Was in China recently and purchased this Power Bank.
(Sorry can't post a link to the device due to my new status on XDA. Just search Pisen - Power Station 10000 mAh
It's 10,000 mAh which can recharge your phone 4x over! It's basically four 2,500 mAh batteries in one. Have had no issues with it so far.

Yes,it is very hard to buy the real capacity power bank ,because the market is so complicated .The price range is huge .Quality is very different .But you can still buy the satisfied power bank from Chinese supplier .

Can you tell, if the discharge rate is high, or does it keep the electricity for months? I'm planning to get a Power Bank myself, so I gather some information.

i was thinking about getting this one from Anker
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BLCS724/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1
looks good, and has a built in micro usb plug, so you don't have to carry any cable with you.

Galaxy Note battery

I'm enjoying my Galaxy note, but I'm badly looking for extra batteries and external charger. Where one battery is enough for most I need to use 3 batteries in a day for the kind of usage I do.
Anyone with any information of Galaxy Note please post here.
Thank you
Anil
They sell batteries and chargers at expansys.co.uk, but I dont think they have the items in stock yet.
To confirm, expansys does sell Galaxy Note batteries as well as a charger for the battery (a charger that will directly charge the battery instead of having to swap them into/out-of your phone). However, they won't get them in for a while, as their site listed in-stock arrival date as late november. However, for your heavy usage you may want to check out the "ZaggSparq 2.0" from Zagg, the makers of invisibleSHIELD. It's basically a battery that you plug into the wall and then bring with you and it has two USB ports to charge, and it will charge up the Note's battery a couple times over. Here are the specs:
6,000 mAh Lithium Polymer
Has the power to charge most smart phones four times
4 yellow lights indicate power level, 25%-50%-75%-100%
Has the ability to charge multiple USB devices simultaneously
Max output: 2000mA @ 5V
Power Source: 100-240 VAC @ 50/60 Hz
Physical Size 3.5 x 3.5 x 1 inches
Weight 8.6 ounces
Just something to check out. Google it for more info (I would post a link but I don't have a high enough post count to do so).

hi there!, I am also looking to buy an extra battery, could you tell me where can I find a spare?
thanks!
I just ordered a these from ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-2600mAh-...514884?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3a6ccd9284
two batteries for 10 dollars and free shipping. what a steal.
Quality is, ofcourse, unknown, but some extra juice always comes in handy.
There are various external chargers showing up on ebay now.
They appear oto be YiboYuan chargers - I have one for my mytouch 4g and I was pretty happy with it.

That's my kind of a smartphone user! I have te same problemwith my Note. And it is really annoying...
The best advice you will ever hear....maybe not so applicable to the note....
Every phone you or your friends buy, buy the extra 3 batteries and wall charger off ebay for $12.
Men - put one in your wallet, it is the thickness of about 4 credit cards
Women - put it in your purse.
Unlimited battery life!

D seven battery ebay uk

top selling battery brand for samsung galaxy note in East at moment, and i have done many search about d seven galaxy Note battery .the feedback not bad,so i recommed d-seven .
Backup batteries don't need to be super quality - just enough to last you till you can get your other battery charged.
All you need is one of these, TeckNet Yoobao Series - Dual-Port 11200mAh External Battery Pack http://www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet-Yoobao-Dual-Port-11200mAh-Blackberry/dp/B000X30AYA
Ive had one for a while now and they are a complete lifesaver... charge the phone completely 2x at least, and its compact and good looking. I wouldnt waste my cash on crappy batteries when you can buy stuff like this that does the job 100x better and can be used on almost any device you have. Simples.

yeah i need to see those reviews too.
i had tecknet external charger once , bought it from their website (not from amazon), the 8000mah dual usb port , and to be honest it was a total rip off !!! it charges my desire HD very very slow ! (slower than normal USB charging) and it only worked for a few hours !!! after that it just didt charge anything at all !!!!
i returned it for refund or replacement and till now i got nothing! they claim they didnt get the unit yet and its been 3 months , add to that the shipping and unit return fees were handled by me.
so its a pretty bad experience with tecknet , if i were u , i would stay away bcos their products r very unreliably so does their support.

Did you send it back to them by RECORDED delivery and signature? If not then you really have no-one to blame but yourself, as if it was sent igned and recorded then you have PROOF that it was sent and recieved.

[Q] External battery: yes/no, what?

After a year I would like to power my battery with ad external help.
Does external batteries work well for that?
There are better brand to choose?
There are particular skill to search for?
I would like to use it with several devices
I've been using various Anker products with great success and no issues so far (just search at Amazon, I can't post external links yet). The reviews are also quite positive and the price tag seems fair.
/e: ok, there's already a thread on that topic.
For me, external batteries are a must. I have 2 (cheap ones from ebay) and although they don't have any extreme features, they give me some little extra power to get through the day.
I have one with the form of a LEGO ^^
(4000mah)

external battery
If you need to charge several device at the same time, I suggest you buy the one which have several outputs. And you must notice the Output current because different device need different current, for example,1A can charge all of the mobile phone but can't charge your ipad, if you need charge ipad, you should choose 1.5A or 2.0A. That is to say, if you need charge ipad and iphone at the same time, you need buy the battery which has two outputs 2.0 and 1.0.
As for the brand, choose the ones who have passed MFI certification will be better, but the price will be much higher, So I think brand is not very important, the most important is the quality and price. Hope it is helpful for you.
If your devices don't make it to the end of the day and the battery is still acceptably new, you should go for an external battery.
But, before buying one, you should really consider whether you're wasting your battery: do you keep your internet connection active all the time? Do you use WiFi when possible? Do you switch to Airplane mode when you are somewhere with little to no signal? Is your GPS/Bluetooth/NFC activated even when you're not using them?
There's a lot of small things that may help you make it through the day without an external battery

For me, external batteries are no necessary,I'd like to use power bank.I bought a 12000 mAh power bank from Amazon.Just throw it in handbag or backpack,I would never worry having enough power.

I would recommend it!
Hi, my opinion is that no external battery, but more internal capacity if. I have the 9300 mah zerolemon for note 2 and it's going very well, although a little heavy, but worth it. Regards

[Q] Which power bank should i bought?

Some days ago, my iphone 6 can not support whole day use as the playing game .
So I searched iphone 6 external battery in amazon and find Plush cartoon toys power banks AD below. I am not sure it is really cool as the description .
Also I found a external power bank here :
The battery capacity is only 2000mAh but it is beautiful.
Which one I should bought or do anyone find the similar high capacity like 6600mAh but cheaper one in other place?
You can find MANY power banks on eBay. Of various sizes, colors, forms, you name it. Problem is finding one that is at the right price! I'm searching for one too, maybe around 6-10 Ah. But... it's hard to choose!

You can buy any of the Xiaomi Powerbanks, they are quality products and you will be satisfied with your bought
I prefered the 10.400 mAh powerbank, but there are two others in 5000 mAh y 16.000 mAh, too with different sizes, but very well finish alloy aluminium.
I would just go for the cheapest with highest capacity thats not a shoddy brand.
i recommend you to go for Xiaomi power banks.
there is 10400mAh and 5000mah available..
I has stores enough juice to power ur iphone for 2 to 2.5 full charges.
the authenticity of the power bank can be found out by the barcode available on the box.. if its fake u will know it immediately by checking it on their website.
be care full there are lot of fakes. Xioami doesn't have power banks in gold color and in 16000mah.
its just 10400 or 5000 mah

[Q] Any good SAFE and NOT-chinese power bank?

Ebay has so many kinds of these power banks with huge sizes. I doubt that is real, so i wanted to ask if anybody has reasonable size (not over 3k or 4k mAh), that is safe and not made in China?
Buying something Chinese is really bad, literally every thing i have from china has broken in the first day. And i do not want to buy something electronic like that battery pack from china that could explode or something. All i need is a power pack that could charge around 75% of my battery. I do not need some huge thing. I simply can not get my phone to last throughout a normal school day on normal usage.
Look at the ones Anker offers. They are not cheap but worth every cent.
I have got a large one with about 6000 mAh. But they have also got smaller ones.
Most of their batteries are able to deliver high charging currents, which enables you to charge your phone just as fast as on AC power.
I can really recommend Anker.

Though I read your "no china" criteria, I would still suggest you to try out the Mi Power Bank. I have been using it for almost 4 months now, and although I had my own reservations regarding a Chinese product that could (literally) kill me, it has been terrific till date. It charges up the phone at almost the same rate as the wall charger, and it itself charges up pretty fast. Comes in two sizes- 5200 mah and 10400 mah. The 5200 mah power bank is what I have, and it is sufficient to fully charge my N5 and charge a Grand 2 upto 20-25%. Plus, it is a lot cheaper that the power banks made by Sony and likes.
Btwn..It actually comes from Xiomi, the makers of Mi3 which has been one of the most successful phones in 2014. This is the only thing I relied on while getting the power bank, and boy am I happy with it.
I didnt knew sony makes power banks too, and thanks for suggestions!
Also, during decharging, does the power bank heats up? (When i charge my phone with the power bank)

No it does not. You can see some YouTube reviews if that helps you. Not sure if you are bothered about it but the finish of the body is the best I have seen on power banks.
FYI
I have NEWNOW power bank. I can charge my n5 for about 5 times completely. Its capacity is 10400mAh. Has 1A and 2,1A charging ports. With the 2,1A port charges my phone fully in about 15-25 minutes. Highly recommend!

It's impossible to full charge the phone in less than 30minutes, certainly not at 2.1A.
Also that looks like a cheap Chinese charger to me. When you see 10,000 maH ($20) for less than the price as most 5000mAh you can assume that they lied about the specifications.
Xiaomi asks 19$ to ship Mi Power Bank to Romania from its European hq! Isn't that a little bit too much?
I've read through this thread because I have the same question. Are there any power banks actually not made in China once you scratch all the "it's made in China BUT" comments?

[Q] Best experiences with external battery backups?

Just ordered a Zenfone 2 to replace my old S3. Love the phone, but hate the non-removable battery. Took the leap anyway because of the price. What are your best recommendations for battery backup units in the ~6000 mAh, ~12000 mAh, and ~20000+ mAh ranges? I figure I can snag a small backup that can fit in a pocket and a larger one I can leave in my car/bag/backpack. Which ones have you guys experienced that are long lasting and charge effectively? Ones that are resilient? Anything to the gimmicky seeming solar charging backup units from the like of ZeroLemon or another producer?
Aukey has a "Quick Charge 2.0" battery pack that should quick charge the phone way faster than any other option out there. Other than that I'd just watch the usual deal forums, etc. to find well reviewed models on sale.
My assumption has always been that tiny solar panels probably take forever to replenish your battery pack, but I can't say I have any firsthand experience.

I would ONLY buy Anker brand. a lot of usb mobile batteries dont have power output to charge a phone that is also in use, and also have a heavy degradation after multiple uses. I was in a jam and bought a second battery at a CVS when i was out of town on business once and left my Anker brand at home, and after 3 uses it no longer could charge my phone faster than i was using it (talking on the phone).

Is the lifespan of Anker brand backups well known to be good? I'm thinking I'll buy two of the same unit so I can quickly swap them out of my bag when they die.
I'm getting the Mi Power Bank...the 10000 mah version can be had for $14 usd. Only downside is you have to wait for the "flash" sale. There will be one tonight at 9 central time(US).

I looked at getting one....however Asus wanted to charge $14 for ground shipping....ordered the Mi Power bank earlier....and they charged $5 to ship. With stock in the US, there is no way Asus should be charging that much for ground....Express shouldn't cost that much! Also....I wanted the Mi Band lol
I ended up ordering two of the 13000 mAh and one 6400 mAh backup, all from Anker. They were all Amazon Prime so I got free fast shipping, and they offer their version of Quick Charge so it should be a solid option for me. I'll update with my experience after I've had them for a bit if anyone cares.

Oh I am sorry to hear that man. Did you check eBay? Coz i got mine with the phone. If i deduct the phone price, the zenpower was only $10 plus shipping was free coz it was with the phone anyway. Mi is equally good. I am done with massive brands such as Samsung.. we mostly end up paying for their advertising, marketing and brand name.
