You say you have used them before.
Are these like adhesive stickers like Laptop skins or are these cases with designs printed on them?

Screen
Hard to tell from your video, does it have any lip to lift the screen off of a table if it is set down on the face? I think I can see one, but you mention that it won't protect the phone at all if it is dropped on the screen, which tells me that it doesn't stick out at all.

No it doesn't have any lip to protect the screen, a nice feeling case but not one for protection.

Yes there is. It's not big lip but just enough to raise the phone that the screen doesn't touch the table when placed face down. And I think this provides protection to most vulnerable parts of the phone: corners.

Yes it does. I think it's stupid. And there's no real use for it either: With a coin in it's place, it's not something i'd call very stable, so i rather keep the phone in my hand or have it leaning against something. And the looks could be more like in the s2s version. Other than that, i think it's a great case and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a minimal case that doesn't add to much bulk.
P.S. Just got the official slim case today (yes, the twin pack), so we'll see which one do i prefer...

I should have a replica mesh case soon which doesn't have the coin slot. Think if the quality is good it should be a wicked case.

Yeah I saw this one a few days ago too! Finally a protective case that looks great, and with white color too! Ordered.
But after a few days, is'nt there dust or smt. under the front cover? Cause for the menu button, there is a hole in the front?!
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
ive got one and i cannot see any dust or smt under the screen cover, and the outer /back part off the case come off easy to put it in a dock ,once you now how it fits
I guess a little dust could get in from the speaker hole at the top but it would take a while to build up and its easy enough to remove the case to clean it.

Hey guys,
Got this case, and decided to review it for you . Its a pretty thin full body case. Doesnt add thtat much bulk and it feels natural. The little squares on the back gives a nice look to it.

how about a link for those of us that haven't?
I have a phone just sitting at home needing a screen and LCD display. That ensamble is about $215.
plus I have to change it myself and if i mess something up I am out another $215 so idk if i want to undertake that risk.

Well, it would be SUPER expensive ($250+), void your warranty, and honeslty, just be simply difficult to do...
but there is an alternative:
http://www.uniqueskins.com/idevaffiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=1654
simply you upload what you want, and make your own skin.. including the front.
(shameless plug, I admit I am an affiliate of them, but I am honest about it.)
I'm pretty sure that's just the battery cover, not the LCD.

Transparent back cover?

Hey there, I currently have the white S3 and I'm wondering if anyone knows where to get a transparent back cover to replace the white one that came with it. That would be awesome.

HE is from Cleveland, English is like a second language there, so give him a break. how is he supposed to know the difference between back cover, and.. whatever he thought the rest of us are talking about?
you can use the samsung ultra slim covers just without the battery door of the phone, works well. tried it right now.
Closest thing I could find.

I fully agree.
well, there is the one guy that made silicone molds of his back cover, and then made a real CF one... perhaps he can be perswaded to use his molds to make clear ones from some other material?
I think it would look cool but it would also get severely dirty and/or yellow

Well I already fear that my original white back cover will gain that effect anyway, not too worried about a transparent one doing that.

worst case scenario: ad a LITTLE heat (like a tiny bit at a time) just to soften a tiny bit, and then push it closer to the battery. not too much, so you don't melt anything.
here my, it's a Box Wave case with no back cover. i don't use it much cause the power button is to stiff and the side grip feel like sh*t
I remember back in the day, those clear candy bar shape phones with the flashing lights inside was all the rage lol .. these phones just dont look as cool inside lol
