[Q] What Does Inverted Apps Mean?

Plain and simple, the title says it all.

Light text on dark background...just a different look for gmail, play store, mms, etc.

And if you think scientifically about it, dark colors use less power, so it could even be a power saver ^-^

When I used the inverted gapps I kept getting contacts FC when I tried using the phone.....I load regular and they was fine...

contacts and phone go together you have to find the right gaps and matching set my friend...

dont be scuuuured been flashing inverted for months now with no problem. I mean if you have your stuff working just change out 1 apk at a time. Its really not that big of a deal and you should just create your own inverted gapps instead of finding others. Its what I do..

Hmm, I searched around, but I couldn't find any latest inverted gapps to use... would anyone have a link to something as to where to get the inverted gapps...... black on white is a huge screen battery killer ><

Try searching for justinbean in the skyrocket thread. IF A gapps there are compatible with ICS for us, and jb there is compatible for our jb...depends on what you're running.

Here's the thread. I'm using them with AOKP JB and they've been running great.
It should also be added that the power savings is only seen on displays who's pixels produce light, rather than using a backlight. This obviously includes the AMOLED display on the T989.

Hmm, I'm using Jedi Knight (4.0.4 ICS) ... so I can't flash the JB Gapps...
I'm assuming the AOKP Milestone 6 will work though, right? ... now to find the link . . .

Galaxy Note 2 photo gallery?

Is there a way to get the Galaxy Note 2 spiral gallery on our phones?

Shadow_God has it on both his Universe & Jellyverse roms

Yeah, that's where I first noticed it. For some reason I can't install Jellyverse, may be to do with that I'm on a MVNO. Was hoping for a way to do it separately.

I have a perfect working flashable apk I didnt make it and dont know who did, got it on XDA and would gladly thank and give credit to the creator. For some reason its smoother than the ones on the new jellybean builds. Been using it for a few months, it was ported to the I9100 but works flawlessly on ICS E4GT, using it now on the Blu Kuban. I dont know how to post a zip here, but I can email to you..............EDIT, All thanks for the work figuring this out and porting to sgs2 I9100 "danieldmm" works great on our E4GT. you can definitely go to the I9100 themes and apps and thank this man

You may be able to extract the apk from a rom and push to system/app

Try pushing the app and the lib file in and setting permission. ...and reboot

So I think I already know the answer to my question but it never hurts to ask...i suppose. Is there any way to get the best gallery for android (this one) to work on cm 10.1? I flashed and nothing. Its because the gallery is touchwiz correct?

I saw something about inverted apps on a post somewhere but I completely forgot where and what the name was... I just remember it was like Johnny something apps... Any help would be great!

Well I am thinking about going back to a tw rom for a couple reasons and i just wanted to know if I can even use then on tw roms and how to go about installing them?

you can pull some of the apps out of the installer, some of them wont work completely though. Messaging will not send Mms without some tweaks.

Ive seen an inverted gapps for tw thread somewhere... for our phone... I'll see if I can find it.
Edit. .. maybe I was dreaming. .. which would be pretty sad lol

I found the zip on my SD card... It is for ICS and jb tw ROMs... And its inverted gapps. I will not post a mirror though because I don't have the devs permission. And I can't find what thread I got it from. But its out there. I haven't tried it yet

Got it and enjoying both the updated apps ...I think everyone should download these updated apps,as these are major upgrades (see the old and the new app versions details )

I made this ROM only for my personal use, but some people told me that you guys will like it so i'm asking now. Is anyone interested in Honami themed GB ROM?
Some specs:
- Based on Gin2JellyBean ROM
- Android version: 2.3.7
- Xperia S Walkmann modded
- Xperia S camera app (Z1 themed)
- Home.apk Z1 themed as much as possible
- NXT r2 settings
- My statusbar themed to look like XZ
- and much more
When i decide to release this i probably rebase this on .79 firmware.

1. Change backround to white is very easy but make black texts is quite difficult. But i'll do my best
2. When i finish this ROM i can maybe make sys. ui with % battery mod.
3. When i find out how to make patch i can make it.
