but there is two types replacement touch screen and Replacement LCD Screen + Touch Digitizer
which one should i choose?
my screen is broken and the touch is moving crazy and the bottom of screen doesnt responding for any touch
and any lcd for arc s lt18 will working on acr lt15?

I think you should go for LCD and touch dizitiger.
Yes any LCD for arc s will work on arc.

it looks like, your screen is damaged. I doubt thar there is fix for this except repair shop...
Glad to inform you that my HTC Wildfire LCD Screen automatically recovered. All the spot are vanished automatically in a week. I will soon upload a screen images.

What is TFT Screen?
I have the same problem but a larger spot, it didn't disappear , should I change the touch digitizer or the LCD screen?
If these spots do not dissappear in your case, just replace the LCD not the touchscreeen/digitizer. I had a larger spot after I dropped my phone, and just replaced the LCD and it works great now. Of course I assume your touch screen works as it should. If your phone does not register your touches, then you have to replace the digitizer as well.
tft is an improved version of lcd. google it. dude let me help you with these problems in general. if you find coloured/ dark spots in screen or lines, it is the problem with lcd and not the touch panel. and if you face problem with non response of screen in some/ all areas of screen, it will be a touch pannel problem. but 1 other thing should also be noticed that even a software(operating system) may make the above probles some times. so check with rom changing be4 u go to repair center

hi guys
i changed the Xperia arc housing last night with out any difficulty, but when i switched on the phone the screen wont boot up. the screen kind of lights up with a weird patch at the top corner as you can see in the photo.
do i need to order a new lcd with digitizer ?
note: when the phone is on and i tap on the bottom left corner, the vibrater vibrates.

Sorry its not the digitiser that's damaged its just the LCD, you can buy on EBay £35, pity but expensive mistake.

Hi, I'm wanting to replace my HOXs screen.
There are yellow spots on the screen, does this mean I need to replace the lcd panel as well or if I just replace the glass/digitizer will this fix the yellow spots?
Also, I managed to fix a galaxy ace screen (glass/digitizer) by separating the digitizer from the lcd panel and the lcd panel is fine. I know it has been said it's not really possible to separate the two with the HOX but if I have managed to do it for the ace, do you think it's possible for the HOX??
Any thoughts would be appreciated
You don't really need to replace the screen if you have orange spots ,just put the screen on full brightness over night and your problems will be solved , if you want to replace the screen ,replace the whole thing as you said I have seen only one video out of 60 that the guy was successful in ceperating digitiser from LCD ,good luck

Sorry I forgot to mention that the screen is cracked too. But my main concern was separating the lcd from the digitizer. I did do it for the ace and it was pretty easy buy if you think I would be better off to replace the panel and digitizer, then I'll do that.

The things is, the ace and the hox are very different devices. Just because you've managed to seperate digitizer and screen on the ace doesn't mean you could do that on the hox too. Just compare the space between LCD and digitizer of both devices and you'll see what I mean.

You wont manage to seperate the screen from the digitizer trust me, i tryed it and the glue is too strong + the lcd is too fragile.

I'm not aware of anybody that has separated the digitiser from the LCD without breaking the LCD.
Try searching for one of the other broken screen threads.

touchscreen dont work now...
so i buy a new digitizer, replace it, and now... the same, touchscreen dont work.....
then i test the old cracked digitizer .... boot up, touch the screen, and works...why new digitizer dont work??
