Change density DPI

please can someone indicate me any application that i can change Desnsity of apps or all system?
i already used paranoidandroid but im searching similiar apps that can change applications resolution in omega rom
For a system wide change you can change the value in your build.prop, or you can install the xposed framework and the per-app settings module for it from the original Android development section to change the dpi of apps individually.

Sorry where to locate build.prop file? Requires ROOT?
If you are looking for a application it's called LCD DENSITY MODDER in play store. Don't forget to follow the instructions regarding the play store compatibility when you are changing the dpi.
Or you can flash HAWKISH ROM it has inbuilt application in the settings + much more called pimp my rom
Hope it helps

You can just change the dpi yourself by changing it in the build.prop or downloading xposed installer and xposed settings app and changing the dpi of anything on your phone individually.

I pretty much know that, but then i don't have a modified tw launcher, and apps that work properly on a system modified like that...
That is why i asked for a whole rom...

Try a rom called black pitch something. I'm not sure the exact name but it was setup for 240/260dpi it's based on Sammy rom but shares some of the look from aosp.

Build.prop ?

Build.prop changes the dpi on the device but also breaks tw app compatibility...
Ok doesnt break but tw launcher looks awful on that dpi...

I am running Omega 12 with Simplistic Framework V3.5.1. I have changed my dpi to 220 & have modded my touchwiz launcher to:
8 dock (landscape aswell)
6x8 home & app draw (8x6 landscape)
3x5 widget preview (5x3 on landscape)
6x6 folder (9x4 landscape - might need changing) with title changed to middle.
Landscape only available if simplistic framework installed.
screenshots : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vegq00xkmeoon6e/XSPMfcg_Gk
Bad Stuff:
Splanner widgets not scalled properly but rest seem good.
Landscape homescreen only shows 6x5 - anything below is cut off & if you look at the download apps screenshot the txt at bottom is a little cut off but could be fixed sometime.
I have not fully tested the 9x4 folder, it may end up 9x9 as the fixed col option is set to 9.
Looks best @ 220 dpi for landscape or if you only want portrait looks great @ 240 dpi apart from the widget preview window is a little out.
If you want to try it or fix it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ei8a6gjpxczlm7a/SecLauncher2.apk.mod
Samsung keyboard made by bala_gamer: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hkpu7g9iwvnvzm1/SamsungIME.apk.mod
To install copy the .mod file to system/app then select the .mod file and change permissions to rw-r-r, then rename the original seclauncher2.apk to seclauncher2.bak and rename seclauncher2.apk.mod to seclauncher2.apk. Do same with the keyboard file.
Then install the Xposed framework and Appsettings module to change dpi for: splanner, phone, internet, contacts, flashbarservice, clock, camera & calculator to 320dpi.
Change google play service & play store to 200dpi ( I lost apps until I set it to 200).
Thanx, i will try it

Search for Xposed framework mod. In there you can assign different DPI for any app, so set your system to 240 and set launcher to 320. Unless you just want more shortcuts on "desktops" then in Xposed there is a mod that allows 5x4 icons on desktop. Look here mods repository.
Thanks for the help but i found some other post which i must have missed the first time around i browsed through.

[INFORMATORY PURPOSE] xposedGEL settings module

So guys..i know this is maybe something you all know, (as this module has also been on portal), but still if someone dont know/tried then i would recommend them this.
XposedGEL settings module..
Module which many of us always awaited for...
We can now tweak google experience launcher like hell(including icon size).
Best part is that it doesn't make icons blurr.... @ Sulaimanshariff @Parth2187 and many friends out there love using small dpi..(our dev @xenon92 provides by default 180 lets not forget , coz it looks cool..but Google experience launcher icons are blur kinda)
Many options are there..just try urself...just an informatory thread ..

first change ur dpi to 240(normal) from build then change icon size from this app...this will make all apps 240 dpi and this app 240 too but with small icons ).......btw..if u want all apps small, then use app settings and make only google app 240 dpi! and then use this app...all apps will be small (as in build prop), but google now will be 240 dpi due to app setting..this will make icons not blurr.........i have no blurr icons..using it!! try it...
make everything 240 dpi..and use this app...or use app setting to make google search 240 dpi and use this app(if u want others apps small too)..

@raghavsharmaxda Thanks for sharing :good:

[Q] What dpi are you using ?

I'm running 240 dpi (stock is 320) the note 2 has a great screen but isn't utilised my 320 dpi.
To run in 240dpi mode I did this.
You must be rooted.
Download texdroider dpi from play store.
You also need exposed
Download app settings module from exposed.
Open app settings
Change the following
Calculator
camera
contacts
photo editor
radio
voice recorder
Gallery
Click the one you want to change
At the top of the screen slide the toggle switch to the right to activate it.
Enter 320 for the dpi
Form the drop down box for screen dp pick 800x1280
Click on save on the top right.
Do this for all apps in the list and for any other apps that fc or don't fit the screen in 240 dpi mode.
Download apex launcher and import your current launcher settings (so you keep all your folders / icons) (touchwiz launcher doesn't work in 240dpi but apex looks and acts the same)
Open texdroider and enter 240 for new dpi.
Hit apply then reboot phone.
Your phone is in 240 dpi mode.
You can now change the amount of icons you want on your home screen as well as other settings for apex launcher.
7 icons down and 6 across works best for me.
(the settings i changed in apex settings are
homescreen
portrait grid 7x6
icon size 110%
Dock settings
icon size 130%
Advanced settings
keep in memory ticked)
You can also download play store fixes for exposed to submit a normal density to google play store
I also have apex notifier and missed it for notifications
I think that's everything
