Do a Google for adb side load
Once you are in TWRP, you should be able to push the ROM to you KF2.
If your ADB drivers are playing up, have a look at booting from an Ubuntu live CD, then installing Soup kit from this of the dev forum.

You should be able to see your Windows drive. You will notice other files that windows normally keeps hidden as well.

If you read the instructions in the SoupKit thread, you'll find that on a LiveUSB there is no root password.

[Q] Accidentally wiped everything...now I'm stuck in TWRP

Hi everyone, I tried to root the kindle fire 1st gen and accidentally wiped the sdcard...So now I'm stuck in TWRP with no rom or backup. I tried to transfer files from pc to kindle, but the computer does not recognize the kindle anymore. Please give me some suggestions, thank you!
PS: My system is win 8 x64, installed KFU and android SDK. KFU shows online when the kindle fire logo shows up (it stucks there) but the boot mode is unknown. Also I can't use adb while the device is in recovery (trwp) mode.

Was it only the sdcard that you wiped or had you also wiped system?

I think it's the whole system...not too sure about that though. Now the problem is I can't connect to the pc while in twrp recovery (adb won't work), and if I booted normally, the adb will work.
Tom
First of all don't worry as long as your TWRP is working.
I did the same thing while changing one rom to another, accidentally wiped everything.
What you need to to do is
1. Download KF rom. I like twa's rom and gapps zip on your computer.
2. Connect your Kindle fire to your windows desktop.
3. Start the KF, go into TWRP recovery.
4. Click mount option. Now you should see KF as usb drive in your windows desktop.
5. Paste both rom and gapps into backup folder, which is inside TWRP folder.
6. Eject the KF usb drive successfully and THEN click unmount option on the Kindle fire display.
7. Now in TWRP screen, go to install option, go to the copied Rom and install it, gapps- install it and clean catches and dalvinick catches and reboot the system.
8. This should start the KF with new rom. Now through file manager app, go back to backup folder in TWRP and move to other location, if you want.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion. however, I tried this method but the computer does not recognize kindle fire as a usb. Actually kindle fire is gone from the computer and adb not working. Do you know why it's like this? Thank you for your time.
That is strange.
Can you try connecting it to another computer? May be it might work.

Try
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2459498
This worked for me - key was that I needed to use the usb drivers in his signature. This allowed me to atb over anyway - still can't see it on computer as a usb device.
I'm facing a similar issue but my device is Moto G5s Plus.
The problem I'm facing is that I accidently wiped out the mobile's system completely, and now it does not even have an "internal storage" partition at all (since it shows 0 MB). Hence, I cannot even transfer any files to my mobile because my computer does show the phone detected but no "internal storage exists".
Please help me out..

Wiped kindle fire HD using TWRP not being detected by pc

i rooted my kindle fire a couple of days ago and then decided to try and install cyanogen mod, to no avail then i was stuck in blue screen repeat and my younger brother who i admit is more tech-savvy than myself managed to get into [TWRP] and he [FORMAT DATA] i don't even have the slightest of idea of how to fix this nor does he, help?
Formatting data shouldn't have been a problem, you sure you installed a ROM for your device and that you did a factory reset beforehand?

Nope, no ROMS on the Device, and when i connected it to the PC i got the JEM-PROD-4 error but i manages to fix that with your modified adb drivers, i just want to get the standard kindle OS back i learnt my lession here g-store and root is good enough, if it isn't broke don't fix it.
I heard factory cable are :/ on the KFHD8.9
I want to restore it to its original state
Is there anyway to maybe push a system image onto the kindle? i installed the ADB as i said before but my kindle still isn't being permanently detected
Just use kindle fire first aid to fix it, its in the 7" general section, also I highly recommend installing a custom ROM, you just have to make sure to put the ROM and gapps on the sdcard ahead of time to make it easy on yourself. If you do decide to do it again just ask for some help when doing it and I'll be glad to post back.

I thought you said it was.

ah its being detected my bad, the KFFA Tut is somewhat difficuilt to understand no videos around?
The eight step of the guide is baffling Kindle Fire First Aide Step 10 tells me to get onto the kindle when it is wiped and locked in kindlefire blue logo repeat i can get into TWRP but thats about it, and also to fix bootloader i need to have superuser/root and i no longer belive that is on here since the wipe
OK I'm not one to go against instructions unless I know what I'm doing, but if you already have java installed, have you tried just running run me.bat? Also what's confusing by in that step? I'm a PC tech so I understand it, but you don't so I don't know which part is confusing.

broke it down re-arranged it understood did it, i need a factory cable but i hear 8.9 doesn't so i just want to download a system image and smack that onto the kindle i'm download KFDH_SRT_V2.1 right now but i don't know where i should put it in the KFFirstAide directory,
downloading from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011126 or do i have to tuse the official tool and if so can i get a link.?
constanly updating here, discovered that The tool was in the image or vice-versa and then went to run it only for every time i attempt a CMD command it says fastboot is not recognized as an internal or external command so i can't upload the image to my kindle do i have to move the folder or a file?
Managed to get it to work, go into fastboot and then whatever command i run with fastboot -i 0x1949 flash boot boot.img and the recovery one gives me an errror : flash boot boot.img
error: cannot load 'boot.img': No error :/
after spending at least 5 hours scrolling through thread after thread i give up, is there like a kindle unbricking shop or should i just crack the screen and try to get a use on the warranty?only owned this for 5 days.
OK how do I begin... I don't know what you were trying to do with kfhd SRT by putting it into the kffa directory. Try just downloading the system restore tool, and running it and seeing if you can restore it. From the sounds of it I don't know what you did but the boot.IMG was missing from the kfsrt directory.

Kindle Fire Stuck on Loading Screen

Hi, about a month ago, I installed the GO Launcher EX on my stock 6.3.3 Kindle Fire 1st Gen. The same day, I decided to make the Launcher my default Launcher. Later, it began to start running slowly so I hard reset it. It now does not boot up and is stuck perpetually on the loading logo.
Didn't install twrp?
If not is logo animated/changing or not.
If animated may need a fastboot cable
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
I do now have a fastboot cable. I didn't install anything and the logo is animated. What do you suggest?
How to flash twrp and firefirefire with a Fastboot cable
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53652317&postcount=2
Then you can wipe data in twrp or reinstall stock.

I am stuck on the same step. Not sure the number, but I rooted, installed go launcher, and was going to install twrp with a utility (I forget which one because I have tried to use so many of them to get out of the mess I'm in) and when it rebooted my device into fastboot/recovery, it stuck on the splash screen that says kindle fire, the 'kindle' text is white and the 'fire' text is orange. My device manager says Android Phone > Android ADB Interface. From what I have read and understand, I need to have the driver showing Android Phone > Android ADB Composite Interface. I can't seem to find the appropriate driver anywhere.
The worst part about this is that I started this for my mother in law so she could have a fully functioning tablet, and now it's a warm fancy paperweight.
I appreciate any help, or just point me to the correct thread. Can't seem to find anything anywhere.

No when in Fastboot it should just say Android ADB Interface
follow my Using Factory/Fastboot Cable to Flash FFF Bootloader and TWRP Recovery
You don't need the fastboot cable, just start with step "Download ADB/Fastboot.exe Files from"

Trouble Rooting First Gen Kindle

I have been trying to use the KFU to root, but at the end of the command prompt, it says Waiting on Device. I have left it like this for 15 minutes to no avail and I can interact fully with the kindle. I'm running 6.3.3 on the kindle and windows 8 on my laptop. I have tried installing the drivers but no matter what I do, the kindle still shows up as Kindle Fire in device manager, although if I click the drop down arrow, it says Android Composite ADB Interface. When I load up KFU, it registers that the device is connected and says ADB Status: Connected, but Boot Status is unknown. I don't know what to try, can anyone help?

Yes I can get to twrp, but I cannot boot into the OS. If I boot up and select boot normally, it goes to the orange kindle fire logo then the screen cuts off. I'd like install CM 10 which I have downloaded on my laptop.

Just use mount sd card option in twrp.
mount>check sd card >mount usb
should get a popup in windows>click view files
copy CM10 and Gapps to sd card
unmount usb in TWRP
wipe>factory reset
install Cm10 and gapps

[Q] Help

So I am in a bind.
I had TWRP and N2K type utiltiy that was working. i tried to wipe and reset and here is where i am now.
so i have a first generation kindle fire. i load TWRP and get to recovery boot which brings me to team win. TWRP is version 2.6.3.0.
I do not have access to the kindle drivers. so the only thing i can do is access it though mount.
so i mounted the device and added the most recent update (changing it to update.zip) but its not working. it still starts with the blue kindle fire setting and only in TWRP. i cant recover it to normal. when i go into the device i only have 2 folder. TWRP and .android_secure.
i just want to know how to get back to factory settings. I tried using a kindle boot device but it wont recognized the kindle because it is only recognizing it as a usb drive.
any ideas? not sure what other information you need to help. please help - thanks!
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.
