I thought the clock means scheduled message.

Really, wow I didn't mean to schedule any messages. How do you schedule a message?

So I went through that thread and deleted a few messages. I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but the clock changed to a green dot now.

I think I figured it out. I think that is their Google Talk status. I've never used Google Talk and didn't even know I had it, lol.

I'm pretty sure that is in fact what it means. I remember with my G1 that would happen sometimes. I think the orange means they are away and the green means they are online. It is kinda cool if you have limited texting because then you can just gtalk them if you know they are on.

[Q] Weather widget that says, "omg it's cloudy outside", what is it called?

I can't find it on the market nor do I know what's it called? Any help will be appreciated!
Did it look something like this

I did this using minimalistic text. The "OMG ITS" & "OUTSIDE" are done using static text and the "SUNNY" part is just current weather conditions.
If you have never used minimalistic text its an awesome app that give you loads of customisation options.
Sorry for the poor pic quality.
UNLOCK OUR BOOTLOADERS
That's exactly it!
I haven't liked any of the weather widgets until now. I love this, thanks!

it's pretty awesome but it is not very user friendly, it took me forever to figure out how to do everything.

I agree, but once you get the hang of it the possibilities are endless.

Emergency test alerts. They do them every once in a while. Nothing to worry about it's just your rom don't know how to read them.

Why would a smartphone have a dumb rom, is it an ios rom ?
Ohh, cm 9, it can't be that good if it can't read.
Just hope that there isn't a REAL disaster in your area while your phone is talking scrabble to you.
I would worry about something.

Uninstall the app, reboot the phone, download the app again, sign in and see if the cures it.

Is there any way to get rid of this annoying popup when I receive sms from businesses etc with "unofficial" numbers.

Well, I've never seen that. But I have Hangouts set as my default SMS. Just a suggestion.

Has been set as default sms for a long time now. It never used to do it, this started with the lollipop update. It's annoying as hell.

Well I looked a bit more into this problem, saw that it's not just HTC One M8 related, but more to do with international numbers codes, apparently Hangouts/Google doesn't implement all of them(yet) but mostly just use the US short number system.
There was talk about Google fixing the issue and bringing out a fix for it but nothing as of yet.
Hopefully there is a way to disable this notification without depending on Google??? If anyone has any idea on how to...?
