Siri, S-Voice, Voice Commands - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

I am relatively new to flashing roms and playing around in the root of the phone, So I was wondering if S-voice is disabled or deleted on all custom roms or only the few roms I have tried.
I am currently running android version 4.2.2 with the 3.4.44- underwear kernel if anyone knows how to install a voice command software like S-voice that can access your apps for I found that usful on the stock OS of the phone for making appointments on the fly and texting while driving that would be awesome.
I appreciate any responses thank you

I'm running Jelly beans and it has them. Granted it's 4.1.2, but it is available for AT&T as well. Give it a try, you'll be able to pick the options you'd like during install.

MIUI and Smart Keyboard Pro

For the life of me, I cannot get voice to text, or voice feature too work. I've tried everything and posted in the MIUI forums without any answers or reply's. Also have a issue with certain apps not showing up on the desktop even though they are enabled to be shown.
Did you download voice search by Google in the market? Apps should appear on one of your far right home screens once downloaded.

What kernel? Doesn't work well with stock kernel, I've found jdkernel to handle this the best...
Is this in the dev section?

Problem with CM10 Rom

I was wondering if anyone has figure out how to get the CM10 Rom Wifi Tether to work with an ipad? I have tried for several days from various locations and it definitely connects up but there is no internet passing through to the New Ipad. Wifi Tether app seems to work, but there is a lot of loss of speed compared to my phone directly. Would like to use the one in the ROM, but doesn't seem to work or is so slow it can't even load up a Google page which is pretty bad.
Thanks

Custom SMS ringtone/vibrate not working?

I'm using the Spring Galaxy Note 2 with the latest (mid-Feb. 2013) update. Under contacts, there is a way to set both custom ringtone and custom messaging (SMS) tones, along with custom vibration patterns, for each contact.
The custom ringtones for phone calls work fine, but the custom SMS ringtones and vibration patterns don't work. Since the functionality appears to be there, I'd rather not switch to another app, but I can't get this working. Has anyone else gotten it working - am I missing something in the setup - or is this function known not to be working properly?
Again, this is for SMS, not phone calls. The individual phone ringtones work OK.

As far as I know that's never been possible with the stock app.

You do realize that - per my OP - the option is actually now available in the stock app, right? The options are there (I've only just noticed them since the most recent update) but I think like some other Samsung functions they don't actually work.

[Q] Minimum Rom

I have been away from the XDA forums for a while but have recently got back in here and have been reading about my Spring Note II. I have not been able to locate a Rom that i would consider a (lite or light Rom) with absolutely bare bones as far as the apps on it. I do not want anything extra other than what it take to run this phone. I have experience with rooting as i have rooted every one of my phones and i go through them like crazy. If there is not a Rom out there like this does anyone have a link or list of all the apps that can safely be remove. I have been going through trial and error but it takes so long to remove an app wait to make sure it stays stable then back up & repeat. I know this has probably been mentioned before so please hang tight with me as i do not post random questions i havent tried to find myself first
Have tried Whompasaurus 4.2 & MacksROM Allstar
not that I'm aware. Some stuff is pretty obvious.
I prefer to get rid of as much as I can because I use different app, and I want my storage space for other stuff.

The obvious things I can get rid of easily. Its all the com.'s & different push services plus the apps with no icons just little Androids that im not sure of
Digiblur is debloated if you want Touchwiz. Slimrom is great if you want to go to Aosp.

gps/navigation glitching... google maps

not sure if it's the latest firmware or the latest update to google maps/navigation but my phone used to be fine.
my issue is when my gps is navigating, the nearby roads/rivers seem to shift around a lot. the pathing is perfect but the visuals are really buggy.
i dont know how else to describe it besides the 3d rendering being extremely shakey/flashing/shifting around. it only happens while moving. if i'm stationary it can produce a steady image.
i think i'm finally going to switch to an aftermarket rom =)
have any of you recently run into issues like mine or found a solution to this?
Haven't seen it myself, but I rarely use maps anyway.
I do know that Google made a number of changes in the last couple of updates, some of which people have not been happy with. It could be that your just experiencing a bug. May get fixed in next update, but who knows.
Why not just go back to a recent but previous version? At least you'll know if its the app or the rom. If you flash the rom first you won't know for sure.
