.2.2 to 4.3 that you can download here :
OR
- The .zip files of the update from 4.4.1 to 4.4.2 that you can download here :
(be sure to know what version you're using, it's in red :laugh
- The theme you have choosen in a .zip file
0- If you're using a KitKat Rom and want to instal SoftKeys, go to that step that @bigwavedave25 showed us, else, continue to step 1
1- Begin by downloading Android App ZipThemer right there or directly from your phone.
[font=Arial, Verdana, sans-serif]
[/font]
2- Right after the installation, launch ZipThemer for the first time
3- A little window appears, asking you to Update Edify (the window is missing in the screenshot above because that's not the first time I launch Zipthemer.). For this, simply press the menu button and Update Edify
4- Press Browse in order to find and select the convenient file chosen in this thread above, that you have downloaded and copied in your phone. Then press Configure, wait a moment (few seconds) and then go back to the principal window by pressing your "Back" button.
5- Pick a theme you like in any website/forum and copy it to your cellphone, and then select it by pressing +Theme and choosing it in the file explorer (I use here a new lockring found in XDA). It appears now over the menu and, you can choose its destination with +Output and then press Build it!
6- ZipThemer is taking care of the file, usually not very long, and will notify you when it is done !
7- Flash your theme with your favorite Recovery (there are many How To to learn how to do it ) but don't forget to systematically Wipe Cache/Wipe Dalvik Cache (recommended !) and reboot your phone. You just have to enjoy the result!
If you have found that useful, don't forget the
button

Remove gradient..
So if I wanted to flash something that removes the gradient in settings/menus/etc, so it's all black, how would I do that?

Just change the background_holo_dark.png in framework-res.apk/res/drawable-nodpi to black.

I tried this method on my Gnex (you posted over on this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1413582), but I still have the boring white stock softkeys. I downloaded the zip file from here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/eglqkhlw33clfhz/FQ7oMslrI8/Softkeys/Airbrush Blue and did the edify part, then configure. Then I did unzip part on a MMZT file. After that I went into recovery and flashed the new "update" zip file. Did I miss a step? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Nothing stopped working which is good, but not nothing changed either.

Which zip file did you use to 'Update Edify' ?

The zip file that was provided in the first post from the dropbox link. This one: de8b8d101614.signed-occam-JDQ39-from-JOP40D.de8b8d10.zip.

edit: I derped, move along.
Sent from my Nexus 4

Thanks alot man, I have added a link to my softkey thread!

I can't seem to download the zip file to update edify that's in the op. All I get is a photo of the box icon? I tried typing the link in my chrome browser myself but it says the page cannot be opened? Am I missing something?

I've just try with my nexus 4 and it work perfectly...
I'll reupload as soon as I go back from holidays.

This exactly what I needed. Big thanks mate! Very good job!
EDIT. I tried, but when I select the theme it says:
Can't find a theme control file in /storage/emulated/0 in Nameofmytheme.zip
Any ideas?

Yes, I think your .zip is already a theme file. Try to flash it directly

is there a place to get themes in .zip form? I cant find any.

Need ZipThemer. Also, most of the mods available in this section need this app

I am not really sure why in the instructions it says to use that zip file from his box.net account. You should be able to simply use the exisiting rom file that you are on to update edify, then follow the remainder of the steps to build a flashable zip. I personally used my nightly for linaro tackleberry rom to update edify and then built my zip worked great and no need to download an additional file for zipthemer.

Yes it is quite easy to update edify with a custom rom because they are all .zip files. When you're are stock, the rom files are .tar.gz (some kind of Linux) files. So I decided to test it with an update file (from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2) for the Nexus 4, which is the .zip file in the Box account (this Box account t is mine and I use it for all my Android files)
That's why the title of the thread shows it as a tutorial for stock rom

Sadly enough I get the following on CWM 6.0.3.1
"Amend scripting (update-script) is no longer supported. Amend scripting was deprecated by google in android 1.5.
Please switch to Edify scripting to create working update zip packages.

Any hint on how to bypass this or what I did wrong? (was trying to make a pokeball lockring )

[SOFTKEYS][ZIPTHEME] Samsung Galaxy S II (Skyrocket) SoftKeys

Samsung Galaxy S II (Skyrocket) SoftKeys
For all of us who once had a SGS2 and wants to have the same navigation keys as on that phone, or at least try it out. I always liked the menu key on it the best.
These keys are built from a high-res pic I found of the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket, it has Menu, Home, Search, Recent and Back.
Landscape PNG's are included.
There's no "menu" key, only "MENU_BIG", usable in AOKP.
This is now a ZipTheme/MetaMorph file. If you want to extract the files and do a systemUI.apk update instead, it can be done via this file as well.
If you plan to use my softkey-set for a themerelease, please let me know and remember to mention me in the thread.
I know this is only softkeys, but even if you find a way to make profit of these, please don't.

Big thanks to atticus182 for helping me out with an easy way to do a ZipTheme.zip.
atticus182 said:
Installation Methods (Method 1 Recommended)
Straight from your Galaxy Nexus
1. Easiest Method
*** ZipThemer *** Does not work on AOKP build 19, please try MetaMorph instead!
Download and install ZipThemer from the Market
Download a Softkey Style using the ZipThemer link in the First Post, and open up ZipThemer on your phone
If this is the first time using ZipThemer, hit the (hidden) menu key -> Hit "Update Edify" -> Hit "Browse" (pick a file that you have flashed before on your phone, like your ROM or a theme) -> Hit "Configure" -> Then hit the 'back' softkey to return to the main screen.
Click the "+Theme" button, browse to the download folder and select the .zip you have just downloaded using the ZipThemer link in the First Post, probably /sdcard/download
Click the "Build It!" button, and when it prompts if you want to make an "undo-zip", click "Always"
You will now see the output screen with the Build Log, check if everything went alright, it will show that a zip file has been created on /sdcard/
Reboot your phone to Recovery after this and flash the .zip file that is created on /sdcard/
Done! If you experience problems or want to undo the action just flash the "undo-zip" that's also located on /sdcard/
*** MetaMorph *** Does not work on ARHD, please try one of the methods below instead!
Download and install MetaMorph from the Market, open it at least once so that the folder AndroidThemes will be created on /sdcard/
Download a Softkey Style using the MetaMorph link and move this .zip file to /sdcard/AndroidThemes using your favorite file explorer
Open MetaMorph, choose "Unzip/Extract new theme" and select the .zip file you downloaded. A popup screen will appear, meaning it has been extracted. Press the "Close" button.
Hit the "Apply all!" button and wait +/- 5 seconds (nothing will happen)
Reboot your phone immediately after this and you're done! Oh, and set a new wallpaper because it may be restored to default..
2. Advanced (Hard) Method - Edit the SystemUI.apk from your phone - thanks to bangdrum! Not working for everybody!
Download and install Root Explorer from the Market and make a Nandroid backup
Download the softkeymod you like
Open Root Explorer and navigate to /system/app/, find SystemUI.apk, long press, and select extract. Go to the folder sdcard/speedsoftware/extracted and make sure you have a folder that's called SystemUI
If the folder is there navigate to where you downloaded the chosen softkeymod (usually sdcard/download) and long press it. Select extract all. Go to sdcard/speedsoftware/extracted and there should be a folder with the name of the softkeymod.
Click on this folder, and also on the next. Hit the menu key and press 'Multi Select'. Highlight all the images included in the folder and select 'Move' at the bottom. Navigate back to the SystemUI folder, go to SystemUI/res/drawable-xhdpi and 'Paste' here. A command prompt should pop up asking to replace the current images. Select 'Yes For All'
Go back to the sdcard/speedsoftware/extracted folder, long press the SystemUI folder and select 'Create ZIP'
Rename the created SystemUI.zip to SystemUi.apk and move the SystemUI.apk to your /system/app folder. Change permissions of SystemUI.apk to rw-r--r--
Reboot your Galaxy Nexus (pull battery out and reboot, this is an essential step) and your softkeys will be modded!
Using your Computer
3. Manual Method - Images using Updater Script
Download THIS Updater Script
Extract the SystemUI.apk from your current ROM from /system/app
Open the SystemUI.apk with WinRAR and navigate to /res/drawable-xhdpi
Add the images you downloaded from this thread into this folder, it will overwrite the original icons
Open the downloaded updater script and drag your SystemUI.apk into the /system/app folder, replacing the current file which is just a placeholder
Flash using recovery, done!
4. Automatic Method - Images using Softkey Modder - thanks to mlbvsnba!
Download THIS Softkey Modder
Place the downloaded softkey images into the "PUT_IMAGES_HERE" folder
Connect your phone to your computer
Make sure USB debugging is enabled (located in Settings --> Developer options)
Run/Open "Create Flashable Zip.bat"
Answer yes ("y") to both transfer prompts (or transfer the zips yourself)
Flash the modded (or original) zip through CWM (a.k.a. Rom Manager) **Do NOT wipe anything!** and enjoy!

regular zip has been replaced by ZipThemer ready file.
hmmmm...the zipthemer file didn't work for me.
this is my first ziptheme so maybe i did something wrong, but i followed the directions in the first post and it created the 2 files. everything seemed to work just fine, flashed it in recovery (using CWM touch based recovery, maybe that has something to do with it) but nothing changed.
anyone know if ninjamorph will work? i am VERY comfortable with that app. may take a little longer, but if i know it will work, i would use that every time.

Nah, I just tried it myself.. Reflashed the image of my theme, with the normal keys in them.. And then used thst file as the build as stated.. And build it with the keys in. Update and undo zips are just fine, the systemui.apk has all images, but it doesnt replace the keys for me, neither. I will investigate further.. - Are you using a theme, mate? I'm asking you because if you do, I have an easy work around for you. PM me an answer.
Woops, I checked out Ninjamorph. And yes, if you can make it work, it should be fine. Basically you just extract the 10 images from my zip, then in Ninjamorph, navigate to system/app/systemUI.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi and put the 10 images there. If you can do that, you're golden. I managed to open my systemUI.apk, but didn't know how to get to other things, once in there, lol. But if you know how to use the app, just put my 10 images into the drawable-xhdpi folder.

Materialised theme thread in the general Themes and Apps section.
It's the only one I'm updating and monitoring.
Q&A
How to...
...install the theme:
The theme zips are not flashable. First installation has to be done manually:
Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
On SD card (if device has internal and external storage, use the internal) open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
Restart to recovery.
...change the theme:
In Materialised settings, select CHANGE THEME.
Select the theme zip you want to use.
Confirm the change.
...remove the theme:
In Materialised settings, select the delete icon on the app bar.
Confirm the removal.
Alternatively, delete the ui.zip from /sdcard/TWRP/theme with a file explorer.
...change the recovery splash screen
In order to change the splash, one must unpack the recovery image, replace the splash and then repack the image.
This can be done using the Android Image Kitchen by @osm0sis, which is available for Windows, Linux and Android (mobile AIK).
The Materialised theme provides a front end for using the mobile AIK.
General prerequisites:
Make sure the splash screen you want to use is in .jpg format and matches your screen resolution (e.g. 1920x1080).
Splash samples can be found along with the themes in the resolution specific download folders over here.
Download a stock TWRP recovery image for your device.
Samsung users have to download .img files or pull them from the .tar files. Repacking .tar files won't work.
Change the splash while in recovery:
Download the AIK-Mobile-Installer.
Flash the AIK zip in recovery.
This will install the required scripts and binaries to \data\local\AIK-mobile.
In Materialised settings, select CHANGE SPLASH.
Select the stock TWRP .img file.
Select the .jpg file you want to use as splash screen.
Set options:
If Automatically install... is unchecked, the repack will only be created and saved to the same folder as the stock TWRP image.
If checked, the repacked recovery will also be installed on your device.
If Include current theme... is checked, the theme in its current state (accent color) will be included in the repack, replacing the stock TWRP ui.
The ui.zip will automatically be deleted from /sdcard/TWRP/theme, as it is no longer required.
Be aware that changing the accent color won't be possible with an integrated theme.
In general, I'd recommend to not include the theme into the repack. By keeping the ui.zip, there's always the stock ui as a fallback option in case there's something wrong with the theme.
Start repacking/flashing with a swipe.
During the process, Repacking in progress... will be shown.
Change the splash on a Windows PC:
Download and unpack Android Image Kitchen Win32.
Copy the stock TWRP .img file to the Image Kitchen folder.
In windows explorer, drag & drop the recovery image on the "unpackimg.bat".
Unpacking will create two new folders (ramdisk and split_image).
Rename the splash of your choice to "curtain.jpg" and drop it into /ramdisk/twres/images.
Hit "repackimg.bat".
This will create a "image-new.img", which you can then flash away using your preferred method.
...install image files while in recovery:
The theme currently utilises the Flashify script by @osm0sis to install boot, radio and recovery images.
The script comes with the theme and will automatically be installed to /sdcard/TWRP/flashify if required.
On the Install page, tap on Install Zip.
Select Install Image.
Select the .img file you want to flash.
Select the image type.
This selection determines the target partition. Make sure not to flash a radio.img to the boot partition...
Start flashing with a swipe.
...use the AROMA File Manager:
AROMA File Manager is not part of the theme.
The theme just contains a "shortcut" for directly starting AROMA FM, rather than going through the "install > flash zip" procedure.
Download this flashable zip.
Flash the zip in recovery.
This will copy the Aroma FM package to \TWRP\aromafm.
In Materialised settings, tick the option to use Aroma FM.
From the main menu, the theme will now start Aroma FM instead of the TWRP file manager.
...resolve common issues
When I reboot to recovery, the theme isn't applied. Any ideas?
This is most likeley due to wrong naming of the theme folder or the ui.zip.
Make sure the folder is named "theme", without capital letters.
Also check if you accidentally renamed the downloaded zip to "ui.zip.zip" (common pitfall when renaming the zip in windows explorer).
When I reboot to recovery, I get a "recovery bootloop". Is my phone broken?
Nope, this is most likeley due to a bad download.
Please download the theme again using another browser or app.
Splash Screens and Recovery Repacks
Resources for creating custom Splash Screens
I've prepared a Splash Set for users to create their own splash screen from. The Splash Set contains:
an SVG file that can be edited using Inkscape
Roboto True Type Fonts (install them before you start to edit the SVG)
a folder with 1080x1920 sample curtains
Download: Splash Set
Preview: Gallery with sample splash screens created from the SVG
Collections of Splash Screens
If you want to share your splash screens, please prepare a post other users can download them from.
This post will then be linked from here.
Only splash collections will be linked (sets that cover multiple resolutions or accent colors for a certain resolution).
Collections of Recovery Repacks
If you want to share your recovery repacks, please prepare a post other users can download them from.
This post will then be linked from here.
Only repack collections will be linked (sets that cover all accent colors for a dark or light base version).

Will update the third post soon.
But: I will no longer provide repacks. 31 repacks for each device is just too much. Instead I've already released an SVG file with graphics users can create their own splashes from. There's also a how to for repacking images. Both can already be found in the Nexus 5 Materialised thread.
So for the future you'll have to create repacks yourself or wait for other users to step up and provide them.

I will worry about where to place what and how to get it there once L is official.
In the meantime I can't give the answers you require, as I don't use previews as daily driver but play with them using multirom.

Seriously? While you were busy shouting around for no reason, I did a quick search:
Install this app and set SE linux mode to permissive, afterwards you should be able to copy stuff to sdcard on the l preview.
You're welcome.

[TOOL GUIDE]Xperia Theme Creator

Hi.
I'm writing this guide, because not everyone knows how this Theme Creator from SOONY (Lollipop will be soon) works.
Firstly, download jar file from:
https://developer.sony.com/develop/smartphones-and-tablets/theme-creator/
As we know, u have to have a Photoshop CS6 as minimal requirement.
BUT Adobe give us a 30 day test version (only for home use) for free.
Just register and download tool:
https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/photoshop
In Theme creator we can work with GIMP.
Download the latest version from official site for free.
When you will run theme creator and select new theme,
in destination folder you will have "templates".
-Open one by one with Photoshop CC:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
-ucheck layers named " hide me":
-Select "File", " Save for web":
-don't change anything and click Save:
-select destination folder in your theme folder and export it:
This is everything where we need Photoshop.
Now u can edit file by file in theme creator using gimp:
-set gimp in advanced settings of image processing:
BUT: If you have weak computer, i've already uploaded package with all files, so all you need is:
-download RESOURCES.rar package,
-unrar it to theme folder,
-no need for photoshop, u can start with editing files one by one in theme creator using GIMP.
\/ RESOURCES.rar \/
http://www26.zippyshare.com/v/4sk6T8tX/file.html
TUTORIAL FOR THOSE WHO USING MY RESOURCES:
1. Download my RESOURCES.rar from the link.
2. Unpack it to directory you want to.
3. Open Theme Creator Beta and Create New project, with complete resources:
4. Open selected in creating new project destination folder and copy all folders from unpacked RESOURCES.rar to theme folder.:
5. Select png with theme creator you want to edit. You can choose with different resolutions (Description: http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html):
6. Click "Edit using external tool". For this time, it will be GIMP.
7. Edit your png as you want.
8. When You are done, press File >> Replace file_name.png.
9. Now You can take a look at Theme Creator to see changes.
ATTENTION:
-Never save image file from GIMP in theme folder in .xcf format.
-If you want to save your files with history of editing, select another folder far away from Theme folder.
ATTENTION 2:
-If you will see BIG RED CROSS, then take a look at picture size (px). must be same as original file.
-If you will see BIG RED CROSS and edited file was .9.png, check for absolutely black 1px borders (tutorial for 9.png can be found on xda.)
-If you will see BIG RED CROSS, take a look at theme folders and delete ALL .xcf files...
That's all.
For any question write in comments.
If u like it, click Thanks button.

@Krustnesis I'm having a hard time figuring out how to change navbar icons. When I open them up in an external edit program, it opens up in Gimp 2.8. Which is fine, then I try to replace with another icon, and then I press export too, and save it over the original. What happens next is that I get a red box with a blue X inside the box on the icon I changed which is not correct. In this case I tried to change the back key to lollipop triangle back key.
My question is, how do I do it using Gimp? Am I saving the file wrong?
BTW: I used the resources you posted.

I will come back to home and will add screens how to save the entire types of files for themer.
When you open any image file, check if it's not .9.png file.
If yes, then remember to add 1px border with black and "empty" pixels (tutorials on xda about .9.png files)
When exporting files, remember to save in theme folder ONLY theme pngs/jpgs, never save in this folder images in gimp format, because theme creator will take it as normal png and will show red X.

This method is redundant from V2.0 forward
1. Make sure you are on Stock firmware and have rooted device
2. Download mod zip
3. Install this app "Root Browser"
4. Extract the zip (click and hold, select extract) using Root Browser directly into Download folder. (you should have /sdcard/Download/(zip name) as folder with files in it)
5. Go into Download/(zip name) folder and select script for desired Emoji.
6. Tick "Execute script as root"
7. Then select the Execute button
8. It will say "Executing script"
9. Once complete you should have a popup box with no errrors.

Looking at the script and files, it looks to be the same font name, so no. It would take some trickery to have multiple emoji sets available on the same system.

I tried running your script and it did not work. Well, it appeared to have worked, rebooted, but all the emoji's are the same (not iOS 10).
I'm contemplating on manually doing it, as I've replaced system files in the past.
Edit: Just moved the file manually and changed the permissions to RW-R-R and it worked like a charm. I don't think your script is moving the file correctly ?
Anyways, thanks for the font packs!

I did both of these things, but okay.
I re-read your instructions and it appears that you're assuming there will be a folder with the name of the zip file under Downloads with the scripts in it. I extracted the zip contents into downloads and it put the scripts in downloads, and the sys folder in there as well. Perhaps this is where the confusion is? I see your script has the following path: /sdcard/Download/WETA_Pixel_emoji/sys/ios10/fonts/, where the bolded folder is the difference. When I extract your zip to the Downloads folder, it doesn't create this folder automatically (perhaps your version of Root Browser is set to do this).
I'm sure this will help anyone in a similar situation.

Root browser is not root explorer. Root browser extracts to a folder of the same name as the zip. This is why I link the app also. All I'm trying to do is make it as simple as possible for people who don't even know what a script is. If root browser is not extracting to that named folder then I'm sorry I got it wrong. I don't want people misled by any of this. Please confirm what root app you are using
Use root browser peoples just like the OP stated.

[GUIDE] [XT16XX] [BOOTLOGO] [How to create your very own Custom Bootlogo]

As we know, when we unlock our bootloader (to install TWRP, etc) on our Moto device, our regular Moto bootlogo is replaced with an annoying and unavoidable screen which says that “This device has been unlocked and cannot be trusted”. Now, this screen can be replaced but sometimes, the “Device ID: N/A” text obstructs any design or image you try to replace.
Take a look below.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So the simple workaround is - leave that area white and mask your image around it so it the text isn’t visible anymore. Like these images which I have created which cover the N/A text -
Now that you know how to workaround this annoyance, go ahead and create any design you want of you choice keeping this in mind. For your reference, I shall attach a sample image which points to the coordinates of the N/A text (see attachments below)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that you have the basics sorted, let’s get started:
What you will need:
1. Windows PC
2. Moto Boot Image Maker v2 (all credits to @caitsith2)
3. WinRAR + Notepad (if you want to change updater script)
4. Your desired image (in 1080x1920 px resolution, PNG/JPG)
5. Some patience
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to make a bootlogo:
1. Download these:
--> Moto Bootlogo Maker from HERE
--> Example logo.bin I've created for reference from HERE (credits to @rahulsnair)
2. Open MotoBootlogoMaker.exe and Go to File > Open > Select example.bin which you downloaded
3. Let the file load all components. Once loaded, Select Moto G (4th gen) as device from dropdown and then in the components list, Double click > Replace your custom image on the following entries:
logo_boot
logo_unlocked
yellow
red
orange
4. Once youre done with the above steps, go to File > Save As <Your bootlogo name here>
--> If you want to flash via fastboot then select save as .bin file
Use the following commands to flash via fastboot <fastboot flash logo logo.bin> (assuming you’ve named your file logo.bin)
--> If you want to flash via TWRP then select save as Flashable zip.
This is recommended as then all you have to do is transfer the zip to your Internal Storage and just flash the zip regularly via TWRP recovery.
5. If you choose to make a flashable zip and choose to customize a bit more, you could edit the UI text that appears on TWRP when flashing the zip.
To do so, open the zip you have created with WinRAR, within WinRAR, open META-INF > com > google > android > Open “updater-script” with Notepad.
Then you may change the text highlighted below to something of your choice. Hit “Save” from Notepad menu and close it. After you close Notepad, WinRAR will ask if you want to update changes to the zip archive - click on “Yes” and there - you have customized the UI Text on your custom made bootlogo. See images below -
6. Now all you gotta do is flash away If you guys want some reference, I’ve made a few bootlogos myself in my freetime, which I am attaching here as flashable zips too.
All the best guys! Have fun creating!
Leave me a thanks if you found this helpful - I'd appreciate that

When you click on save, the software takes a while to save the file. Around 5—10 seconds or so, or longer, as it strips down the large images that you might have into smaller ones. Wait till the indicator at the bottom left corner shows “done” or something similar.

If you need it only for several apps and you have Nova Launcher, it's easy, I made my own png's with 128x128 pixels with gimp and replaced the icon with Nova Launcher for my homescreen icons. For complete incon packs there are tutorials on YouTube for several launchers for example.
thank you very much for all the bootscreens
ps: i wonder if you made that invictaos logo bootlogo?
