Just take the PNG files out of the apk and change them and put them back in

Had the same problem, updated itself, removed androi market, and added play store. nothing downloaded.
after reboot it worked again, try that.

Lol! Well I got pissed off and deleted the whole thing lol. where do I push the file to again? When I try install it says application not installed! I'm using the attached market someone jutlst posted above. Do I have to rename it to vending.apk?

Absolutely incorrect. It works flawlessly on Gingerbread. No idea about ICS.
Try to delete the market vending.apk from Root Explorer, /system/app, and re install the apk. Should work.

working on gb too, he is on criskelo rom v34 XWKL1 based room or XWKK5 i don't remember, my brother ask me were was his market app and he has google play that's why he dind't find it.

also the homepage, feel really disgusting with the green letters. and the apps bottom have lose the blue letters

worx great on my little samsung galaxy y,have the file extracted than Phonesky renamed in Vending.apk,my previous Playstore with updates deleted than the new one with rootexplorer moved to system/app with the right permission and rebooted.But store shows me black screen on My Apps,ive clean my cache,rebooted and tada it runs.thanx button ive pressed!!!:good:

Ported Jellybean 4.1.2 Google Apps apks downloaded at goo.im/gapps to Samsung ROMs.
I also removed the touchwiz setup wizard, so now AOSP setup wizard is default.
Everything is working fine here, wiped data, checked new Setup Wizard, configured my Google account, downloaded my apps and everything is working like a charm.
I recommend you to delete those apks, which I did not edited the script to delete, so people won't complain about Google Search and stuff.

No. But, if somehow you broke into Samsung headquarters and stolen JellyBean for i9100, yea, it will work.

Anytime you want. This isn't any mod, but a update. Still, if you get any problems, wipe data is your second solution after trying to wipe application data.

The apk is ripped from the Nexus its normal DPI is 360 the lower DPI in Paranoid means that the stor is resizing to a DPI which isn't suited for it

Working perfectly!!! Thanks. I had to switch to home twice before the navbar and status bar gets transparent, but now is great (icons are a little bit bigger, but I liked it)

Gsmcore is Google Play services_4.0.30 (889083-38).apk
The one listed in the OP as Play Services is actually GoogleServicesFramework and will not install on anything lower than 4.4 (API 19).

The gsmcore.apk in the op is the update to play services you need.worked perfectly on my razr hd maxx running cm 10.2. The other file isn't necessary. Btw touch less control in the launcher works great.
