just received my galaxy nexus and its simlocked any chance of an unlock maybe the same as for the sg2?

Also Sony xperia series have locked bootloader. Galaxy s doesn't. If uvr rooted you have to flash a recovery so you can flash the rom you want it.

If I'm not wrong Nexus phones are made by samsung. So I don't think they are bootloader locked. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

My nexus S had bootloader locked but it was a simple 1 minute process to unlock it.
