Hello guys,
I manage to get the GS4 Camera apps running on GS3 JB 4.2.1 Leaked Version. Is still buggy but still usable for normal photo taking task. While working to fix the bugs, I thought of sharing this mod for anyone who wish to try this and maybe someone could help in fixing the bugs.

What is working and not working
1) Rear camera works fine up to 8mp setting. Could take photo with setting at 13mp but result is terrible.
2) Front camera works fine too.
3) Flash is working
4) Video recording is not working!
5) Beauty Face feature working
6) Best Photo feature working
7) Best Face feature working
8) Sound&Shot feature seem working
9) HDR feature working
10) Eraser feature working
11) Panorama not working
12) 360 feature not working
13) Sports feature working, I think so.
14) Night feature working
15) Effects like sepia, vintage, etc, not working
16) And Dual camera...too bad, is not working
17) Others settings - not yet tested.
Allright, if you wish to try, here is how:
(As usual, flash this at your own risk)
1) Make sure you are on Deodexed Samsung JB4.2.1 (XXUFMB3)
2) Download the zipfile below
3) Backup your phone.
4) Clear cache & Dalviks cache in cwm/twrp
5) Flash the zipfile
6) Reboot
7) Enjoy

With some nice tweaking I think this could be a excellent camera. Might jusy flash 4.2 tonight to see what its like so far

I think you have done as well as you have so far. Up to noww thwre is a working camera on your phone, with some nice features. Keep it up :thumbup:

I downloaded the zip and installed it via clockwork. Its working fine but I also still have my stock camera that works also. Which is pretty cool since I didnt want to loose my voice activated camera I did a full backup before just to be safe tho

Good man. To say the least. THIS **** IS DOPE AS A MOTHER ****ER! It is very forgiving when messing up and the stitching is better than the 4.1(.1) app.
took this just now in roughly 15 seconds. I tried my damndest to mess it up and it still did a beautiful job.

how did you upload it to maps?
When you're viewing the finished 360° image, touch the screen to bring up the overlay. There is a sharing button with a logo or drop-down list when touched. Simply touch the maps logo and it takes you to the Maps sharing interface.

Probably not, it requires some libraries to be copied over.

Liking the ROM so far and GPS lock is instant which is a huge plus, ROM is smooth and haven't had no issues.

4.2 video recording is broken as stated I'm the second post. You can download the 4.1 camera package to gain video recording back.

This is just lightning fast and smooth.....really great.
I had a market issue and can't download says RPC error
This was after a full wipe and fresh install
Also what I assume is a battery bar at the very top a thin white line. I don't see the option
To disable that, did I miss it somewhere?

Works ok (even officially includes Russian!), but there are some problems (on the leaked MIUI v5 ROM):
1. Mic animations are distorted sometimes
2. Voice commands work in camera only.
Maybe those issues are due to the the ROM, but had to note them.

I agree i installed and everything works fine except foe the couple of point he mentioned and also facebook just wont work i tried to log out then in again but it says only one account supported

1. I backed up the new version of s-voice with titanium
2. I restored the old version (app + data) with titanium
3. I restored the new version (only app, no data)
works

Facebook updates works perfect for me, in fact everything works or seems to work perfect. In driving mode it won't make my tea for me it gives the rubbish about "for your safety in driving mode I can only do limited things" stupid phone.....make my tea!!!!

Only for Gnex and android 4.2.2
Installed on my Gnex SlimROM V6 Amazing camera. Well done

apparently my apk was crashing with photosphere , so i found a apk on the web (was it android central?) , I DO NOT take credits for the "updated" apk that wont crash with photosphere , i just repackage it into a zip ,|
edit : uploaded the newer apk , it should not crash when you go to photosphere mode and they have a nice cute mini tutorial now

Yeah, you're right. That kinda blows, Cuz I like the new ui. Oh well gonna reinstall the old gallery2.apk

Really? I get force close of gallery 3d when I attempt to edit. Temp workaround is to have two cameras installed - I have cm camera and new camera, use cm gallery to edit. I believe you would lose tiny planet ability this way. I wonder if we muddy need to grab a new play services app

Did you install apk to system/app, or flash zip? I installed to system/app

Simple solution to force close on gallery edit mode - just install apk as a normal app. Worked on Toro running cm10.1

I found that all camera present in S3 section have camera FC when you want to use Photosphere. Well,this camera has photosphere FIX and is based on latest android 4.4.2 KitKat for Nexus 5.

Just need to find someone that can port over hdr+..

I've wiped cache and dalvik then flashed your camera. Now i have 2 camera apps and 2 gallery. How do I get rid of one of them ? CM 10.2 05/12
Works fine on CM11 unofficial ROM also. Have the same issue as above poster I now have 2 gallery apps and 2 cameras.

Why all devs are against me ? Have you shared your camera ? No, so i did it. So all people can flash this, not only people that flash Glamour and Smartphone rev

Noones against you? I have even offered you help with your rom previously? And we never did/are going to release, just a little experiment we decided to do.

I am using MIUI 3.11.29 based on 4.1.1 and it is working.
Feels little bit slow but Photosphere panorama video all modes are working.

what the difference with 4.3 version ?
I still using 4.3 version
yet does the gallery editing for FC ? if not mistaken when edit the photo using the gallery will FC
try disabled one gellay
