We have all seen the official HTC double dip case and most of us hate that red and grey color scheme. Was just on the HTC site and looked at the case and saw that one of the screenshots showed a full gunmetal grey double dip case. Can't find it anywhere though. Does anyone know when HTC will be releasing this one?
If it's really that big of a deal, you can probably use vinyl dye to change it to all black or all grey. I've been using Duplicolor's vinyl dye on a lot of plastic and TPU with no issue.

I had this case in OE style and took it back, it's kind if cheaply built.
This is how they should show it, no felt inside and weird clicking slots.
Plus sharp edges grab the screen.

What would be even better is if we were able to swap out the actual metal strips on the phone itself.
I do like it a lot more in all gray. I wonder when it will be available in the US

Especially with the aluminium body I feel like if there's anything in there to scratch the phone it will scratch all the way down as your sliding it in.

it is a nice case. we sell these at my store CONSTANTLY. theres also a purpley transparent back (purpley is a word now), and one thats solid pink where the black is, and see through pink on the back. i personally got the carbon fiber one with the kickstand, but now im using a fly grip and friggin love it

I had the same one from Amazon and prefer this HANDS down! Its slimmer and more comfortable.

There are some which have different tinted colored backs, but the one pictured is clear frosted.

I also have the S one and thought it was too thick. Is this one thinner than that one?
My casemate pop started warping so I got this one. Hands down my favorite case now. Fit is great and the buttons are easy to press.

Well a few weeks ago I purchased a Duck Tape Sheet (8.5" x 11") in chrome & attempted to use that to cover my back battery door. Unfortunately my exacto knife was so dull that the edges came out all crappy.
You can find these sheets in various colors and patterns for about $1.99 at Michaels craft store or some office supply stores. just make sure you have a sharp cutting tool lol.
You can also use adhesive drawer liner contact sheets but those come in a whole roll & that may be more then you need.
I was looking for a anti-fingerprint screen protector and i stumbled upon this case, it looks amazing, not sure if anyone has this one already and can give us a quick review, its called Nillkin.

I bought the white one but have since decided to sell it away because I've finally decided to use my HTC One with a pouch instead of hiding its beauty behind a cover =)

I've got one in black and its an awesome case, i'd say a better fit and more durable than the casemate cases too.
Two questions before I buy this case:
1) Is there a cut out for the power button or is there an actual button on the case for it?
2) Do these hard shells not damage the phone at all?
Absolutely love this case. Almost looks like the phone was made that way. Doesn't offer the best protection, but if you just care about protecting the back, this is of the best and best looking.

2. i THINK these are high quality plastic, it should not damage the phone
I too have a white nillkin case and their grey flip.
Only problem with the flip is the case is too close to the headphone port, so I have a kld oscar 2 on back order to fix this.
Plus I love the black monolith look, reminds me of the film 2002 a space odyssey.

I agree, matter of personal preference!
It would be cool to see some glow in the dark TPU cases. They could easily make some lumibrite cases that would glow super bright for hours. This stuff is so bright for the first few minutes of coming in from a sunny day you would not need to use the torch (flashlight) feature on your phone.
Of course your phone would be glowing like a lightstick at a rave so some may not want to do that.

A GITD TPU case made of tritiated aerogel would rock! Basically steady 200+ microlamberts illumination for 10+ years. Of course no one keeps their phone that long, but you could hang it on the head doorknob so you don't have to wake others in the middle of the night during pee breaks.
Just waiting on this coming from Ebay. Good price I think, it doesn't cover the sides but I like the idea of keeping them white. Any of you guys had anything like this and if so where you happy with it?

Yeah I got the black "metal" finish one, I got my htc on the cheap £230 but it had some scratches on the housing so I got one of these to cover it up. Its been on for about 6 weeks. Was a bit fiddly to apply, but U just peel it off and try again., I was thinking of changing colour to silver or something. I will take pictures later if I can find a phone or camera to take it with
Might be an idea to use one of these and not a great deal to lose if you don't like it.

Came in the post yesterday and it looks pretty swish on. Was dead easy to fit so long as you don't seal the edges down your good to lift it off until you get it in position.
Will get some pics uploaded today at at some point for you guys to look at. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.

Yes that does look pretty nice in brushed black! I may buy a few more different ones from them for when I get bored of the wood . I quite like the idea of the Ali bumper too.

There well easy to install, just Line up the camera and flash and the rest comes in line. As for the other parts it's just as easy.
If you do make a mistake, so long as you don't seal the edges you can lift and reposition.

So my case finally arrived from boxwave. Its very well made, it has a silky texture on the plastic edges and the back has a rubbery feel texture over the bamboo. All the cut outs are precise and neat, boxwave logo even looks pretty good. It snaps firmly onto the phone and I think it looks really premium.
The plastic is slightly raised above the screen at the front, leaves the top and bottom open like a lot of hard cases.

I'd go for Cocobolo Burl. Coolest looking wood I've ever seen. Of course it's super rare and probably costs more than gold haha.
Yeah that stuff looks amazing! Very regal, type of thing you'd find on a baroque period dresser or something. I think really I want a moto X but moto maker (which you use to order custom colours and wood backs) is USA only right now.

Yeah, if they made a case out of that, I would jump on it so quickly.
I want to like Motorola, but after the hellish experience/treatment/neglect/no updates/etc I had with the Atrix 4G, where they just abandoned it after less than a year and pretended it didn't exist.... I don't think I'll ever buy another Motorola phone ever again. That cost so much (bought outright) and was so disappointing, it just turned me off to them (they do have the best USB cables out there though!).
