A sales person from AT&T noticed a accessory that referred to something about a dock with a promo price. It was $1. Part #09236. I had him go ahead and ship it. I have no idea what it is.
Any clues?

I ordered it as well, through the same manner...called in and asked what accessories they had, that popped up as a "dock" (the only one beside the laptop I might add) and I ordered it because the customer service rep immediately said "and of course I'll waive the 5.99 shipping!"
That was on the 22nd. The order status page backorded it a few days ago, then cancelled =/

My order is still on processing. I ordered a car dock today and it shipped today. I called and ask a rep why this ones still processing. What a butthole she was! I'm very polite when I talk with reps. Come tuesday when it's not here, I'm providing a free verbal lashing.

Just checked it in our POS, and it now says 'PVT TEST SKU MOT'
Sorry, but I doubt if you'll recieve anything other than an email from at&t saying your order was stopped.

They're super fast at the moment. I sent a desire (required a new motherboard and lcd) on Thursday last week and got it back Tuesday.
You'll need to send the paperwork they email to you and your phone with all covers, battery, sd and sim cards removed. My experience with the UK repair centre has been generally very good and I've used it for about 12 different phones.

I usually did but a couple times I didn't and nothing was mentioned. If you can send it then do but without you'll probably be ok.

When I phoned the asked for proof of purchase for the handset. It was actually my friends phone I was repairing and I just told him to send me a screenshot of the Paypal transaction. Everything went smoothly even though the proof of purchase had somebody elses details on it lol
They collected it on a Monday and I got it back on the Thursday.
Mine was a transaction done over XDA, so I'll try what raze599 suggested .
I noticed my Orange branded sim card cover doesn't fit perfectly .

Hi, I have multiple dead pixels and will need to get it repaired, will I need to return it to stock eg hboot, CID etc. I got mine new and sealed from Ebay will this effect my chances of a repair under warranty as its not a official reseller.
If you're in the UK you'll be fine. Send in your paypal receipt. I've done it lots of times. You'll need to be unrooted stock hboot.

HTC repair centre and HTC themselves are a complete and utter shambles. You might get it sorted in a few days or you could have no phone for 2 months......toss a coin, close your eyes, and hope for the best!
They went through a bad patch aboot two months ago but they're pretty sorted now. I've sent aboot twenty blowers back for repair with the UK service centre so I know what I'm talking aboot.

Well called HTC yesterday, they are picking it up Monday. I wasn't asked to provide proof of purchase by the representative but the documentation that was sent to my email requires that I send Proof of purchase along with a document I must sign.
I bought my Desire HD of Ebay sealed and new however as this is not recognised as a official reseller the warranty is a grey area some people are being given repairs.
Just send it without the receipt. You'll be fine. I do it all the time.

My friends phone was used from eBay. We just provided the paypal transaction screenshot and all was well.
I took a screenshot of the paypal transaction so will have to wait and see i will report back whether they repair it or not for future reference.

The only pre-order I ever did (Droid X) can via fedex to my office. No option was given to get at the store.

the idea of preordering a phone is so that you receive it in the mail the same day it's available to buy in stores. maybe a little earlier if there's a mistake in shipping.
Just to let everyone in the UK know, Phones4u have the HTC One X for pre-order on sim only which also includes the media link adapter all at £499.95.
I cancelled my amazon order and ordered through P4U. On live chat the guy said that sim only pre-order have only gone up in the last hour so pre-order quick if you want too.
Just some info for everyone

I ordered gunmetal gray on Friday early afternoon through htc.com which redirected me to Sprint. Got the shipping notification Friday evening, about 6 hours later. Due to arrive Tuesday.

I'm sure everyone is excited. Digital River's service-level is average at best -- the person answering your email (or rather selecting which script to send you) has no authority to speak to you on a human level. All they see is no stock, hence your email, and that's that.
I'm getting mine from tmobile on monday. before 3pm. i orderd the gold on silver. I wish i order the gunmetal....

Got the unlocked one from HTC, full price.

The funds were on hold at the bank since this AM but they aren't any longer. They didn't take them either.
