does it require root?
You don't need root. It needs Clockwork Recovery. Copy the zip file on your sdcard, boot into recovery mode and flash the zip file.

When I apply these, only the boot animation is changed! I still get that ugly CM7 splash screen (one with blue android man with skates).
Any solution?

Searched a lot and what I've found is that we need an "Hacked param.lfs" in order to replace Samsung Splash Screen.
Anyone has already did it or may I use that file for another Samsung device?

The splash screen is the starting logo that comes before the boot animation is starting.
I can't find a Boot splash creator like the M7/8/9
My E9+ is rooted and s-off.
I would like to change the boot logo on my N7. I'm not talking about the boot animation, I'm talking about the "Google" logo that flashes up before it. Does anyone know how to change this?
