New HTC ROM killed and buried my camera?

I flashed to the new rom and all is great except that there's no camera icon or a way to activate the camera. Camera Button does not work. And even in creating an MMS theres no option to add video, just audio. It does not acknowledge my camera even exists...Has anyone else seen this or fixed it?
Thanks in advance.

Camera Fix

Does anyone know a patch that can fix the camera/camcorder for AOKP build 39.
Seen patches but I don't want to flash something bad that could damage the phone.
Can someone give a proper link to a patch if anyone knows for sure.
I don't know a whole lot about AOKP for the dinc but CM9 has a working camera and panoramic camera. While there is a fix for the video camera it has been known to break youtube and other modes of video playback. The easiest solution to the problem is to download a third party video camera from the play store and use it rather than stock because they do work as a substitute.

[Q] Gallery/Camera APK

I'm running Codename Android and I was having trouble with the front facing camera causing the gallery to FC. So I found the GoogleGallery.apk from 4.2 (for 4.1 ROMs) and flashed it. My front facing camera is working fine now, but the video camera won't record in 1080p or even 720p. It will only record when set to 480p. I've googled and searched the forums, and so far can't find anything about it. Any ideas? I'd even be happy restoring back to the gallery/camera APK that came with CNA if I could figure out how to get the front facing camera to stop force closing it. Help?

snap camera from Blisspop.

Hey guys the recent version of blisspop rom have snapcam camera which has greatly improved picture quality. I tried installing the apk on another rom but the quality still remained the same. So does anyone know how we can port that camera for installation on other roms too?
It is not on the play store?

Manual Camera

I tried to download third party camera app called manual camera, but when I started to capture a photo it seems that it doesnt work. The app automatically closes. I don't know what is the reason behind this. I would appreciate any help. As I really wanted to indulge with manual controls.
The app might not be compatible with your android version.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I run a test using their app called Manual Camera Compatibility. All is good. But still cant capture a photo.
I use it with no issue (7..0), try cleaning cache..
On 6.0 and now on 7.0 Manual camera is working without any issue. Try to clean cache of app.
I tried to re-download it. Still, the same thing happened.
Get manual camera v 3.6 works fine
Still doesn't work for me. Even the AZ Camera app is not working. I have no idea why, Camera FV-5 Lite works fine, but i just don't like the ui. It lags at some point.
