Note 2 and samsung tv - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I am trying to play videos off my note 2 though usb on my samsung tv. The tv finds my phone but it says there is no videos on it, does anyone know which folder I need to put them in for the tv to play them. Thanks

The AllShare Cast Dongle can do this without a Samsung Smart tv. It's not yet released though.

there's a dlna app built into the phone settings... I have tested it with my ps3 and it works. you can use that to stream video, music, and photos

Help connecting

How can i view my phone files on my ps3? When i coonect it via usb..i remember my evo4g when i would connect it on the ps3 i would be able to play my movies off my phone but when i connect the t989 none of my files pop out..any help

Video output (USB to HDMI)

I'm using CM9 and my mate is using CM10. Is there a way to push the screen video/audio over the USB of the phone to HDMI with a app?

Hdmi dongle

Ik this is for the att version but it doesnt have to do with the phone its the software when I go to plug it into the hdmi dongle on the tv its way bloated and I can't change the settings on the tv or phone so is there like an app to correct this or what?

Don't know. I think it requires a Samsung app and uses wi-fi direct. The G Pad won't have the Samsung app, but you might be able to install it and get it to work. The G Pad is supposed to have wi-fi direct.
Do you already have the Samsung hub? If not, I would skip it and get an android stick computer. It would serve the same function and do a lot of other things the Samsung hub doesn't.
