looks like mobilelife isnt on the contacts support page

but if your rooted try pushing the mobilelife.apk to system/app

My contacts are synced with my facebook, so i see the facebook pictures, but whenever i get a message from a person, and i want to reply, it takes the facebook phone number (which is missing the country code).
Is there anyway to sync with facebook but without the phone numbers?

No one has this bug?
There is a sync option in Facebook not to sync with phonebook.
Would be helpfull if you would tell me where that option is?

I still don't see the option there "disable phonebook sync"
Maybe you need to update your Facebook app?
Hello I followed one of the guides here to clean to bloat off my phone ... I like to stream movies to my phone but is anyone using EI22 (current stock) ... any help would be awesome ... I tried a few of the apks around the web but they error out on me .....

Seeing you mention the bloatware
Is there an updated guide for bloatware removal. Most of the guides that I have found have either a safe to remove, unknown, or not safe. Also, alot of the files are either no longer there, not listed at all, or the names have changed drastically or status has changed( unsafe to safe mostly)
Thats true i was going by trial and error to be honest just my Dlna got currupted ... I dont think i unmounted my sd right ... now I am in need of the Facebook one ... I just flashed to the ACS Ver 5 and Dlna and Facebook isnt there I liked it for my contact updates ... but i am getting around that with syncmypix but its nice to get updated numbers from Facebook

Facebook app is in the market.
see my problem is i used to sync my contacts with facebook ... I did download that from the market I goto contacts and I can add my google account but now I dont see how to add my fb account to grab my contacts extra information like before

Go to settings, accounts and sync and add account, then choose Facebook.
Yea ive rebooted 2x and still nothin its good tho haha ... I got a backup of my contacts before i went to acs 5

Is the option there? Sometimes it takes a few hours to sync the contact pix.

The sns*.apks may have been removed from your ROM.
If that is the case, you won't be able to add a Facebook account in the accounts and sync settings.

ICS doesn't do that by default. Custom roms do, but I use HaxSync from the market.

Yeah ive tried the app. only syncs pics and events... no phonenumbers.. i thought there was a patch for it? That it also sync contacts phone numbers.

HaxSync to sync pictures and status updates.
I use both.
So its not possible with the stock rom to sync contacts?

Nope. Google and Facebook had words and the result was no native integration with ICS. Nearly any custom ROM will fix that.

I cannot find a way to sync my facebook calendar with S Planner.
Can someone help?
Try Haxsync, should work for calendar. Dont know if facebook syncs hi-res pictures nowadays, if not, use haxsync for that too!

Go to settings--->under accounts, click Facebook. It will then show the Facebook account that ur phone is synced to. Click on the username and u should see 3 options with boxes next to it. Ensure that the box sync calendar is checked.
Then click sync now. It should work...

This is so strange... under Facebook account I have only 1 option and this is to sync my contacts. I have no other option...

i would like to know how to use the "s planner widget" on note 2 , basically i want to add a ' to do ' event and strike it off once completed , but im not able to find the 'to do' option all i can do is create an event ,but cannot create to-do/task or check/uncheck

Facebook events sync with Google calendar
what you can also do is sync Facebook calendar with Google calendar. Then it'll be easy to choose which calendar to show/hide from S-Planner settings
Just search for "add facebook calendar to google calendar"

I don't know if this has been solved yet but it might be the same as with Galaxy S4. Go to add accounts and there should be another Facebook "account" you should add. It's called something like "Sync apps with Facebook". After you login you will find the two missing options: Sync Calendar and Sync Gallery.

oh yes, please edit from google contacts because i've had a hell of a time with contacts back then when i try to delete contacts in my phone, and when i sync, google actually remove some of the contacts i wanted to keep because its not in my google account.
what worked for me, and i find it the fastest, is to use an app to merge/remove most of my contacts, login to my google account and delete everyone there, then turn sync on for my phone. Google contacts will now be exactly the same as your phone's ! Though from my experience, no app out there can properly merge contacts for you. Take the time to check every contact yourself. If you are going down the path of android, you will only need to do this once and your contact should be pretty much synced for the rest of your life xD

After deleting google contacts, Don't forget to configure the Sync App that you use to sync from PC to Android, if not you will delete all contacts in your PC.
