Umm this is the "VX" forums i dont know if its the some procedure as the VX for s-off for your One V,
If you HTC Dev unlocked and s-off and reads s-off
got to fastboot and flash TWRP Recovery for you Phone not the VX
then from there see if you can boot into twrp recovery

htc one vx not working

f vx is the same, what I'm trying to say is that I have all custom recovery which is to make profit not start just left on the planet. And it comes up completely,
I flashed boot.img and stock and stock fimware and accomplished nothing, there would be a solution??

if you already have twrp flashed, then find a Rom for your phone Htc One V, dont use the VX ones here, put it on the sdcad then flash to phone

[q] help required htx one on orange (uk)

Hi all.
I have just received my HTC ONE X on ORANGE UK. I had it unlocked and works well with other networks.
Problem I have is:
1. How can I get rid of the ORANGE UK branding?
2. Revert the software to the ORIGINAL HTC ONE X Software?
I looked thru the Q&A and didn't really find the answer i was looking for. I am a newbie as i have always had the iPhone 4S.
I presume this involves changing the ROM? How?
A Step by step guide would be brilliant.
Thanks Kindly
I believe that you will need to unlock your Bootloader at HTCDev (which will void all warranty) and follow this thread. This will allow you to install any One X ROM you want.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592355
The latest stock HTC software is 1.28.401.9

Unlocking the bootloader, rooting, installing a custom recovery and flashing a custom (or official unbranded) ROM will get you where you need to be...
However, if you have never rooted a phone before this one isn't the best to start on. I would recommend waiting until some of the bugs have been ironed out, like charging in fastboot, the posibility of a one click root, or a fully s-offed process.
If you can be patient, (and the bloat isn't too bad - for Orange anyway) I would recommend waiting.
I had a rooted, s-off desire on Orange, have unlocked and s-offed a bunch of various HTC phones belonging to friends, but even I'm delaying for a while to see how development pans out.
I hate sense too.
@shrubz
Hi thanks. Well I got thru the Bootloader ok. Now I am on step 9 of the recovery. I am not sure which ROM to select in step 4?
UPDATED 13/4 Official Clockworkmod Touch Recovery 5.8.2.7
Can you help please?
I don't know which one to select as there is this one from http://clockworkmod.com/rommanager
HTC One X (GSM) Download Recovery & Touch Recovery
I would recommend Android Revolution HD
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562603
Version 3.1 is the latest build with sense. I ran ARHD on my Sensation and its very stable. I'll be running it once I'm sure my device is fault free.

Hi i have downloaded Android Revolution HD What's next as I am lost now
Thanks
have you installed a custom recovery? if so move the downloaded ROM onto you one x, reboot into recovery, choose "install zip from sdcard". Then "choose zip" and point it at the zip of the rom you downloaded.
@f4flake.
All I have done so far is the unlocked the Bootloader.
Thanks
go to this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592355
Go to the section on installing a recovery in the first post.
Follow that through.

If you follow the link I posted in the 2nd post that will give you all the steps you need to prepare to flash a custom ROM, including the custom recovery image.
After that pick a ROM, I recommend ARHD, then follow the instructions in the ROM thread to flash the ROM.

Hi all. Well this morning i managed to flash the recovery file. Now stuck on final part of installation Need a factory HTC file i guess? and instructions to flash it. Appologies for the dumbness here, I am just recovering from a stroke so everything is hard work as it is difficult for me to understand. Thanks for your patience.

Hi
Have you saved the recovery image in the fastboot folder on your computer with your fastboot files?
Try
fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.2.7-endeavoru.img
Looks like you missed the word recovery from your command and omitted the file extension.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
just to add to that make sure it is on your C drive which is easier and make a fastboot folder with all the contents of it mate..then just follow the guide i PM'd you with

You may want to stop trying to flash ROMs for the wrong phone.
Oh, and the forum for your phone might be able to help more. This here forum is for the Tegra3.

No. The AT&T version (also known as the One XL) has an S4 chipset and the International One X has a Tegra 3 chipset. They are not even remotely compatible.
Go to the correct forums. We cannot help you here.

First off unless youve bricked your phone i dont see a reason why you would want to return to stock ROm. I myself though have followed this tutorial and can confirm that it does work, since ive bricked my phone 2 times <.< .... but anyway heres the tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1706070 hope it helps

Even though we have the same processor and stuff im not sure how rom compatability works between the two phones. AFAIK the kernels aren't built EXACTLY for the vivow_ct even though we use the same source (maybe idk what im talking about someone verify me)
anyways make sure you're running the correct hboot and proper recovery.
If you do have a custom recovery, try booting into it or go into the bootloader (press vol down and power) and go back to stock from an ruu
Are you S-on or S-off? What ROM were you trying to load? More info is needed than what you gave. The more info the more helpful we could be
