Samsung MM-E430D Help needed. - Galaxy S III Accessories

Samsung MM-E430D - Audio docking for Samsung Galaxy S3
I bought this in December and enjoy it a lot. Music quality is very good. You can connect any bluetooth device. Charge your phone and most used function is, in my case, sleep mode.
Together with sugested software, Samsung Wireless Audio with Dock it is very easy to connect. Simply put phone to the dock and it enable BT and connect.
Anyway there is one small problem, where I need your help. I bought my Galaxy S3 just recently and I am completly new to Android.
My idea is like this: Morning my alarm goes on. I use alarm with my favorite playlist so basicaly music player. Instead of snooze or dismiss I would like to start dock and continue my daily routine wit the music on.
My problem is BT connection after switching dock off and back on. For some strange reason phone will not connect to dock. I found software for autoconnect BT devices, but the best I found was, that it will try to reconnect device after screen goes on. Problem is, that when alarm start, dock is still off.
Application from Samsung is here not usefull, because it will only switch BT on and process of connection is automatic then. In this case is BT already switched on.
Is there any application, which reconnect my dock in some circumstances? For example when phone detect dock and start charging?
Or any other smart solution I have no idea about?
Thank you, if you try to help.

So after a few months with the device I can recommend only tasker without lof tweaks and patient.

Bluetooth/car audio problems

I'm having trouble getting stereo audio to work correctly. I had a SGSII and it worked fine until I upgraded to ICS. At that point, it would only work with my car until I shut the car off and then I'd have to re-pair it. I tried CM9 experimental for the SGSII (which brought it up to Android 4.0.4) and that worked except I needed to turn bluetooth off and on again every time I got in the car. Due to other problems with the build I just decided to heck with it and ordered a Galaxy Nexus.
Here I am with the same Bluetooth issue I had with the CM9 build. It works, so long as I turn Bluetooth off and on before I get in the car and turn it on or shortly thereafter. I have Tasker, so I'm wondering how to get this fixed. Is there a permanent fix, or can I engineer some task that sees my car pairing, turns off Bluetooth, turns Bluetooth on and then doesn't repeat the task again until at least, say, five minutes?
FWIW, I'm running the stock Android build from Google.
bump
Not sure if this will be much help but I've had similar issues. When it screws up, i get a phone connection but not a media connection. My solution is not ideal, but it works. When i press the pause button on my car stereo, it will then connect to media and one more press of the pause starts the music playing.

I gave that a try, thanks. Unfortunately for me it doesn't help. The media app (doesn't matter which) reports it is playing, but there is no progress through the file. If I simply turn off Bluetooth, it starts going. Then I turn on Bluetooth and after a few moments it starts coming through my car stereo.
I have a cheap belkin receiver which I experience the same thing with. I'm glad to hear that it might be a software and not hardware issue.
When I get into my car I have to start the pairing from the belking device or the bluetooth might hang. Which I get around by either reboot or toggle flightmode onn/off.

Same problem with my stock 4.0.4 ICS Nexus.... but with a twist. I was able to toggle bluetooth off/on to get it to work until last weekend. Now no matter what I do media audio doesn't work. Tried un-pairing/re-pairing, rebooting the phone, and toggling media on/off.
So at this point, calls work fine on my stereo but playing media through the speakers doesn't happen. This bugs me to the point that I'm considering going back to my old HTC incredible with CM7 on it until the issue is fixed.

[Q] Bluetooth and Charging behavior

Just got my S3 4 days ago , so far i like it. But i noticed some things and wanted to know if those are "normal" for that phone.
Charging : When charging i plug it in , charging icon appears all is ok, screen lights up then turns off. That's ok, but during the night ( normally my charging time) the screen will turn back on and stays on, it doesn't go away unless i press the power button. Is this normal ?
Bluetooth : When using Bluetooth to listen to music in the car, the sound keeps going up and down at random intervals, it does that too when using the phone. I connect to my Kennwood Excelon head unit, it never did that before with my other phone.
I would have to say no. But need more information.
With charging are you using the stock charge unit? if so are you going direct to the wall or have you tried a different outlet to see if the issue is still happening. I plug mine in at night and the next morning the screen is off but I can't see my phone while sleeping.
With your bluetooth is it just the one device that is causing the volume issue? Have you tried different bluetooth devices to see if the issue still happens. Is your volume change happening with song changes or changing during the same song while playback.
Thanks for helping,
Charging is done with the Samsung Docking station and samsung cable that came with phone, i will try without the docking station.
Bluetooth , yes it's only with the Samsung, on my other phones before ( iphone and Xperia Arc ) everything was ok.
I noticed mine was doing the same thing on my Kenwood DNX7190HD. I didn't have any trouble from other phones either. However, I did turn off the automatic volume adjust for road noise and that seem to help some.

Official car dock problem.

Hi everyone,
I have an official htc car dock for my htc one x. The problem I'm having is that, when I insert or remove the phone from the dock, the phone will play the ringtone for a few seconds and also turn the screen on. This isn't a huge problem but it can be annoying having to turn the screen off ever time I use the dock. As I drive in my job, I have to insert/remove the phone around 10 times a day, so this little issue is getting annoying.
My question: is there a way to stop my phone both playing the ringtone and turning the screen on every time I use the dock?
I've hunted through the settings but there isn't a setting to stop this from happening.
I've rooted my one x and uninstalled bloatware, but other than that its stock o2 - uk. Software version 2.17.206.2
ok... so what happens if you manually launch the car app? Does it make this noise on car app launch or bt connect? Try triggering all automatic docking functions manually and find the culprit.
I get a beep on bt connect. Maybe that alert noise has been reconfigured in your sound profile somewhere?
I find mine's better behaved using automateit to kick off bt, dock app, volume settings and what have on dock state triggers. This way I have better control and with delays I can remove the phone from the dock without bt disconnecting for a bit. Obviously you need to configure unlock triggers too.
Worst case with automateit would be to temporarily turn down volume on docking maybe.
This has got to be fixable!

[Q] Car mode

Does G4 has car mode? Is there appropriate cable, car dock?
Also interested in knowing this.
I just got my Sprint G4 and Car Mode is working fine, including "home" going back to the car dock app. I'm using Car Dashboard for the app. I'm also using Bluetooth Car Mode to set the phone to car mode when it connects with my car.
It "just worked" for me... but I also did an LG Backup from my old G2 to the G4, and that transferred all this over to the G4.
There IS a car mode, but as far as I know, not launchable in the conventional sense. I use Tasker to activate car mode when I plug the phone into the car. You can also set it to car mode when connected to your car BT.
What does the car mode look like, or how could I try it out on my phone?
Nothing really - just an icon in the notification bar, and that screen brightness is at max. There's no Google Car Mode app or anything built in.
Can just add: when Car Mode is initiated, the call AutoAnswer becomes active and works without switching on Call auto answering in LG menu
I use Bluetooth Car Mode Starter to start car mode when the phone pairs with my car's bluetooth:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mohammadag.bluetoothcarmodestarter&hl=en
Prior to that, I used the Car Mode app to enable car mode manually:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.schwimmer.android.carmode&hl=en
(alternately, as mentioned about, you can use Tasker)
The Car Dock Settings app is helpful:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.cwfk.incar&hl=en
I've actually got the old Google Car Dock on my phone; I plucked the APK off my Galaxy Nexus and Google has moved it forward for me every phone I've had since. It's really ugly. As I said, I prefer "Car Dashboard".

I was trying to do exactly this. Do you know what activates car mode? I know I can use NFC but I was hoping to replicate a setup I had on my S4 where I plug into a dock and tasker detects it is in dock mode. If I recall on my Samsung S4 had to modify a USB cable for the S4 to detect this.
Cheers!

Within Tasker I can search for Car Mode, but I have no idea how to find and initiate merely from the phone.

[Q] Bluetooth autoplay on connect

Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem that I think shouldn't happen on this phone.
I'm stock with the latest January update on Android 10.
Info: this problem was present before the update to 10.
Whenever I connect any Bluetooth device (airpods, car, moto intercom ,etc) I have to manually unpause the music to get it to start.
This happens on every player (Samsung Music, Google Play, YouTube premium, etc)
This is the first Android phone I have that doesn't do this and that shouldn't be seeing it's top tier.
I've looked online and it seems that all Samsung phones have this feature and the only topics I get are how to disable it !?
Can anyone shed some light ? Is it happening to you as well ?
Thanks
I may not have the answer that you want to hear but I did find a temporary solution. There's an app in the play store nRF Connect that works. Slide over to bonded, put devices in pairing mode and hit scan and wah lah. Any questions I'll do the best I can to help.
I've noticed the same on my galaxy buds, but when I connect another pair of wireless earbuds that i sometimes use they connect as soon as i turn them on when Bluetooth is activated, without me manually having to go into the settings and do it. Not sure the reason for this. Would've thought the earbuds that's actually made by Samsung would be the ones connecting right away.

Hej...
I don't if this would help You...
When I got the Note 10+ there's Was, out of the box on initial settings, active few Bixby Routines... and that, till i figure out this, was driving me crazy... When I turn Bixby Routines off everything back to normal...
Well I've had a similar problem. For me the issue is that it always autostart even tho I have BT autoplay unchecked in the car. If I have listen to any music, audio books, podcasts and turn them of when I exit the car, not leave them in the background, they will start playing even if the cars media system is offline.
Works perfectly with my wifes OnePlus 6, but not for me. Extreamly annoying to noticed that the audio book is playing after a 60min drive and I haven't heard anything..
I tried the app Tasker, it was a compleat waste of $4 for me anyway, didn't work, will try nRF Connect now.
I don't want to have BT of due to that I aways have my Jabra buds with me so that I can talk while driving if needed.
