Quite simply, this is the font that is in the "quietly brilliant" handwriting underneath the HTC logo. They actually went through the effort to do numbers and punctuation marks in this as well, so this is a decent font. Use it for your various projects and things.

You need SuperUser access to rewrite it using the phone.
You need an unlocked bootloader and recovery to flash a ROM with it.

i got it working on my phone but its pretty small... cant change it big cuz some stuff isnt changed into that font so it would get way to big..

How to:
1.Copy bootanimation_janis605_flashable.zip to sd card. (or bootanimation_nologo_janis605_flashable.zip)
2.Flash it using Recovery (CWM).
Tested to work with "CF-Root v4"

How to uninstall:
1. Open Root Explorer
2. Navigate to /system/media
3. Delete bootanimation.zip
4. At next reboot the original S-Samsung Logo will be back.
Delete older animations saved in /data/local/ if needed.

Thats really too much . The bootanimations contains 2 parts but you can of course only use one of them cause they're the same but : even if you only use one part there are 204 frame to edit... holy! and then you also have to edit the size...
Let me see what i can do... But if you want one with htc i already finished it.

So I've made another version of this boot animation, resized to fit the Ace (320 x 480) and with the HTC logo removed. If anyone wants to try it out, I've attached it to this post.

i use romtoolbox to change font on my phone but it did not change all fonts. some are still in default so i change them in system\fonts. i paste the font i'm going to use in system\font rename it to Roboto-Bold.ttf, set permission to rw-r-r. it did change the font but as i reboot the phone it stucked in htc one x logo. why is that?

all the Bold ones. i managed to changed them but after i reboot the phone it stucked in htc one x logo. see screenshot.

U can't change bold one just like that...it will stuck at boot.. u need to change font [email protected]'t remember.. if u want boot, just flash back rom..it will change to default font.

yeah i flash rom again as i dont have backup. i did change the the Bold(font). set permission to rw-r-r just like other font. my only concern is if the phone reboots it will stuck in htc one x logo.

Not permision...u need change font format u want to use from regular to bold...read the link above..it's a good guide. After u do that then u can change font..font changer only change regular font..not bold

I'm being anal, but has that online tool been thoroughly tested? I made a splash myself, but I'm wary of using it just because I know of at least one other person who had to do a full wipe and nandroid after soft-bricking by fastboot flashing a splash in another thread.
Edit: Nevermind, just read jobo's posts in the other thread.
Online tool not working for me. Uploaded a properly sized 75.23KB png and got back a 1.22KB zip. Flash failed. Unable to open in zip viewer, bad zip.
Could you please make this one for me. Resized .png, ready to go. Thanks.

Someone needs to make them. It's not complicated. I think there's a tool somewhere.

Some freely available animations from various places i have been toying with and trying to resize for HTC One boot animations.
Download and rename the .zip to hTC_bootup_one.zip and place in /system/customize/resource for Sense, or rename to bootanimation.zip and place in /system/media for others.
Or copy flashable zip to phone and flash via recovery (for /system/customize/resource with hTC_bootup_one)

Yes, most are landscape because that's how the animations have been made, I've just converted them into boot animations. Pacman and Donkey Kong are in portrait.

For most Sense based roms it would mean adding a .mp3 file to /system/customize/resource and naming it HTC_Sense5_Boot.mp3
Although i believe different roms have different boot file structures etc so it could be something different, you would need to find out which format your rom uses for Bootanimation and sound.

Yes, locate your bootanimation for the ROM you are on, rename the above file to the same and move it to the location of the original. (either delete or rename the original if you want to keep it)
No matter what I do its doesn't work.
The file won't stick when I copy it to the right folder.

Make sure the R W properties are set right.
I checked that multiple times and every time I reboot I get the stock boot screen and the file I moved isn't there
