Si, si usaste un Fixed CG31 o algo asi son los numeros, para flashear por nandroid si se puede, si fue flasheado por RSDLite y fue un full ROM, no se puede porque se quema uno de los e-fuses que trae el celular, saludos.

Creo que entonces no hay nada que hacer por el momento, solo hasta que desbloqueen el bootloader. Que version 2.2 es, si es menor, puedes actualizar a la 2.2.2 con lo de abajo. Saludos.

Ok, pues que bueno que es la 2.2.2. Si algun dia te animas a probar otro rom, como los CM9 o CM7 o el MSGinger2 v4.0, te puedo ayudar, ya los he probado en 3 defy y funcionan muy bien, aunque algunos estan en beta, pero si te animas nos podemos esperar a que haya alguno estable y te digo como. hola que tal instale CM10.1 RC2 en mi SGh I747M de Telcel México y va muy bien el problema es que la red LTE se pierde muy seguido no se si es por los APN o es por que el OS es para el I747 alguna sugerencia

Lo de el OS esta bien eso no importa, lo que puede ser es que Telcel puede estar arreglando alguna torre. Llama a Telcel y pregunta les.

no importa el OS? no tiene nada que ver el modem ya que imagino que son para el I747 por las bandas ya que cuando pongo la red 4G se calienta mucho el teléfono cuando paso a 3g o a H+ no pasa eso, con la stock no se calienta para nada estando en 4 o 3G a que se debera?

Tienes que buscar el radio debido para tu región, por eso se calienta ya hiciste una búsqueda en los foros.

No puedes ocupar cm10 para tu teléfono de Telcel porque no tiene las bandas de radio para tu módem para LTE. Mira cuando quieras buscar algún ROM para tu teléfono tienes que asegurarte que diga "Bell o Rogers." intenta el ROM de abajo.

Si uno despues de otro esta bien. Pero fijate que sean del I747M I no del EE.UU que es el I747.

Disculpa, he leído los post en este tema y estoy a unos pasos de instalar el CM10
Yo también tengo el SGH-i747m de Telcel. Me da miedo brickear mi teléfono, no se si mi bootloader es abierto o cerrado, vengo de Xperia S y me ponía "unlock allowed: NO "
Pero en el caso de mi galaxy, no encuentro como ver si está abierto o cerrado.
Por lo que veo, después de instalar la ROM, debo instalar un módem; por lo que veo en mis " especificaciones de dispositivo "
El que tengo que instalar es el

I have a MT15i device bought in Spain.
¿Is there any hardware difference between MT15i and MT15a? I mean, HW differences in frequency bands they can use.
I have browsed forums and the answer is not completely clear.
If the hardware is capable of accessing the same bands, I can flash a MT15a firmware in my device and get to use 3G in Mexico.
Am I rigth?

Sí, la diferencia está en la antena y en que frecuencias puede esta misma agarrar. Las versiones "a" son para America y la "i" para el resto del mundo. Lo curioso es que se comparten frecuencias, pero lamentablemente para México, donde la frecuencia para el 3G es 850, sólo la puede agarrar la versión "a".
Igual lo puedes usar en 2G, aunque la velocidad para datos en internet estará bastante reducida.
Y no, flashear un firmware diferente no cambiara nada salvo el nombre en la información del dispositivo.

The fact that your device is MT15i already means that your phone is an international variant and so the hardware is the same.
MT15a is the American variant of the phone and the software may come with a network lock. Other than that, both devices should be the same.

No affectation en nada el cambiar a CyamogenMod Pero deberias hacer un respaldo se tu configuración y obtener los programas necesarios para liberar tu teléfono nuevamente si es necesario, no vas a poder actualizar prl o perfil en una ROM basada en Google AOSP, intenta hacerlo y regresa aquí si necesitas ayuda... Buena suerte!

Asi que si cambio la rom no afecta on algun wipe que deba evitar para tener mas seguridad de no perder la configuracion?
No afecta, las particiones dónde se almacenan esos datos son independientes y twrp o cwm no las tocan, pero si necesitas hacer algún cambio debes hacerlo en una rom basada en Touch Wiz (stock rom o imagen de fabrica)
