Any of Custom Rom for Xperia Play R800a? - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Like the title say. Still don't exist, right?

R800a and r800i use same firmware so you can use any of the r800i roms out there since they're both gsm they are compatible

Does anyone know if there's 2.3.3 update for xperia play? I tried to use SE's updater but it says I'm up to date on 2.3.2

There is no 2.3.3 for the Verizon Xperia Play (R800x) as of yet. The exploit hole that was patched in other folk's version of 2.3.3 was patched in our 2.3.2 . Further, SonyEricsson has stated that they don't intend to help those folks on CDMA to unlock their bootloaders. Welcome to a locked down device.
Now as to if you could flash it to another network than Verizon... do they share the same radio frequency? If so, then maybe. However, my stance is to say unlikely.
i would also like to know if this is possible on my r800x too

Only for arc s ?

I was wondering if all the things for the Arc S are compatible with the Arc,like the new miui,in the topic I only see LT18i >_<
You might have to flash the LT18 ftf first before installing. Some of the mods do not fit in the arc internal memory.

so if I buy the ARC lt15i I won't be able to install some roms?
You can after you flash the LT18A ftf. Anything on the arc will work on the arc s providing they have enough memory.
