Hi Guys... Please follow the link of the thread that I did for whom need to have how to get the side sync phone screen app installed on non-Samsung PC… hope you enjoy it!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=41243207#post41243207

yeah did found that thread but when installed can't find programm can't get it working on win 7

I found a semi-working app for non Samsung PCs, thanks to https://twitter.com/KashaMalaga
He posted the SideSync app, and a hacked SideSync.exe that runs on any PC, and they work on mu Compaq PC, but upon trying the connection with the SideSync app on my S3, it crashes (Force Close). I don't know if this is for all (bad hack of the exe), or it is my ROM (which is a stripped down version of Samsung EMD2, many bloatware removed, and many frozen useless apps)
While the Phone Screen Sharing works just fine, quite fast. no issues

i have installed it again and it seems to work fine now thanks !

Quick write-up:
First a YouTube video with the functions: http://youtu.be/HVvczhM5KxI
Links as posted by KashaMalaga on his twitter -> https://twitter.com/KashaMalaga
First link, full package: http://goo.gl/WcbGP
Second link, cracked sidesync: http://goo.gl/1RfeS
Extract both archives.
1. Open this folder from the first link: Side Sync 1.0.2.12 and execute the inst.exe file as admin. (Wait till its done)
2. Open this folder from the first link: Phone Screen Sharing 1.0.0.1 and execute the Chain_Install.exe file as admin. (Wait till its done)
3. Copy the file SideSync.exe from the second link and paste it in this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Samsung\Side Sync
4. Of course overwrite
5. Grab your phone
6. Open Samsung Apps on your phone (Pre-installed on s3 en note 2 as far as I know).
7. Download Side Sync and Phone Screen Sharing (Both made by Samsung)
8. Go to settings -> Developer options -> Slide top right slider to on position -> Check Usb-Debugging
9. Hook up your phone to your pc (Wait a minute for windows to install drivers and such)
10. Open Phone Screen Sharing app on your phone
11. Open Phone Screen Sharing on pc
12. Let Phone Screen Sharing on pc look for updates and such and follow instructions.
13. Everything should work now.
Tips:
Notice that you have two hidden arrows on the side of the phone preview on your pc. Top and bottom.
Top arrow hides functions like taking a screenshot and taking a movie. It also hides drawing and file manager.
The bottom arrow seems to have the equivalent function of holding the home button (Sort of a task manager)
You can re-size the preview phone, just grab it at the top left corner.
You can drag files from your pc to your phone preview. It will always ask if its okay to overwrite even though its a completely new file.
To be honest we are only using the Phone Screen Sharing app.
I couldn't get the Side Sync to work, which in my opinion is only handy if you have a dock for your phone.
I think the functions of Side Sync and the Phone Screen Sharing app are identical (Its just missing the backup function).
NOTES:
I opened both files as admin, I don't know if its necessary.
Also, I just wrote down what I did. Its up to you how you deal with those files and if you trust them.

Working on S3, Paranoid 3.15, Win7, but just the Screen Sharing one.

alternative app.
there's an alternative app with does the same job (well, almost the same job).
for those having issues getting sidesync to work, you might wanna give ShareKM a try. (google it, i can't post links just yet)

airdroid is similar, it doesn't have the functions that require root, it has apk install from pc, text from pc, contacts, move files back and fourth, and more that i'm missing, it's a great app that uses a password protected html interface. so far everything i've tried works flawlessly. The best part is all your phone needs is an active wifi connection and any computer on that network can manage the phone (as long as they have your password)..
you connect by going to your browser and typing the ip of your phone.. with a port
like 192.168.1.xxx:8888
you push enter it loads like an html router page. you put the password you have access to everything on your pc. as its an app meant for noobs and veterans alike it doesn't have the recovery/boot mode features and i haven't tried accessing root files because i haven't needed to but i wouldn't be surprised at all if the support was there for rooted phones, its a GREAT app. anyways enjoy.
it even has a widget with an on off switch the only problem i have with it is it want's a 1x4 slot for an on off button... stupid they want to advertise their name "airdroid" in the center is why. o well i guess they earned it with such a flawlessly great tool.
100% free as far as i can tell

the nice thing about this one is it works on ANY PC with no software required, so you can drop files or grab files of any PC with ease with no software install or drivers req.
So you are confirming then this works with Nitro HD? (and any rooted phone w/ busybox)?

[Guide] Dualboot (Acer Iconia W700) Windows 8 - Android

I am not responsible for any damage happening to your device by doing this!
I believe Windows 8 is great for productivity, but that's not Always what we are looking for. We want to experiment with our devices and get as much out of them as possible. Android gives us the freedom to do with this tablet what we never thought possible, the overall performance is incredible and graphics are buttery smooth. However, I couldn't find a suitable guide, so I created one myself. So let's get started!
Bug list:
Everything should be working fine, contact me if not
Requirements:
USB Stick with at least 512 MB storage
USB Keyboard
USB-hub, because the tablet only has 1 USB port
Latest image available for Generic UEFI Installer from here
Image Writer Tool from here
Setting up a bootable USB
1. Download Image Writer Tool, unpack it and run the ''Win32DiskImager.exe" file
2. Once opened, navigate to your *.img file you downloaded earlier in the requirements and hit "Write" (This will format the USB drive)
3. Let it run and once it's done your USB is good to go.Setting up tablet to boot from USB
1. Enter BIOS settings by pressing the power (and hold it) and the Windows button
2. Once there, make sure UEFI boot modus is set
Booting from USB
1. Make sure your tablet is turned off
2. Plugin your USB-hub with USB Stick and Keyboard insered
3. Power on your devices while pressing the ''F12'' button
4. Now choose your USB device from the boot options
5. You'll get a few options, choose the option that fits your expectations
Note: I'd dualboot and install gummibootloader
6. Choose your prefered option and wait, the installation will run automatically
7. Once done, unplug everything and power off the device
8. When you turn your tablet back on, you'll see (if you've chosen option a. or b.) a menu with the option to boot Windows or Android
9. Navigate with volume DOWN key and select with volume UP key
This Method could also be used for the Samsung XE700T
Thanks to

Q&A
Q:
How do I install Google Play Store and other Gapps?
A:
1. Download a root explorer from Internet in .apk format, I recommend ES file explorer. (I think you are familiar with the way to install these)
2. Go in ES file explorer, then click settings and enable root exploring and root access (allow any prompt)
3. Download GoogleServicesFramework.apk from here
4. Copy with ES file explorer the downloaded .apk to /system/app/
5. Now reboot the tablet into Android
6. Download PlayStore_v4.1.10.apk from here
7. Repeat step 4. and 5. with PlayStore_v4.1.10.apk
8. Congratulations, you've installed the Google Play Store
9. If you want to install other Gapps, download the .apk and repeat step 4. and 5.
Note: If you don't see the app installed after reboot, try changing the .apk's permission to RW-R--R-- and reboot again
Q:
I can't enter BIOS by holding ''Windows''-button and ''Power''-button
A:
1. Press ''Windows''-button and ''Power''-button at the same time
2. Let go when the ''Acer''-bootlogo appears
3. Congratulations, you've entered the BIOS
Q:
I can't boot from USB, because the secure boot prohibits it
A:
1. Enter BIOS by pressing ''Windows''-button and ''Power''-button at the same time
2. Set up a supervisor password
3. Congratulations, now you can disable secure boot
Q:
The ''Gummibootloader doesn't appear when booting, but Windows boots normally
A:
1. Enter BIOS by pressing ''Windows''-button and ''Power''-button at the same time
2. Change bootorder so Android comes in first place and Windows second
3. Congratulations, you've now got Gummibootloader at boot
Q:
Android-ia1 installed perfectly, but later versions fail to install
A:
1. Go to Acers site
2. Navigate to Home page > Support > Drivers and Manuals > Select [your..tablet] > BIOS
3. Download the latest BIOS
4. Update the devices BIOS
5. Congratulations, you'll be able to install Android-ia2 and later
Q:
What other devices will also be combatible with this method?
A:
Samsung XE700T
Q:
How to get bluetooth mouse and keyboard working on Android and Windows at the same time?
A:
1. Pair your bluetooth devices first with android and the with Windows
2. On Windows download PsExec
3.Then from downloaded file copy PsExec.exe in Windows to directory C:\Windows\System32 or to directory where your System32 folder is.
4. Write in the search cmd and run it as administrator
5. Then use command: psexec -s -i regedit.exe
6. Now go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BTHPORT\Parameters\Keys
7. From \Keys you can find your paired bluetooth devices. First there is the devices bluetooh mac address and 32 numbers long linkkey. Now write those linkeys and mac addresses up or copy them.
8. Now everything is set on Windows side. Next boot to android.
9. On android you need again for example ES file Explorer and R/W rights
10. With file Explorer fro root go to /data/misc/bluedroid/
11. Open file called BT_config.xml
12. From text find your devices using mac address
13. When you find you devices mac addres scroll down and you should see line with linkkey and 32 number code.
14. Now take that 32 number code you got from Windows
15 You have to change it little so the linkey works and here how it's done:
for example your Windows linkkey is "12345678qwertyuiasdfghjkpoiuytre" now set it as 8 number clusters like this
"12345678 qwertyui asdfghjk poiuytre"
Now you have to reverse those 8 number clusters
Take the set on far right "poiuytre" and mark it like this "po iu yt re"
Now reverse those pairs like this "re yt iu po"
Now "reytiupo" this is the first line in the new linkkey
Do the same for other three cluster. After it's done this example linkkey looks like this "reytiupojkghdfasuityerqw78563412"
16. When you have your modified Windows linkkey ready you can just replace the old one from the file BT_config.xml
17. Now just reboot android and your keyboard and mouse should work.
Q: How to change DPI from 213 to 160 (or something else)
A:
1. Get file manager on android like ES file Explorer
2. R/W rights to whole system on android
3. From root go to /system/etc/machine-props/
4. Open acer-w700.prop with ES Explorer and edit line "ro.sf.lcd_density = 213" and change 213 to 160
5. Reboot android and system should now be 160 DPI

Hmm, then this may not work since RT's processor is ARM based

Pretty sure even if you didn't run into any architecture problems (and you will) trying this on RT, you'll probably be blocked by Secure Boot preventing the use of a non-Microsoft bootloader. We haven't managed to crack that yet. You can try it anyhow, and report back what you find, but don't expect it to work.

No as that is a clovertrail device. Clovertrail is physically incapable of booting into anything other than windows 8, Intel locked it for this generation silicon only, bay trail has the restriction lifted.

I followed your guide since I've got an Iconia W700, like you. Which option should I take? If I choose "run..." I got an error.

Did Bluetooth work in your sistem? In my w700 it just goes ON but doesnt recognize any device.
Suggestions?

I'll wait they fix bluetooth.... it is worthless for me this way because I need android for GPS-mapping programs, which I only use with an external gps-bluetooth receiver...
I can't find a good gps-offline-software for windows... (like sygic for android, for example)

Hit up the car computer forums, they often manage to hunt down absolute gems of GPS navigation software.
Alternatively, there are quite a few good linux navigation software suites out there apparently. Ubuntu is reasonably easy for a newcomer to use and also works alright with touch, I prefer linux mint normally but it doesnt play so nicely with touch (but it may be possible to install the ubuntu UI atop mint as mint is already a fork from ubuntu).
3rd choice. An FTDI cable may work under Android-IA in which case you can use one of the many serial GPS units out there. Most bluetooth GPS recievers are just serial based units with a bluetooth radio attached in the SPP mode.
I think the bluetooth should work fine with the linux option.

I've always been a big fan of ubuntu. I used to have Lubuntu like only OS on my old 1000H eeepc.
But I lost a day and a full night trying to install Ubuntu 13.04 on this w700 keeping Win8 (so, dual boot) and I got really MAD since there's no way it could recognize the hard-drive partitions. I have to abort the linux thing at the moment, hoping that 13.10 or whatever could solve the problem I have with Acer W700.
I think I'll try Autoroute or some freeware option....

Major Changes:
* Secure-boot support (not default)
* Mesa rebased onto freedesktop upstream
* Bluetooth working on Iconia W700 (bluedroid stack)
* ADB TCP sessions auto-reconnect
* Linux kernel 3.9.1
however i faced the same problem..live installation work only, able to turn on the bluetooth but unable to connect to other devices..guess have to wait for more update

Storex Ezee'TAB901 root JB 4.1.1

hi,
After spending many time trying to root my storex tab 901 I bought in france (Already installed on 4.1.1 with google play), Iwas finnaly able to root it using adb and command line.
to do so:
- Download attached file
- Download from google SDK usb_adb_driver
- Go to your device parameters-> USB -> enable debbuging mode
- create a c:\root folder on your windows XP computer then Extract the zip file attached into it.
- Plugin your device to the computer, when prompted for driver, use google sdk USB_ADB_Driver
- When done, open a windows terminal command line
- type: c:
- type: cd \
- type: cd root
- type: cd rootkit
- type: go.cmd
If everything goes well, your tablet should reboot. you can try installing the free app from google store called "Root checker" to confirm your device is properly rooted.
Also, if you lost the original rom and live suite, here is the link to download the latest build from storex web site:
(I will post the link later when I find it)
JB 4.2.2
CAUTION: USE THIS ROM AS YOUR OWN RISK.......Be sure you have the official rom in case it is not working for you. It appears that even though you have the same tablet Reference, depending on when you buy it, hardware might be a bit different and most likely you will take the risk of having a unusable Touch screen or wifi...
I found out you can fully use your Ezee Tab 901 4.2.2
you can install rom from Manta MID 13.
You will be able to install the rom using Livesuite.
Gain:
- Android 4.2.2
- Root Access out of the box
- Play store installed.
Everything will be working
For the link type in google:
MID13 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean - Manta Multimedia Info
select google link called: manta.info.pl
select the link catshare or 4shared.
Start live suite 1.7, select the download img file, do a format when prompted. You done.
When the tablet restart, go to the parameter icon, and change language to French or english
Procedure on the Ezee tab 901 with livesuit:
- completly turn off the tablet, unplug cable
- start livesuite and select the downloaded image file
- keep the VOL- button pressed and plug the usb cable
- without releasing the VOL- button press the Power button 6 times.
- You should hear windows sound saying a USB device has been plugged
- if windows request it, install the driver from Livesuitefolder\usbdriver
- Livesuite should automatically start the flashing process.
- when prompted, "Format device" press YEs.
- When it s 100% you tablet should reboot.
Done.
Note: I did not invent anything, thanks to the good work of MANTA team members. I just found out this rom works on my tablet out of the box.
Hi,
Thanks for sharing these tips. I'm gonna try to update to 4.2.2, hoping this is going to fix some problems with this tablet.
I've been looking a lot for information about how to update ezee tab 901, so you did definitely a great work !
edit : iflash went well, but touch screen is not responding anymore. Any idea of how to solve it ?
Thanks.

Hi,
did you try going into recovery mode and factory reset? (shutdown tabel completely and keep press on volume+key then press power button)
in the menu, using vol+/- scroll down to wipe factory reset and validate by pressing the power key.
Let me know how it goes.
btw, are you sure your tablet is a Ezee tab 901 and not 971?
Cheers
Hi,
Yes I've got 901 and not 971 (written on the back of the device). I tried factory reset , but still the same problem. However, I flashed again with the original rom, and then touch screen went functional again but the wifi switch is kinda "broken" : it's impossible to turn on wifi from the Settings menu.
I returned the tablet where I bought it, seems there's a sort of material problem with it :/

Fast custom ROM 4.2.2 by TOxico for Ezee tab 901
Guys,
I manage to find a very fast and usable rom for our tablet: (THanks to Toxico.) this rom will change your life.
All information and download are in the thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=42274265
It should basically work on any A13 device with livesuit (tested on my Ezee tab 901 and on my 704CET mem up)
This rom comes with no TS driver, but there is all explanation and download to install the needed driver.
note: you might loose the camera though. I encourage you to read the full thread before going further and flash your tablet.
If you want to know the driver used on your tablet, run a adb shell and type lsmod (You will have a list of loaded/used driver.)
Dont be scared, everything is written in the toxico's thread
My only advice, if you dont know how to use adb, do not try it, this is not that easy.
I hope this will help.
Best regards.
As usual do it at your own risk and even more: make sure you have the original rom... just in case
Tutorial for 971.

Does anyone know a tutorial like this one but for the 971??
My brother-in-law wasn't using is so I'm thinking in tweaking it to see how it gets.

Hi, sorry i cant help you, it looks like the 971 is using a10 cpu, sôit can be different.
If you know what you are doing, u can try to backup your original firmware and test the solution i have provided from toxico in py post above. But there is no warranty it s going to work.
Any case, donnot forget google is your friend
Good luck
Unfornetly it seems google doens't like this tablet...
I'll see what I can do with some backups and all.
Thanks anyway!

[NST/NSTG][ROM] Tweaked Modded ROM Final [RETIRED][Jun23-2015]

This is a tweaked versions of the official UK 1.2.1 firmware (works with all devices, not just UK ones. Go to Settings > *Development > Locale Picker: to change local to United States).
Changes Made to nook_1_2_update.zip:
Busybox and init.d support.
Forced all rendering to be done on the GPU.
Chainfire3D drivers added.
Kick Ass Kernelizer
fixalign -ZipAlign & Fix Permissions on boot.
vac - Runs SQLite VACUUM & REINDEX to optimize databases
improved rendering of images and text.
OptiPNGed and Zipped all system apks.
Plus many improvements taken from this thread and many others.
To install:
Write CWM to a 2GB SD: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1360994
Download the modified nook_1_2_update.zip - 126 MB firmware and place it onto the SD you just wrote CWM to.
Place SD into NST and boot device.
Wipe all user data/factory reset and install nook_1_2_update.zip
Take out SD and boot device.
Setup Wifi and log into your B&N account.
Format SD and place what you ]want to enable onto it:
ReLaunch+Apps - This will replace the Home with ReLaunch and includes Cleanmaster, Calculator, Clearscreen, Email, ScreenRotator & Opera Mini.
EpubBrowser+Apps - This will replace the Home with EpubBrowser and includes Cleanmaster, Calculator, Clearscreen, Email, ES File Explorer, ScreenRotator & Opera Mini.
USB-Audio+FastMode+Host - This will enable USB Sound and USB Host + FastMode. Also enables ROOT/SU
SuperUser - Enables ROOT/SU.
Click to collapse
Place SD into the NST and reboot the device
While booting push and hold the lower left and the lower right buttons until you see CWM
Now Install what Home you want to use. EpubBrowser or ReLaunch and any other modules.
Thats it!
Once everything is installed leave it for about 5 minutes to let the device optimize all the apps and get everything setup (it will probably reboot).
Bugs:
The B&N Welcome screen will flicker. Tap the power button to get rid of it.
Tip: To bring up the list of apps installed in EpubBrowser, swipe a clockwise circle starting at 10 O'clock.
Once everything has settled down open the NookColor Tools app and un-tick then tick Non-Market apps so you can side load apps.
To be able to download apks from the Play Store and side load them onto the Nook, use this site: http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/
Remember the Nook is running Android 2.1 Éclair (API level 7), so any apps needing a newer version of Android won't load.
You can also grab this package of apps I put together that work with the NST:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nook-touch/themes-apps/share-setup-t3143404
Here is a video of my personal setup:
What I enabled:
nook_1_2_update.zip - This is just an optimized version of the default UK ROM with init.d+Busybox.
EpubBrowser+Apps.zip - This will replace the Home with EpubBrowser and includes Cleanmaster, Calculator, Clearscreen, Email, ES File, ScreenRotator & Opera.
USB-Audio+FastMode+Host.zip - Also enables ROOT/SU - Install this after logging into your B&N account. If you install it before you won't be able to register with B&N.
If you have under 50% battery life the USB sound dongle will cut out. So make sure you have plenty of battery life.
Thanks to :
latuk for the Kernel.
NFHimself for the EpubBrowser home screen.
antsm for Extended power menu
ИΘΘK¡€ for AndroNook Settings
Awesome to see a new ROM. Double awesome to see that it adds color to our devices

Thank you for this perfected ROM, will try it at some point later.
A question if I may: While booting push and hold the lower left and the lower right buttons until you see CWM - this means that you have to write the CWM image to SD card again, after formatting it? And then copy those two Nooter-zip files onto SD card with CWM image? Sorry if my questions looks silly here.
All download links are now up and working.
How compatible it's with NSTG and its glow functionality?

Have installed the ROM and nooter files, but my home screen continuously refreshes. Any idea why?
Also tried the separate replacement home file on top of the rooted ROM and it still keeps refreshing.
No books are shown in the 6 rectangular boxes.

I had the same issue with the Home. What I did to fix it was to find out what book was having issues generating a thumbnail images and changed the cover to a different one using Calibre.
You could also manually add the thumbnail images yourself. You do this by coping the image from Calibre library and renaming it the same as the title of the book.
If you just can't get it to work then replace the Home with this: Home.zip - 553.42 KB
You just flash it within CWM.
just one question bro...how u managed to bring colors to our black and white nook simple touch? how u made this magic happen?:fingers-crossed: that means we can also read colorful comic strips on it now
I wish I could figure this out myself, but I just don't know that much about android. :crying:
So here is my question.
I already have a NST and a NSTG rooted with NookManager. Is there anyway to just install this kernel and get the optimizations to run without going through the entire process above?
Does this include USB host?

Come on, people, are you serious - these are the screenshots, yes they are in color, but NST CAN ONLY show them in black and white.
Hi,
I have installed this room with Nook_Replacment_Home.zip not Nooter-partx.zip because I don't need Gapps.
But I don't find a way to view all the apps on the nook.
I only have the home screen with my book.

Maybe in full version of your rom with Nooter-Partx and Gapps.
I have the light install without Nooter-part. If I install and start fastmode2 it don't do anything on my NST. Maybey the kernel is not the same or not rooted with the light version of this rom.

One more question:
I want to use my NST without uSD card. But UC Browser (and other apps) only see /sdcard and sub-directory as download destination. But I want to download to /media directory.
Any idea workaround?

(guide)Installing android on your (aging) kindle e-reader

There once was a way to install android at
http://kdroid.org/
(Website is permanently down as of September 21, 2022)
this is a fork of a project that began in 2017 and stalled before mid-2019, it had been abandoned for long and it ran an ancient version of android(4.x)
Now, you can install this Android os (although a bit modified) on a Kindle.
It is not recent (released half a year ago) and pretty isolated on the internet.
And I want to bring such a guide to daylight, because I think it deserves attention.
(By the way, this is a work in progress, I apologize for the lengthy delays)
Here is the link:
{Mod edit: Link removed}
(Google drive link is coming)
Bear in mind while the system is very stable, I am not responsible for any issues caused by you using this (obviously uncertified) system
Detailed instructions are available in the attachments section.
Kindle 8 version is based on Android 5.1
All others are based on Android 4.4
I would say battery life is decent but keep in mind to not install resource-gobbling apps e.g. Minecraft or whatever
Supported models:
Kindle 7/Kindle Basic 2 /KT2 )
Kindle Paperwhite 2 ( Kindle Paperwhite 6 gen)
Kindle Paperwhite 3 ( Kindle Paperwhite 7 gen)
Kindle Voyage
Kindle Oasis 1
Kindle 8 gen/Kindle Basic 3 /KT3
KindleXMigu (China Mobile x migu books domestic version)
Newer models are not supported due to bootloader beig locked. Jailbreaking does not unlock your bootloader, and while Alpine linux or other light distros might run on the kindle by a container, Android would not really work. There will not be any significant development for newer models of the Kindle unlesss there is sufficient demand (from you guys)
For Kindle 7, paperwhite 2, 3(except 32gig Japan version) and voyage you could choose to keep the original Kindle OS
Spoiler: (over)simplified instructions. Please use flash guide below instead if not sure.
First root/jailbreak your Kindle and install KUAL
Install fastboot driver on PC, and disable signature check if needed
The driver name is wrong and should be something like adb setup 1.4.2 with an Android logo
Put main-htmlviewer. tar.gz from the uboot folder into Kual (the names might be different)
In KUAL you will see something like FlashAndroid.
Make sure you have enough battery power in your Kindle, and tap the button.
The Kindle will reboot and enter fastboot mode. The status bar of the Kindle loading will get stuck. Don't worry. Everything is fine here.
Without admin privileges, run start.exe
Enter 8 when a list of weird letters appear.
Your Kindle should now be running Android! Have fun!
Installation Guide Version 2.1 Is now available.
These are the instructions made into videos by the original author.
Oasis1, thisand this
Please let me know if the links are dead.
Extremely sorry for the delay,
Apparently you have to register this app called QQ,
Log in and apply for the forum,
And then download the zip.
Long story short I was too bad at Chinese and they thought I was some sort of troll or child.
However, the owner of the forum DID post a link to a Chinese website called baidu disk (something like that)
With so little memory and storage space, I doubt GMS will even work. However, I encourage you to try to find out!
UPDATE:
the project manager is in touch with me and we are writing and translating an entire comprehensive guide for all models supported. GMS does worl but it would drain battery life so badly it would be useless to even install.
Hello. I can't download the files from Baidu. Can you please link them here, or upload them to Google Drive?
It would be very appreciated. Thank you!
Unfortunately my Google drive is full, and I could not download the baidu disk files myself. This is being sorted out.
you may chat with me to find an alternaltive way if needed
Meanwhile, you can go to this telegram channel to download the files needed:

Trying to flash to a Kindle PW2 6.th gen running 5.12.2.2
Im running windows 11
I ran into a problem after step 2.5:
If the Kindle’s screen flashes and the Kindle restarts, wait until the Kindle loading bar stops
moving.
Your PC should indicate that something is being unplugged and plugged in multiple times.( still In
the loading screen)
DO NOT touch the power button while the Kindle restarts.

did so but have the folowing situation:
1- The Kinde starts rebooting and gets mounted for a periode of time. I would be able to copy files to the kindle.
2- Then it unmounts, the boot process goes on and goes to the "USB Drive Mode"
3- The device gets mounted and unmounted (at least windows plays the "plugin- plugout- sounds) in a never endling loop.
When I open de windows device manager Kindle shows up with the exclamation mark. There seems to be no valid driver for the device.
4- After about about a minute the Kindle reboots and runs throug the descibed steps
I guess the device fastboot drivers are not installed correctly.
I will try if intsalling the android sdk chances anything
Any suggestions?
The Kindle has been charged to 100% but im a little afraid, that it may constantly loose power and may die (?) The indicator LED is green while in state 1 and changes to orange while in state 2 and 3. does this mean its beeing charged at any time?
I would be happy for any suggestions
I solved it
i missed to manually add the driver.
after doing so. the bat ran fine. when it told me to do so i longpressed the power button to reboot.
now its running android :]
Thank you for your tutorial. I would suggest to describe the steps a little more detailed to make it noob proof :]

Whats your experience!?
it runs fine, but the possibilitys are very limited for now because i hardly find any any app that can be run.
there are no gapps installed, and im not shure wheter there is something like twrp available for the pw2.
there's a browser, a file manager and an ebook reader preinstalled as well as a launcher with some basic settings. wifi works.
I gave it a try because i was looking for a solution to display a calender that can sync with multiple google accounts. maybe someone can suggest, where to find old android kitkat apps that fit my needs.
forgot to say, that that its rooted with supersu.
i found out that apkmirror lets me filter my search for android versions.
i downloaded some apps and they all seem to work:
catLog
Calculator
Droid Info
Open Gapps app installs and runs fine but toasts "Connection to server failed" after i selected the pico package for 4.4
would have been too easy to believe though ^^

I find this tutorial work, but it requires some workaround.
"adb root" will not work. You will need "adb shell" to remount /system.
After copied you will need to fix copied file permission.
/system don't have enough disk for pico. You will need to remove something.
In my case, its PW2. I don't think it has enough ram to run it.
